The facility is very nice, they have an app to book appointments and Gio is very communicative so it's always a great transaction. Set your expectations though, this is a true barbershop! Music playing, lively barbers and lively customers so it's a good time and can get loud at times, but that is half the fun of going to get your haircut. They asked questions about my hair, how I usually style it, if I use any products, and gave suggestions based on my hair type and face shape. That made me feel comfortable and confident. But this time, I got an older barber whose name I couldn't even find on the shop website. The whole haircut felt rushed and uncomfortable. He barely talked to me and mostly just spoke Spanish with another barber the entire time. He only asked me what I wanted, and when I asked if he had any recommendations or suggestions for my hair type, he didn't really help at all. He even asked me to show him a picture, so I had to pull out my phone and search TikTok inside the shop just to show him the side style I wanted. I only said I wanted the sides shorter, but instead of giving advice or explaining what would fit me best, he just grabbed a section of my hair and said "2 inches," then started cutting. I trusted this shop because of the high ratings and because my previous experiences were good, so I honestly thought every barber here would give professional consultation and recommendations. Unfortunately, this haircut ended up not matching my preference, my hair texture, or even my face shape. Parts of my hair were left uneven -- half long and half short -- and overall I left really disappointed.

Especially for being an all men's barber shop! My husband says Eric takes his time and is very detailed which is a great thing in my opinion. You feel you get your full service in rather than feeling like a number and rushed out. Plus, I am always satisfied he looks like a new man every fade. Not to mention how user friendly their website is, I usually book his appointments because he tends to forget or gets really busy with work. We found DeadStock by purely random Google search. We needed someone to cut our hair before our trip to Las Vegas. There are two of us. One has a "military style" hair cut for Law Enforcement. The other a more modern "fade" with braids. It is very hard to find a barber skilled in various types and styles of haircuts- with different textures of hair. Deadstock didn't disappoint. We have a new barber now- DEADSTOCK! It's just down the freeway and very close to our ranch. Family oriented, clean, friendly- well done. First time out- he hits a home run on both our cuts! After you are done, he's located in a complex it has a lot of other alternatives. Deadstock is located in a large Rockwall complex that offers everything from food to movies! They even have a cigar bar and restaurants that we were unaware existed. So he is SUPER convenient- unlike our last barbers - this is a major bonus. There is plenty of free parking.
