We recently purchased a home that just needed a lot of love and was neglected. As a result it needed the attic cleaned out disinfected re-insulated, and new ductwork we receive several bids but 911 attic insulation provided the best bid and the best customer service and we highly recommend them. From the moment that they came to our home to confirm an estimate they were amazing. Jack was so kind and very informative he answered all our questions and explain the process and just provided very detailed customer service and we got really good energy from him from the moment that we met him . Two weeks later the workers came out and begin the cleaning process of the attic it took one day they started at 8:30 AM and finished at 5 PM and they took pictures and showed us every step of the way. Upon arrival they covered up our home and protected our surfaces before they started cleaning out the attic once it was clean they showed us pictures of The attic cleared out. Then they begin to disinfect and rodent proof the attic and then showed us pictures of that. Finally they insulated and completed the ductwork and showed us pictures and we were in the attic to check ourselves of the final work. The work was done very top notch and very thorough the workers really worked hard and did a great job . They also had to go into our garage and remove the insulation clean and disinfect, and RE-insulted the furnace and as a kind gesture they also clean and wipe down our water heater as well that was located in the garage and disinfected. I cannot recommend this company enough during this process we've had to use a lot of vendors for a lot of work that needed to be done on this new home we purchased and not all of them have been great. 911 attic insulation was excellent and we highly recommend them they are a great company to use if you need insulation attic cleaning or ductwork. read more

Joe and Nick were both great to work with and made the whole process easy and stress-free. They charge $180 per duct that needs to be replaced, but Joe worked with me to get the best possible deal. I have been looking to get some attic insulation replacement, but it kept slipping my mind. Until one day that I heard noises at night and went up to take a look. The rat got into my attic and start to destroying everything up there. I was able to take one of the entrance, but still the damage is done. The original owner was using the loose fill and they replaced the roof which have some debris dropped in the attic including the rat poops; the loose fill was turning black with dust and sinking as well. I started to look for several contractors to remove and replace the insulation because the damage is pretty severe. Jack was there to take a look and give us the estimate; he explained everything when we asked all the questions. Joe is very helpful as well when we have more questions after. We finally settled with 911 Attic company to have the job done. Crews came in in the morning and sealed the hallway to the attic access. Everything was taken out including the air duct that needs replacement due to damage. With in one day, the job was done. Even though it was very hot that day and the attic must have been scorching hot, they did not back down and worked very hard. I was impressed that they were able to handle the job well. We did go up and check the work done as well and found some areas that didn't meet our expectation. Joe is very responsive when we contacted him and the crew came out to take care of everything. You CANNOT go wrong with 911 Attic Insulation! We had an ongoing HVAC issue in our home which lasted three months. Through the course of it we found the original, 27 year old insulation in our attic was basically turning into dust. Having gone through such an ordeal getting the insulation in our home done ASAP was a crucial part of being able to do the next steps of the process. When we ran into some issues with the project because of my poor description of the scope of the work Joe worked with me to find an amicable solution which didn't break the bank even though he would have been solidly in his rights to hold me over a barrel on dramatically increased scope of the project. The guys who showed up did an absolutely fantastic job of replacing the insulation, rodent proofing the attic, cleaning, and sterilizing the area and they work CLEAN! Based on many of the other contractors with whom I recently worked my expectation was that once done my house would be filled with tiny pieces of fiberglass, dust, and who knows what else but they put up plastic around their work area, on the floors, and cleaned up any little tiny piece. Last week (several weeks after the job was done) I noticed some of the sealing around a recessed light pushed it a bit out of place. I emailed Joe asking for his guys to come out when they are in the area and adjust it and he responded the same day. You can't beat this service. These guys are great! We were looking to replace the meager insulation in our 1200 square foot attic and called a couple of places for quotes. The first people I talked to acted like they were selling me a car and I just don't like that sales technique. Daniel and Joe from 911 came over a couple of days later and they impressed me by explaining exactly what they would do and didn't play any car dealer games with the pricing. Their price was fair and a few bucks less than the other guys. I hired them on the spot. Later that day (the Friday before Labor Day), Daniel called to see if the following Tuesday was OK for installation. I wasn't expecting it so quickly! On installation day, Daniel, Joe, and their crew got to work. They taped up the hallway with plastic to keep any stray insulation from getting into the house. Except for when they were using the big industrial vacuum to take out the old cellulose insulation, there was much less noise then I thought there would be. In addition to installing the R38 fiberglass batts, they sealed the gaps around all of the vents, electrical boxes, and canister lights. They also looked under the house to make sure all of the screens were intact. They started work around 9:00 am and were done by 4:00 pm. Sure, they are a small company. But I felt that they were honest about the pricing and the scope of work. They were fast, clean, and they did a good job. If I had the chance, I would hire them again. read more

I WOULD recommend this business. They added blow-in insulation to my small amount of existing insulation, and put in an exhaust fan, as promised, in the attic of my Pilates studio. Unfortunately, the vent-screen leading to the outside where the exhaust fan expels the hot air was extremely dirty, which was discovered AFTER the job was finished. I called to tell them the room was not cooling off sufficiently, due to the dirty vent (I assumed), and a technician (specifically, Manuel), was dispatched a few days after the job was done to clean the vent. It needed cleaning inside and out so the exhaust fan could blow hot air out of the attic more efficiently. He not only crawled up into the HOT attic, removed the fan, thoroughly cleaned the screen, but also added some batting insulation to block the fan from sucking in dust from the blown-in insulation, replaced the exhaust fan, cleaned the outside of the structure, and made sure my studio was thoroughly cleaned up. It looked as though no one had been in the room! The room now cools off nicely, the insulation works, and the exhaust fan can now do its job of sucking the hot air out of the attic. This summer we struggled with keeping our house cool. At first I thought there is something wrong with our A/C system, but after a check by a professional we started to realized it is had to do with our insulation. To be honest we didn't do any work in our attic for the last 10 years. I did some research and got quotes from few different companies. We put off going forward because we decided to do roofing work first, and I very much appreciated that Joe didn't try to nudge us about it. From the outset Joe was a great communicator and gave us a competitive quote. We actually got 4 different quotes in and Joe was easily the cheapest and was also the only one who knew about current rebates from LADWP. On the day of the installation, Joe and his team arrived on time and installed all the insulation within a few hours. They laid down plastic sheeting and were super clean and efficient. After my roof replacement,the chaotic attic space needs a fresh clean up and update with insulation and air duct replacements. 911 Attic Insulation came out very reasonably quoted with clearly itemized costings. I've also requested to have a new air duct added to the sun room which turned out to be quite a bit of works. 911 Attic insulation has been very accommodating in my schedule change requests. On the first day, they arrive promptly and have all the old material removed. Installation with R38 fiberglass and a mixed of R-8 and R-21 flexible air ducts took about a day and a half to complete. The job overall is well done. There's some mishaps during the process. But, the owner took the time to have it mitigated. Nick, project manager, inspected my attic and gave me a written estimate. I appreciated the warranties on labor, insulation and rodent proofing. They installed an attic fan, sealed all the open areas with foam, sanitized the attic, and they hauled away the old debris. They were very neat and picked up their materials and equipment.
