I've been going to Pet Supply forever & have always loved them, but I felt compelled to write a review after my visit tonight. Long story short, my 3 year old mutt rescue dog is INCREDIBLY picky with food and has had digestive issues his whole life. The one semi-consistent food he's been eating for a year has gone from "okay" to "not anymore" quick. After 3 years of trying every single option with little to no results, you begin to feel defeated, lost, financially suffering, etc. That was me tonight coming in for ANY advice beyond the 50+ things I've already tried. Cody & Derrick (hope I'm spelling his name correctly) were empathetic, SO knowledgeable, and patient. They both heard out what I've tried, what results I'm hoping for, etc. and never once did either of them give the sense that they either didn't believe my exhausted efforts and/or weren't equally as invested in offering/workshopping new potential routes for my dog. Any pet parent who will do anything for their baby yet yields little progress knows how devastating this can feel, so walking out of the store tonight I had so many informed options (a Plan A, B, AND C for the next few weeks) that gave me a genuine sense of hope I haven't felt in a while. I am moved by people like Derrick & Cody who care about people's pets like their own. So, beyond offering a million amazing products at a great price, they offered knowledge and genuine compassion--which, to me, makes me the most loyal of customers. read more

Horrible customer service, bad management. My disabled mother bought us wrong collar for our cat. She ended up getting a dog collar on accident. I just wanted to swap it out for cat collar and they said absolutely not without a receipt or proof of payment & within 30 days. Well it has been within 30 days and we have proof of payment and manager Morgan still said no cause we can't locate receipt, it was a Christmas gift. What a joke!? We enjoy taking Zoey here at least once a month to get food toppers, toys, treats and etc. There is such a variety here and Zoey loves going down the aisles sniffing around for yummies. The staff treats her so kindly :) I don't think I've ever spent below $50 here. Zoey gets spoiled with the treats! The store is pretty big, clean and well stocked. At least 2-3x bigger than the Woodbury location - that I sometime go to for convenience of location. Pretty organized and fairly easy to navigate around. Pet Supply does offer loyalty programs on specific purchases if you frequently buy the same brand. Plenty of parking in this big lot and not a hassle unlike the Woodbury location. read more

I really wanted to love this location because I've been a huge promoter for the Woodbury location for years but I was very disappointed about my last visit. I am a huge proponent of supporting local businesses and was offered a small 5% off loyalty discount code for following their Woodbury location and also actively promoting them on my social accounts (as well as on my pet's) but when I came to this location it took about 6 people to decide if they wanted to give me a discount because they had never heard of such a promotion. Ironically, the discount appears on my profile and as someone who has worked in customer services for over a decade I would have expected that for such a low discount you'd just honor it instead of wasting ten minutes of the customer's time just to say no. What's even more interesting is that they offer the discount to people who work in the area so it's not that they COULDN'T do it, they just wouldn't. If it were me, I would have just given the discount as a gesture of customer service, but the owner's daughter's apathy is the reason why I decided to share my experience on this platform. There are so many bigger corporations selling the same products for significantly less money and it breaks my heart that because of this negative experience I really can't see myself returning here especially when I drove 50 miles to this location on the positive recommendation of their Woodbury manager. read more

I love this place! Its my first choice for pet supplies, whether its something to spoil my pups or a necessity like food/supplements. They also have non-anesthetic dentals you can schedule a couple days a week, and a vet who you can schedule to have your pet seen by a couple days each week as well for check ups, basics, and vaccines, and other needs. They carry multiple brands of prescription foods for multiple dietary needs in cats and dogs as long as you have the up to date prescription. Pricing is about the same as what you'd find at other pet stores, if not a little cheaper for some things. They have the largest selection of brands, and the most variety I've seen, and are willing to special order many things if its not in stock or carried if they're able to (ie specific formulas for a brand they carry, or a bag size). They also have a large selection of cat supplies (basically an entire store dedicated just to the cats, and have cat adoptions on Saturdays for a few hours through a local rescue. They always welcome my pup with a smile and give him lots of love and treats! He loves going in, and loves all the staff. They do enforce all animals being in a carrier or a 6ft or shorter leash, but they welcome animals who are properly contained for their species. All the employees are friendly and knowledgable, and willing to help carry items out if needed. They're always willing to help with finding the best items for your pets needs/wants/budget, and will call the other locations if they're sold out of something you're looking for, or show you the alternatives they have. They also have aisles for rodents and smaller creatures, birds, reptiles and fish, etc. They usually have a good holiday selection for dogs and cats as well, depending on which holidays are upcoming, and a good selection of pet themed gifts. A lot of brands have loyalty programs (commonly buy 9 get 1 free or similar to that), and theres monthly specials and deals as well. I always choose them over the big pet store companies, and I've never regretted it. They don't sell live animals outside of the cat adoptions on Saturdays. (which is for the better; its so much healthier for animals to be adopted through rescues and such, in much better condition than most pet stores can provide, and I've never seen live animals for sale in pet stores that had humane conditions, where the animals were healthy). They also have a great sale for Small Business Saturday in November, and ocassionally other events throughout the year. And representatives from different pet food brands occasionally there giving out samples and to answer any questions you have on that brand. They also usually have small sample bags of some pet foods/treats, and little $1 mixed dog treat bags with a decent variety if you aren't worried about allergies for you pup. They also have a scale at the back to weigh your dogs (or other small animals), and a large selection of dental hygiene products and treats. Two full aisles are dedicated to treats, 3 to dog food, 1 aisle to supplements, and 2 full aisles of cat foods/treats. Multiple aisles of toys and other needs as well. read more

Cat owners know, the selection of cat items at our regular big pet store is disappointing. Cat Country held the widest variety of cat food, toys, and supplies I have ever seen- it was truly an awesome sight to see! It was so fun browsing for toys my cat would enjoy! I love supporting small business, but when they wouldn't sell me a few cans of prescription DOG FOOD not medications to get me through until our next vet appointment which is next week, I find that unacceptable. My dog has cancer and can't just eat anything ... it could kill her. No exceptions. Sometimes you just have to do what's right and make exceptions.
