This restaurant has been in Klamath Falls forever. The food 50 yrs ago was better, or maybe I didn't know any better. The young woman who waited our table was excellent with a great sense of humor. Now to the food, the hot and sour soup, was just average, but very spicy with lots of chicken and tofu. The sesame chicken was delicious! Now about the Szechuan beef, probably the worst I've ever encountered. The beef was flavorless, and so tough I couldn't chew it(and I have a mouth full of gold crowns) ! Cooked in way too much oil and little else other than onions. So bad I couldn't eat it, I had her box it up and I threw it away when I got back to the motel. Wish this could have been a better review, because my memory was way better than it really was.

Wong's! Pros- - Immediate friendly greeting and seating with menus. The waitress (Yumi) was super friendly, not only with us but other tables as well. Joking and very engaging. - Drink order taken right away and delivered within a minute or two. - Menu offered a good selection. - Nice, clean interior. A bit dated but well maintained. - Food order taken as soon as the drinks were brought. Food was brought to the table in 13 minutes. - Great location, right in downtown Klamath Falls. - Yumi gave us some great ideas for things to do in the area. - Gave us plates and silverware for the leftovers. Cons- - Other than the restaurant being a bit dated. Hard to mark them down for this because it was nicely decorated and maintained. What we ordered- - Combination appetizer to share. Tasty! - Wong's LoMein (minus the broccoli- hubby doesn't like it)to share. Very good and tasty! Overall- Very nice visit. Would I return? You bet!

Last night, my younger son at OIT and I were missing having food with rice (we're from Hawaii) so we decided to find a Chinese restaurant nearby. Wong's Cafe looks great so we decided to try it out. Mrs. Wong was helpful with customers and nice to talk with. Always quick with ice cold water and refill of hot tea if needed. It was a nice cozy place to dine in but I can see they're also busy with takeout. The food was delicious and I can see why they're busy with takeout. Her husband, Mr. Wong, was busy cooking up the orders of the day.

I've never eaten at the restaurant, but love ordering here to go. The orange chicken is so crispy, crunchy, and flavorful - the texture I want when I'm looking for good orange chicken. The fried rice is yummy as well with great flavor. If I'm ordering takeout Chinese in Klamath I go to Wong's

Meh. Read the reviews and went to check it out an hour before closing. All the comments about great service are misleading. My service was terrible. Took forever to take my order. Passed me by several times to get a to go box and my bill. Food was average. Very small pieces of meat in both my dishes. The Chow Mein was all onions and bean sprouts and lacked any favor. The fried rice was drowned in soy sauce and again with the tiny pieces of meat. This is not the Chinese food you think of when you go to a restaurant. It's the kind you get at a mall.

Came back for week 2, sweet and sour chicken still amazing . Had small hot & sour soup, large last time a little too large, small size hit the spot.

Unfortunately after wanting to try Wong's for a while once we did it was not very good. The egg foo young tasted like a frozen product and was gummy in a packaged brown gravy. An old and funky place...super cool 1950's looking signage on Main Street. Maybe we came on an off night but probably won't try again.

Food and service was good. The establishment is located on Main Street and is in an older building that has character.

We ordered the crispy pork belly with sticky rice, drunken noodles, and the fish with tomato sauce served with jasmine rice. The first dish, the crispy pork belly with sticky rice, was a mixed experience. The sticky rice was soft and delicious, just like homemade. However, the pork belly didn't seem very fresh. It had an unpleasant smell, almost like the meat was starting to spoil. Next were the drunken noodles. The flat noodles were rubbery and tasted like they had been left out too long and had dried out. The zucchini was bitter, and the only part of the dish that tasted good was the carrot. The last dish was the fish with tomato sauce and jasmine rice. The jasmine rice had a slight brown tint instead of the bright white color you would expect from freshly cooked rice. It looked and smelled like it had been sitting in the rice cooker for far too long. On a positive note, the fish itself was the best part of the entire meal. It was flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, the outstanding customer service wasn't enough to make up for the disappointing food quality. Based on this experience, I probably won't be returning.

It came out fairly quickly and was delivered by the robot as well as the woman who took my order. First of all the pancakes were the best I have ever seen at any Asian restaurant ever!!!! they were hot, thin, delicate, but strong and tasted great. The Moo Shu mixture itself was fine; however, no sauce was provided. I've never had that experience. Always before either plum sauce or hoisin sauce has been provided and it makes the dish wonderful. I would've asked for hoisin sauce, but I never saw my server again. She never came back to check on me until it was time to pay the bill. I am going to go back and give it another try but this time when I placed my order, I am going to specify that I would like hoisin sauce. If I were going to recommend any improvement for this restaurant, it would be that the server is more friendly and checks in on you a few minutes after serving you to ask if you need anything else so that you can fully enjoy your meal.
