Had the place almost to ourselves.

Been here a couple times when we pass through town annually. The food, beer and service is good. Both time we were here an hour before closing on black Friday (this year and last year). While we were there the vibe is chill. Didn't feel rushed at all. -The pizza here is really good. -The fries are bomb. -The prices are great for what you get. This is a solid place and we plan on stopping in every time we are in town.

    Block Drop, very tasty.

I was visiting for a wedding, decided to tour the area the next day. While driving the downtown area on a Sunday, I saw someone pull into the parking lot. I parked as well and walked in and was immediately greeted by the bartender and waitress. They had just opened for the day. Very nice place with appropriate lighting and the music was at a pleasurable volume, for which I really appreciate. This place is huge and much bigger than I thought. I looked at the menu and immediately I wanted to order everything. Overall, I give the menu a 10 due to its uniqueness. I ordered the Shrimp Clam Chowder. It was so good I ordered a second bowl. You shouldn't be disappointed. I do wish it was much hotter, I thought it was just above warm. Still delicious. As you know, the weather here can be a bit depressing when wanting to go out on the town, but guess what? They have indoor corn hole upstairs. I thought that was pretty cool. Additionally, in the summer, they will have music on the patio. This establishment was opened in Sep 2024 and have another establishment in Medford. They have 15 of their own beers on tap, plus 3 imported, but a slew of other beers, claws, and wines. Thanks Block, I loved the place and wish you all the success.

I dined here while on a day trip to the area. The staff promptly greeted and seated me, service was fast and efficient. I ordered the Steep Slope Hazy IPA, which was delicious, and the chicken tacos, per the waitress's recommendation. The beers were affirdable and the tacos were huge. I stayed a while because I was taking a late train out of town and staff happily accommodated me and let me know where there were outlets, if I needed to charge any devices. As some previous reviewers stated, there definitely were some bugs flying around (just a few) but on the ledge behind my seat was a graveyard of dead mosquitoes and dust. I would still definitely return because the staff, food, and beer were all delicious.

Really cute place with lots of areas to sit and enjoy the company you are with. Inside and outside either one has lots of offer for ambiance. Outside has cornhole and an area for kids or space to spread out! The service was ok as you have to use a QR code to order drinks or food. Once ordered on your phone they will bring out to your table. The food was just ok as the chicken tacos had dry thinly cut chicken with no flavor and the sauce was not that great. The Ruben had an ok flavor but the bread was dry and crusty. Beer was ok but nothing I would say I would want to go back to get more.

Scan and order from your phone. I know of places are doing this but this not customer service. Food was quick and good. My mom had to go inside to get us waters. It's a cool place. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor.

Turkey wrap (Half had already disappeared) and a bowl of black bean chili

Sat at the bar on a weekday afternoon. Service was good and the food was great. Per the waitress recommendation I went with a turkey wrap and a bowl of chili. The vibe was lively and fun.

I have been here a few times and am still looking for something that sets it apart. There isn't really any reason to come here over anywhere else. It is mostly self-serve, the beer is fine, and the food is nothing special. I two tacos, which end up being $7 a piece! The chicken is dry. There is a little bit of cabbage that tries to give some moisture, citrus, and crispness. The big issue I have is that I paid $14 for an entree, then went home and needed snack.

We didn't know what all the wing types were and she explained them and the spice level. Helped us get the wings and pizza ordered. We grabbed a beer from the bar before we went to sit on the patio because it's a beautiful day outside. We were the only ones out here and it was peaceful. The wings came out and they were delicious and the ranch that came with it was big. The were crispy, perfectly cooked and mild like it said. The pizza then came out, we got the mama Mia pizza (#9). The bottom has a little crunch, the toppings look/tasted fresh and we were happily full. When the pizza came out the waitress asked us if we wanted ranch and she brought out a whole squirt bottle of it on ice and it was very good ranch. (I like a decent amount of ranch on my pizza especially the crust). 10/10 recommend and when we're back in town, we will definitely be back! So much space for lots of people. Looks like there is entertainment weekend nights and has a very relaxed and nice vibe about it. Look at the picture for the pizza and view in the patio.

Host staff was very hospitable which is always a plus upon arrival. HH was happening when we arrived so we chose the herb dough bites off that menu, along with 2 house chardonnays. Dough bites were underwhelming to say the least. Some were hard and some were soft and chewy. They were served with a grainy Dijon mustard and some sort of an aioli sauce. Marinara sauce would have been more appropriate. On to the entrees. I chose the ahi tuna salad and my hubby went with a basic burger. His opinion ... just a burger. Fries were fresh and yummy. My ahi tuna salad came with passion fruit vinaigrette and unfortunately it was super tart and not good at all. Make sure to have them give you a taste before you commit. I asked for a side of balsamic dressing but unfortunately the passion fruit one was already overwhelming it. I know not to order seafood in bar and grill but I thought I was safe with it incorporated in a salad. My advice ... stick with the basics ... beer and a burger !!!

We went in at dinner time on a Thursday. We were seated right away without a reservation, but you can make one online. I could see them being busy on a weekend or a busier part of the season. There are tables for groups from 2-6. They also had some pinball and other games in the back (as well as some board games in a side room). We didn't find out the ins and outs of the games, but it makes it feel like a place you are welcome to stay at for a while. They had a great kids menu. Our girls both wanted pizza and the observant server recommended they share a pizza because they are not small. It was accurate and kept us from having a whole leftover pizza, even though the prices were reasonable and it would have been a good value. The two adults shared the spicy cauliflower from the appetizer menu and the quesacarnitas tacos. Both were seasoned well, very flavorful, and all around delicious. The cauliflower wasn't super spicy, but it was super tasty so we weren't mad. The place is a brewery but we had cocktails. My husband said it was the best margarita he had on our trip and tasted like it was made with quality ingredients. My Paloma was also good! Overall, we were super pleased with our visit. Gluten free items are marked clearly and there is also a gluten free bun and pizza crust to choose from. Highly recommend before or after a play or a day of shopping in the Main Street area of Ashland.

I also selected a cup of NW clam chowder. The chowder arrived after a few and it was pretty good. The rest of the food took the entire first half of the World Cup match to emerge from the kitchen. Our server was apologetic, but it just was not crowded. I had a good view of the kitchen and the 2 guys back there were very relaxed, not hurried at all. The Mack cheese was not really Mac n cheese but more like buttered O'Dells with some cheese added later. Brussels sprouts were great. My tacos were not so good. The rice and beans were tasteless even though I loaded up on the cholula. Rice had some cheese slices mixed in. Somehow they failed to melt. The corn tortillas were 3.5" in diameter, which is really small for those of you who are dimensionally challenged. I had to deconstruct them and make 4 smaller tacos. The fish (tasteless) was not fried nor really blackened. The spouses bowl was completely unlike the photo on the table tent. The ingredients also differed, most significantly the lack of beans. The server was working hard, as he appeared to be alone in his pursuits, although there was another guy bussing tables. We only selected the Ram because it was open after 9pm and many places in Medford were not. We will not be returning, regardless of the time of night.
