This was my first visit to Paris Baguette, and I'd definitely come back! We ordered two medium iced vanilla lattes along with the hash brown bread with ham and cheese, an almond pain au chocolat, and the very berry pastry. The iced vanilla lattes were really good. The pastries were the highlight. The almond pain au chocolat was perfectly flaky, and the filling was absolutely delicious. The very berry pastry was my favorite. The cream was light, fresh, and had just the right amount of sweetness, and the fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese was very dense and filling, making it a great savory option. I loved the self-serve pastry setup and appreciated how large the bakery selection was. While some items looked a little fresher than others, there was still plenty to choose from, and everything we picked was delicious. The bakery itself was very clean with plenty of comfortable seating, and I noticed they even offer WiFi, making it a nice place to work, catch up with someone, or just enjoy a coffee. It was fairly busy and a little noisy, but there were still plenty of open seats. Parking was also easy thanks to the large parking lot. The only downside was the service. The staff wasn't unfriendly, but they also weren't especially welcoming. I also had trouble hearing the employee calling out completed drinks, so I ended up waiting around 10 minutes. It's possible our coffees were ready sooner, but I didn't want to crowd the pickup area. Our total came to about $30 for two coffees and three pastries, which felt reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. They were both fresh, light, and Yummy. The cake came with a cake slicer and in the slicer were some matches. I thought that was very thoughtful and useful. They included some candles, too. We stopped by the Paris Baguette in Sacramento on the way to Tahoe around 4pm. Right away we noticed their bread selection was pretty limited. Even though they were still open for several more hours, it looked like only about 25% of their usual offerings were available. The item we were most hoping for, garlic croissant, was sold out along with the custard and red bean breads. Part of that is on us for stopping by later in the day and not calling ahead, but I did expect a bit more restocking with so much time left before closing. This is a great place to come if you just wanna grab something quick or if you wanna sit and talk with somebody over something sweet they also make fresh sandwiches. I have to say their BLT is the bomb this time I came in for breakfast ham and cheese croissant and had it warmed up and it was just delicious. I've had better croissants, but this is consistently very very good place. Prices are super reasonable and even after years of being open, it's sparkling clean inside. You grab the tongs, tray, and paper to line the tray to the right of the entrance door. I think the fun of picking out your own pastries is the coolest thing! I enjoy the options and variety of sweet and savory that is offered. The croquettes are a must every-time I go! The curry one is probably my favorite. Also the tarts are anther must for sweets. They are perfect size and great consistency. We weren't a super fan of the hot dog bun and garlic hot dog bun. They tasted a lil off and didn't love how sweet they were. I also got a matcha latte and it just tasted like milk. So I Probally wouldn't get that again. The coffee I've had in the past from here though has been pretty good. The layout is good though and they def upped the appearance since the last time I've been here with new cases and sanitary options. Parking here isn't bad. I typically love Paris Baguette so this review is more related to business needs rather than personal. Last year in 2024, Paris Baguette used to offer a service time of 7:30am but I recently learned that they have changed their business hours to now 8:30am. This makes it now impossible for my employer to order any catering services, which was a favorite by employees. A majority of the time, corporate events begin early in which delivery was feasible at 7:30am but now, with the 8:30 am changed hours, we can no longer order any catering with this company. It's very disappointing but there should be something in place that's separate from personal service hours vs business service hours so that it can accommodate business orders. I hope management at Paris Baguette can reevaluate their business hours for situations like this. They are a great company with great pastries but they'll now miss out on business opportunities as a result of their time change. read more

Love this cute little bakery and coffee shop. It is located close to Howe and Arden area. We picked up some pastries, a cake and a piece of mango cake to try. The almond croissant and was my favorite. Filled with an almond filling and perfectly crusty on the outside. It was eaten before a picture! You can preorder online for anything. Some cakes require lead time to pick up but I love to do a preorder for pastries and coffee so I can just grab and go. For holidays it is perfect because the cakes are festive and of course delicious. You can also walk in and pick your pastries from the case by grabbing a tray, tongs and picking your favorites. This visit, I brought my South Korean, stainless steel, Kimchee container in order, placing all the wonderful, delectable sweets without getting crushed or becoming hot on the drive returning to my humble abode.
