Back side of truck stop and life is inside their food! I ordered lingua quesadilla. The red & green sauce were fresh and refrigerated. Both equally delicious but the star was the lingua!!!! So damn good and I'm from Jefferson, OR so I'll be wishing. Dreaming. Hoping. For these lingua quesadillas forever more. The hubs ordered ground beef taco & GB enchilada with rice and beans. He loved it! Ate most of it of his food Richie's for him is a big deal these days. The have Jarritos pineapple and Coca~Cola in the bottle. So yup dream meal. Only small issue. Salsa was above average and had to ask for chips and salsa. I got the breakfast burrito because breakfast is served anytime of day. Very marginal.... Very little flavor. My son liked the fish tacos. Our waitress was very young and did not know the answers to several of our questions about the menu. Overall cleanliness in the restaurant side was not very good. I appreciate that they have both an English version and Spanish version of their menu. It makes it much easier to order for people who only speak Spanish or only English. It is very spacious, so it looks like it would be good for big parties and celebrations. Our burritos were quite tasty. I had them to go because we had to get back on the road. read more

Wow. I used to love this place. Not so much now. The good. Good is still pretty darn good. Service was average. But I always expect that since I'm not Hispanic. The bad. Wow the prices have gone up. You can get equally good food at other Mexican restaurants for upwards of 30% less. The video poker machines are sooooo loud now you can't think. And finally they charge you to use a credit card. We came in on taco Tuesday, took a while to find the place behind the truckstop. Quaint place got a bar in the back restaurant in the front gambling exact all kinds of tequila service was good cause it was so quiet taco plates for taco Tuesday. The service has been good. Friendly ice looks pretty clean. It's always a good thing I love the Homie colors Mexico we did have a couple Modelo beers to 20 ounce. They're huge for lunch. They really need to do something about the excessive amount of flies that you have to fight for your food. I have never seen so many flies in doors. Me and my 13 year old daughter was swatting them away as we attempted to eat our burritos. I think in the end we won. As not a single one managed to land on our food. This is the second time visiting and still not impressed as everyone else. Salsa was runny and chips were stale. Husband had the ground beef tacos and said they had good flavor, but the beans and rice were bland. I had chicken tacos and there was no flavor. Waitress did not bring extra flour tortillas that was requested and was upset that she had to still bring them and insisted that he did not order them. Above average authentic Mexican food, a bit pricey but the ingredients justify the costs. We had a beef soup (cocido) and a carne asada plate. Both plates were really tasty, portions were above average, both plates came with extra meat, food temperature was excellent. Well that went downhill fast. What a big disappointment!! Just 3 days apart and the burrito I got today for the same price had no carne asada no cilantro and onions. I added cheese there was hardly any. It was just all rice and to top it off it was a quarter of the size of the one from Thursday. It's an hour away and it's it's extremely upsetting. To start out the server was friendly. As for the food.... I cannot say that it was good. And I'm sorry to say this but they're salsa was basically like water with a little bit of chili mixed in. No flavor, even the green no flavor. It saddens me to say this. I ordered a combo plate with a burrito and a taco. Beans had no flavor at all. Carne asada was mediocre.
