Spice basil rice ans Chicken pad thai

They give you large portions. We were able to share and go home with leftovers. We got the crab rangoons $9, egg rolls $6, Spice basil fried rice $15, and Chicken pad Thai $15 and everything was spot on. The crab rangoons were packed with filling. The pad thai wasn't fry like others we've had, neither was the rice. The service was great regardless of them being short staffed and having a full dining area they got everything out as quickly as possible. We'll be back

We enjoyed our dinner at 9 Thai. My husband ordered and liked the shrimp fried rice. He had enough to have it for breakfast the next day. I ordered the duck and wanted vegetables. I was told the duck only come with garnish vegetables so we ordered a side of veggies. We had lots of veggies. The duck with honey sauce was nice.

Holy smokes! We were planning on going somewhere else for dinner but a friend found out we were staying in the area for the night so she insisted we tried here. So good. We started out with the veggie rolls. That was refreshing and the peanut sauce was perfectly creamy. The flavor profile for the sauce was exactly how I love it. I think they make the rolls at the start of the night and refrigerate them so the wrapper was really cold. The wrapper they use was thicker than I'm used to for spring rolls. It wasn't bad it was just interesting. Dinner knocked it out of the park. We ordered the crispy salmon pumpkin curry, lemongrass chicken pad thai, and the spicy basil fried rice with basil. The lemongrass chicken pad thai was a basic pad thai dish but they add lemon grass chicken on top and then top it with peanut sauce. It was quite a bit of peanut sauce so if its not your thing I would ask for it on the side. We love peanut sauce so this was delish. Crispy salmon pumpkin curry was my favorite of the 3 dishes we ordered. There was a decent amount of salmon. It was lightly breaded and fried. It was cooked nicely and was in fact really crispy on the outside with moist salmon on the inside kind of like a salmon fish and chip. This was in a dish of bell peppers, onions, broccoli, basil, and pumpkin (which is probably actually kabocha squash). The pumpkin was so soft it would break into the sauce and would coat the rice nicely. I was given the option to choose white or brown rice with this dish, which I thought was a nice to offer. Spicy basil fried rice with pork. This dish is a typical fried rice dish with onion, egg, bell peppers, and larger chunks of pork. The basil flavor was light but present. We ate so much, we didn't have room for dessert and I'm super bummed about this. If you are in the area, highly recommend giving this place a try.

Pad eggplant - my wife loved it, great for veggie cravings

This guy refused to serve me 40min prior to closing. Also I think he makes up prices daily, or he's just skimming.

Great authentic food. Thai tea was sweet and perfect and the green chicken curry was medium spicy just like I asked with a lot of flavor.

A Leap of Taste was one of the few spots open, and after seeing all the great reviews, we decided to give it a try. The ambiance is really cute and cozy -- lots of decor, lighting, and seating that makes it feel welcoming and comfortable. Service was also quick and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered the Green Machine smoothie and a matcha, and both were really good and definitely a highlight of our visit. Where the experience fell a bit short for us was the food. While the presentation was great, the taste didn't quite match expectations. The breakfast tacos listed potatoes, but they ended up being more like tater tots, and the tortillas weren't warm -- my friend wasn't very fond of them. I ordered the #5 sandwich, which was described as being on jalapeño toast, but it came on regular toast instead, along with a pickle on the side. The sandwich itself was okay -- not bad, but something I could easily make at home. For the two drinks and two food items, we paid around $40, which felt a bit high considering the overall food experience. I can see why this place is well-loved by locals -- it fits the neighborhood vibe and likely appeals to the regular crowd -- but as visitors, the food didn't quite live up to the hype for us. Overall, it's a cute spot with great drinks, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. I'd probably come back for beverages, but I'd skip the food next time

This place is super convenient just off the main highway. It's close to the hospital and OIT. The bathrooms are clean and parking is easy. The pastries are always excellent, but they tend to sell out very quickly so plan on getting there early if you want to try one. They do have a few taps and some wine that they serve if you're up for that type of experience. Overall, a very nice stop in a small town and its cozy atmosphere makes it one not to miss. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and were blown away by how fresh everything was. The bread was soft and flavorful, the meat perfectly seasoned, and I loved that they used buttery lettuce instead of the usual sad iceberg--such a small touch, but it made the sandwich feel that much more thoughtful and healthy. Highly recommend stopping here if you're passing through. Whether you're in the mood for a great coffee, a filling bite, or just a relaxing break, this place checks all the boxes. We found it easily and didn't have any issues parking or finding the entrance. We were greeted and seated immediately and had a reasonable amount of time with the menu. I ordered the bacon mac and cheese grilled cheese and my partner and his sister both got the bacon and bacon burger. We also got a pretzel and cheese for the table. The pretzel and cheese came out pretty quick and was great! It wasn't really a pretzel so much as a bread twist but it had great flavor and was soft and fluffy. The cheese had a wonderful flavor. It was a little gritty but it tasted great and there was enough left to dip our entrees in. My sandwich was good but I was hoping for more cheese. It was a little dry, I think the mac and cheese had been baked first. The burgers and fries were also good. We finished with some dessert - lemon cheesecake and a brownie with ice cream. They were both good! The brownie was rich and the ice cream balanced it well. Our bill came out to $88 before tip. We had leftovers and the food was all delicious so it was definitely worth it. We were served basically instantly. It was ready maybe 10 seconds after paying. Regular Plate ($13) - A regular plate comes with two sides and one meat. Meat: Kalua Pork - The pork is decently flavorful and very tender, not dry at all. It's served in a ton of the braising liquid for some reason. The meat tastes mostly good with one major issue - it's way too salty. Like my mouth felt like it was getting desiccated with every bite and I had to chug water afterwards. That's not a pleasant feeling. I wonder if it's because we went near the end of the day and they were picking up the dregs of pork from the bottom of the container? Side 1: Mac Salad - Soft macaroni in a creamy and tangy mayo and apple cider vinegar based sauce. It's peppery and very salty, mixed with small diced fresh carrot and cucumber. The mac salad is a little liquidy given the small pool of water on the bottom. Side 2: Rice - Very, very mushy rice, clearly cooked incorrectly with too much water added, melded together into a ball. It's the only non-salty food item on the dish and is really needed to temper out some of the salt in the pork and mac salad. I mean, the food is fine I guess. Way too salty for my tastes, but I certainly didn't expect to find Hawaiian food in Klamath Falls in the first place.
