But life is short, and with so many far superior options out there in Los Angeles, suffice it to say that all my peers have the warning never to work with Zev or his 'team' again. The unfortunate thing about a lot of so-called 'professional' private car services is - these 'drivers' are not employees. They are independent sub-contractors with their own cars, their own standards, and their own egos. Zev hires primarily Middle Eastern nationality drivers. This is simply the truth. So language SOMETIMES was a barrier. Lack of knowledge of Los Angeles sometimes was a challenge. RULES OF THE ROAD were absolutely a challenge... And then we have the final ride with "ART" who decided to handle my request to 'NOT TEXT WHILE DRIVING' as an invitation to become the worst version of himself and YELL, THREATEN, and use profanity - while terrorizing his 'client' by declaring they would refuse to deliver me to the airport (and therefore miss my flight) UNTIL I APOLOGIZED for ordering him not to text and drive.
