Came here on a Friday and had a lemonade, a lobster appetizer, the fat vegan and the steak since they were out of chicken.

The atmosphere alone is worth a visit. The drinks are definitely crafted with care and have a lot of complexity, but with only two bartenders working, it took quite a while to get ours. Not the place to go if you want quick service or are grabbing a drink before another event. My biggest downside is the price point--most cocktails are around $17. They're good, but at that price I can really only justify having one. Note: They do not have food, just snacks like peanuts. Overall, amazing ambiance and well-made drinks, just expect slower service and a higher bill.

Very impressed by their craftsmanship and experimental flavors. There's not many places in this area that even attempt to do that. I love the speakeasy vibe. Super cool entrance and fun comfortable lounge upstairs. It's a fantastic place to go as an intimate group. But it's kind of small to take a group of more than 4 friends. Cocktails were made surprisingly quick even on a busy night. Everything is just really great about this place. Except for maybe the price lol but at least you're getting what you pay for in a good way

It's a great way to sit around and have lively conversations with friends. My favorite combo this time was the Spressy Martini and Truffle Fries. However, we had all the small plates and 7 different cocktails. All were very good. The end with Pistachio Cheesecake was so good. The staff are always willing to make their place better. Patrick, manager, is the nicest and always welcoming to any feedback. Our waiter, Elijah, was attentive and super kind.

The food was delicious, delicately placed on plates and left room for dessert. It's been a long time since I've done a small plates meal with friends. And we had a great time. Definitely will come back again! Possibly even to see what the happy hour menu involves. I would recommend this restaurant we were here for dinner The service was good, could've visit our table a little more often. But the server was a tentative, offered recommendations, and when we requested something special on a plate, it was followed through incorrect the first time. Love the lightning fixtures as well. The green towel and the ladies room was beautiful.

Love the atmosphere, nice staff and seating very comfortable. Would def come back! I especially love drink that comes with kimchi and chips, I forget the name but it was amazing (see photo) - I got refill on kimchi so happy it was allowed as that's my only complaint - not enough kimchi & chips to accompany the drink.

The cocktails were creative, playful, and impressively strong without sacrificing quality. I had the Seoular Flare, which had a noticeable kick but was still very drinkable. It came with BBQ chips, and when our bartender--the same guy from that morning--noticed how much I loved them, he brought me extra. Such a thoughtful touch. The rest of our drinks were equally inventive and well-crafted. I admittedly had some doubts about whether the creativity would translate into cocktails that actually tasted good, but they completely proved me wrong. A fun concept backed by genuinely great drinks and hospitality.

I would recommend getting a reservation for the weekend. The restaurant is located at the bottom of the Maverick and the decor is absolute gorgeous. By the end, I was convinced that their wallpaper would look great in my living room. Our waiter was very lovely and attentive. There was one small issues with our appetizers which resulted in them being delayed. He took full responsibility and made it right. I really liked my pear centric cocktail, it had a very appealing purple shade. My salmon was very good with nice bright flavors. It was a little spicier than expected but not too hot either. The coconut rice was good to help with that. The Korean fried tofu was perfectly crunchy and slightly spicy (this time it was expected). Good flavors to it. The babaganoush was excellent with all the extra little toppings on top. The seeded crackers were excellent and I wished I had ask if they made them there. My friend had the crispy eggplant and bread service (no gluten for me sadly). She said everything was good as well. We shared the Japanese cheesecake. It was absolutely delightful. The texture is so light and creamy! The banana pieces with the creme brulee crust were so good. Excellent caramel sauce. Overall, trendy space with good food and drinks!

I stayed on my no drinking and tried a mocktail espresso martini with the girls and it still felt like the full experience, but I already know I'm coming back for the cocktails. It's small, kind of tucked away, and has this really easy energy to it. The kind of place where you're just in the moment-sharing everything, ordering "just one more thing," and realizing the whole night went by without anyone checking the time.

The bar serves cocktails, wines, beers, and mocktails. For dinner and late-night bites, the restaurant focuses mostly on small plates and shareables, including charcuterie, chicken wings, pizzetta, steak, and salmon. They also have a Sunday brunch that serves lox bagel, shrimp and grits, French toast, mimosa, bloody Mary, etcetera. My husband and I ate one lunch here. The best aspect of The Finch was its beautiful views of downtown Pittsburgh's skyscrapers, Monongahela River, and subway trains. The foods and drink were a mixture of quality, and my husband called them "garbage" (eek!). Here are my ratings for them. Berry Mint Spritz - 4 stars - This mocktail (I could have ordered it with alcohol to turn it into a cocktail) contained strawberries, mint, lemon, syrup, and soda water. All of the flavor had settled on the bottom of the glass, so I could have used a straw to mix the drink, but I did enjoy the flavors. Summer Crab Cakes - 2 stars - I received two crab cakes, and they were some of the worst crab cakes that I have ever received anywhere. They contained too much breading and too little meat. I did not even like the flavor of the cherry tomatoes on the side. I usually love crab cakes, but with these ones, I could take only a couple of bites, and then I had the waitress throw away the rest. Hawaiian Pizzetta - 4 stars - This small pizza consisted of four slices that had cheese but no gooey cheese-pull. Other toppings were BBQ sauce drizzle, pineapple, ham, and red pepper. I thought that it tasted good. Ember Steak Skewers - 4 stars - My husband said that the steak was not the highest quality. At least the chunks of steak, peppers, onions, and mushroom (we counted one piece of mushroom!) were marinated and seasoned nicely. The total cost for this one mocktail, three foods, and one soda was $79 *plus* a 3% credit-card surcharge, tax, and a minimum tip of 18%. We asked the waitress for a receipt, but she did not bring us one, so we walked up to her to ask for it again, and we did receive it.
