We had a new garage door installed by The Right Way Garage Doors. Our technician, Alex was courteous and did a good job installing the new door. However, my overall experience was very disappointing. This installation ended up being our 3rd appt. because the door wasn't received on time. While delays can happen, what disappointed me most was the condition the project was left in. After the installation, Alex pointed out a noticeable gap at the bottom right corner of the garage door and explained that it was due to our uneven driveway and that there was nothing they could do. The problem is that we didn't have this issue with our previous garage door. With the new door, the gap is large enough that rodents could easily get inside the garage. I understand that an uneven driveway can create challenges, but I expected better customer service and a greater effort to find a solution. For example, offering a thicker bottom seal, a larger bulb seal, a multi-layer seal, or another adjustment to help minimize the gap would have shown that the company cared about delivering a finished product, not just completing the installation. In my opinion, a job isn't truly complete if there's an obvious problem that affects the function of the door. The new garage door should look and perform at least as well as the old one, but unfortunately, it actually looks worse because of the large gap. I appreciate Alex's installation work, but I'm disappointed that no effort was made to address the issue or offer possible solutions. Right way van back left tire came within a few inches of my left foot. What's worse? The guy wouldn't move the van for what seemed like a long time. 2 minutes plus. Instead of apologizing and rolling forward to a gas pump, he sat there. I told him he almost hit me. He didn't care. Instead of care, this potential future female customer was treated poorly. tldr: make sure you check other company and get other estimates to compare because Right Way Garage Doors estimate is the highest by ~40% than other company. We are shopping for a new garage door for our renovation project and saw that Costco has an offer for some Costco cash card if we go through them. We have been looking for Amarr brand and that was exactly what Costco offered, so I filled out the form and Right Way Garage Doors contacted me to schedule an estimate. I told them I can't be there but since the jobsite is under construction, they can come and there will always be someone there working. They sent me an estimate that is ~40% more than other estimate(theirs is $49xx and other company for the exact same items is $35xx). I was told they can match if I show them the other local estimates, so I sent them the other estimate I had. He confirmed it was for the exact same item but they said the price is too low and that he'll call me back the next day. In the morning I received a copy of the customer recap form and the answer they put in there is very rude and not truthful. I texted and called him to give him a chance to redeem himself, but he's just gone. So, the reason why we don't purchase the garage door from them: their price is so high even if you get the Costco card, the price from other place is still cheaper by a lot. Had issues with my garage door not closing properly and had one of their technicians come over to inspect and try to figure out what was wrong. He didn't seem to quite know what was the root cause of the issue but charged me the standard labor rate and ensured me that if anything was still wrong, it was covered by the 30 day labor warranty. Made some adjustments to the garage door and lubricated the wheels and the issue seemed fix, until a few days later the issue came back. They suspected a part in the garage door opener might need to be replaced. I get the part from List Master, and ask if they can install it under labor warranty. They say "no" and would have to charge me full price for labor, even though it's been less than 30 days. TLDR: Their 30 day labor warranty is BS. It should be called "Wrong Way" Garage Doors. Had them installed a new garage door less than 10 years ago and also had them followed last couple of years to replace springs. Use a new Garage Door maintenance company and technician immediate notice several important omissions by RW in its door. First, there was no handle for the garage door for manual opening (safety requirement). Second, there were no struts installed to support the heavy door (required). Third, the door was going against an incline instead of being leveled. There were several other things that the technician noticed and he was very surprised that the door was installed by RW and that the follow up RW technicians did not say anything after subsequent visits post installation. I guess they were all complicit in keeping the consumer in the dark for their shoddy work. read more

I had absolutely the worst experience with this company. I called them to replace our garage door opener through Costco. We received a proposal from the company's sales specialist to install new garage door opener promptly. We also received proposals from a couple of other vendors. RW quoted prices for three different options. Their prices were 40% to 50% higher than the other quotes that we had received. As we were going through the due deligence received a follow up text from the company. It looked like an ai generated communication. We expressed our concern about their higher prices. They convinced that they supposedly use better quality products and their installation services were superior to others. They offered to send a technician out for us to make a decision. An appointment was set for March 10th. Manny came out to our place. He explained about our options and convinced us that although we will be paying more than the competition, it will be worth their product and workmanship. By the way Manny came across as honest and straight forward. We decided to go with the company, as we were also expecting a Costco shop card, reducing our cost, but still about $200 more than the competition. The following week I called the company to find out what is the process for getting the Costco shop card. Spoke with Julie, who told us that we were not eligible for the card as our appointment was set up as expedited appointment. Not true. I took the very first appointment that was given to time. She said she will talk to Corey Griffin and will get back to me. More than a week goes by and no update. So I called the company to reach Corey. Left several messages for him with no response. After almost 10 days, finally connected with Corey. He had the audacity to tell me ours was not a Costco job and therefore we were not eligible for the shop card. HIs proposal in the subject line says Costco garage door opener. He started his e mail saying how they are proud to participate in Costco program. He said our call was not through Costco. Not correct. What he offered to do after my conversation totally floored me. He said he can run my job as Costco job, charge me more than what I already paid and then issue a shop card. Costco is known for their superior products at a reasonable prices. I doubt that vendors who work with Costco charge more for their products than if you were to go directly to the vendors. I doubt Costco is aware of RW's practice. At that point, I wanted to talk to Corey's manager to resolve this issue. Called several times, but the managers were always in a meeting. At this point I thought I had explored all my options with the company and the only option I had was to given them a bad review. Out of the blue, I received an e mail from Corey telling me that they were going to run my job as Costco job and that all the paperwork will be e mailed to me. I received the paperwork, signed it and send it back ten days ago. Followed to get an update about the card. Got the same run around. Finally, today, I was told that the paperwork was uploaded to Costco last night. Will wait to see what happens. In conclusion, this company has shown total incompetence and unscrupulousness. Incompetence and unscrupulousness are a lethal combination. I would avoid this company. read more

Purchase a garage door from RW garage back in July of 2025, I've had to call them twice already for repairs, the receptionist didn't care that my garage door was having issues. The first call I made the garage door wouldn't go down, when I told Julie what the problem was she said we don't have any available appointments, I told her my garage door won't go down. Julie found someone to come out to repair the door, but had a little attitude when making the appointment. The second time the garage door broke, one side went down the other side stayed up. I called to have someone come out. Of course Julie answer the phone again, ask if someone can some repair the door, there was no available appointments, so I had to go to sleep with my garage half way open, cause per Julie there were no available appointments. Mind you the garage door was barely a month old. Today January 7, 2026, I called again because my garage door has this beeping noise when I close/open the door, and the light stop working, I tried to trouble shoot the issue before calling RW garage, because Julie seems to be the only person that answers the phone, and she have that I don't care what kind of problem you are having with your garage door attitude. So I told her what problem I was having, she told me that the battery only last a year or two, and to go to Home Depot or Lowes and purchase a battery, mind you my garage door is not even a year old yet. I spent several thousand dollars on that garage door, and I've had nothing but problems and Julie non-caring ass attitude answering the damn phone.
