Maintenance requests didn't disappear into a void - they got handled, correctly, within a reasonable timeframe. - Milan and Ronald on the maintenance team did genuinely high-quality work and were always professional. - Jules at the front desk was a highlight of coming home. The whole team consistently went above and beyond, and I don't use that phrase lightly. In a city where building management can make or break a living situation, The Lara gets it right. When I had come for my appointment, there was another couple who had already waited over 30 minutes for the dude to show up. They called, I called, the front desk called and nada (oh, and I also emailed). Funny enough later on the day, he was readily to reply back to my bf about his appointment as my bf made a separate inquiry. If you can reply back to my bf, you can reply back explaining your no show or at least offer another reschedule. SHADY AF. To sum it up: Unprofessional and a waste of time.

The way apartments are laid out are almost hotel-like with TONS of apartments per floor. When I came to a birthday party for a friend here, I learned that while their lobby gets regularly used for parties, events and gatherings there is no restroom accessible to public guests - with copious amounts of alcohol present my friend's guests (and their guests, lol) had no choice but to use their apartment bathroom. It was here where I learned that their (awesomely) decorated apartment (which my friend's husband owns) has a weirdly sweet few of an unfinished building that's currently in process of being built - I think it's cool to see the inner workings and empty steel-beam endoskeleton of a building being born - then again I also have a case of being weird every now and then and one of my friends thought this view was "ugly", to each their own :). One star for now having a restroom nearby where events can be thrown. 4 stars for being dark and mysteriously beautiful, being close to the train (1 and R)...oh and for not being on Yelp, thus me having to create it so that my friends and I could check in last night :).

I've lived in multiple cities and in multiple apartment buildings in the past couple years and…read morenothing compares to how bad my experience was at 95 Wall St For starters, one of the doorman allowed someone to try to break into my apartment unit back in August 2025. I was abruptly woken up by a phone call from the lobby at 2AM which I initially ignored since I was sleeping and was not expecting visitors at 2AM (who is??). A couple minutes later, I heard my keypad being frantically messed with by a man I did not recognize outside who was trying to get in. I was extremely scared and luckily, he gave up after numerous attempts. 95 Wall St prides itself as a doorman building so if a 2AM phone call from the lobby to my unit went ignored, this man should have never been able to come up. Afterwards, I filed a report to the police and they came in for investigation. I also tried to follow up with management the following morning but they were extremely dismissive of my case and even said the problem was "my fault" since I did not speak to them in the "correct tone of voice". My bad for being upset that someone had tried to break into my unit and I was up all night panicked, I guess. I also tried swapping units or breaking my lease early as I didn't feel safe in my space but they threatened to charge me twice my rent and refused to let me move or break my lease otherwise I also lived near neighbors who would smoke and fight non-stop. The smoking led to me being unable to breathe in my own unit. The fighting would start around 7AM, where I had to hear a couple screaming and throwing things all day long. This led to it being nearly impossible to get any sleep in my own home. And what did management do when I complained? If you guessed "nothing", you would be correct! Elevators also never work properly so expect to wait 10-15 minutes just to get upstairs I had in-unit washer and dryer but the quality was so bad that the machines often destroyed my clothes. Else, they didn't work at all so there wasn't much point of having "in-unit" Hot water would also shut off abruptly without notice. I'm pretty sure this is an NYC building code violation but alas, nothing was done about this issue either despite complaints (what's new) On the topic of water, sometimes the water from my sinks would come out brown. The apartments have no insulation and windows aren't properly sealed, so your utilities bills will be $400 to live in an uncomfortable (freezing cold or very warm) apartment. There is brown water regularly coming out of the faucets. Numerous of the units have had roach infestations lasting several months. Fixtures randomly fall from the ceilings in very dangerous ways. And that's all before even mentioning the regularly broken elevators causing long lines and 15-20 minute waits just to get in and out. Management is incompetent and things don't get fixed. Stay away if you can

Delivery was organized and communication with maintenance was great. There's also a convenience downstairs that has almost everything you can think of for emergencies. The building management team specifically Alexis was super helpful and responsive! Everything was resolved quickly and efficiently. I really appreciate the care and support Alexis provided.

If I have any questions or need assistance, they're only a phone call away for any concerns or help I need. The studio apartment I'm currently living in is very spacious, and the appliances are brand new and work efficiently. The heat works amazingly; I literally just need to keep it on for a short amount of time, and it will keep my whole apartment warm for hours after I shut it off. The water is always hot. I'm really loving the space, and I have no complaints so far, and I've been here for 4 months already.
