I am so impressed with this company! In March, Benny came out and worked on my mom's front door knob. He ended up adjusting three different doors that weren't closing right. He did such a good job and was so fast, professional, and kind. I called him to my house today. He replaced 3 door knobs and and adjusted how the front door closed. Have used them twice and each time the locksmith who arrived (each leaving immediately after my call) was courteous, professional, and efficient. One of them went out of his way to help me find my lost keys, offering me a flashlight to peer into the trunk from the backseat and even helping me look around my dusty garage where I had said I might have dropped it and then consoling me when I couldn't find them by reassuring me that people do this every day. Very nice. The other was a bit distressed about being 10-15 minutes later than he had said (but I know that traffic on a Friday to my house, on the outskirts of Dallas, can be horrendous, so I had expected it), showing that immediate service and punctuality was important to him. Yesterday, I was in Dallas to have lunch with a friend before heading back home to Austin. I had locked my keys in my car but didn't realize it until it was time to leave. We "googled" a lock smith and 911 Locksmith and Security came up. We called and were connected to someone who could help me immediately. My only complaint is that it took almost an hour for the guy to show up. Not a huge deal, obviously, he was at another job and had to get to us as soon as he was finished but I was really ready to get back on the road to Austin asap. The guy was very friendly. I was told someone would arrive later in the day to help us. I called again at 1:30 to confirm and was reassured that help was on its way. In my old house, my dog destroyed a doorknob in a home I was renting. I wanted my deposit back, so not only did I have to replace the doorknob, but I had to re-key the lock to match the others. 911 Locksmith came out take care of that for me. I went to see Batman last night in Plano and the movie was great !!! (but that's not why I'm writing....) we went out to my car and.... The keys are inside !!! My friend had triple A so we called them, but we got an eta of hour to hour and half and we still need to pay (she didn't pay the membership...). So we called a locksmith. The first company didn't even gave us a price! "The tech will let you know when he gets there..." I know this trick already. The seconded company we called say they can be there in two hours! Then we got 911locksmith, they gave us an exact estimate over the phone and the tech was there within 22 min on the clock! He was very polite and helpfull and got it open very fast and professionally. The price was reasonable ($65 at 11pm). Why four stars then? They didn't told me I can't pay with a check... Only cash or credit. I saved their number on phone, but I hope I won't need them again.... read more

Extremely professional (after other companies wouldn't even consider giving us an upfront price, this was so refreshing) and prompt to reply (and conveniently by message to get things in writing knowing others often quote one thing and then charge something completely different when they get there.) Caution, though, their voice mail mentioned they were not doing emergency lockout services "at this time"? Not sure about what that truly means - it may have been the time of day or day of werk I first called, etc., but if you can wait DEFINITELY do it. read more

I called this company because they got good reviews. I initially called on Monday morning, leaving a detailed message with my contact info. Their outgoing message said they were unable to take emergency calls. My need was not an emergency; however, I did not want to wait several days to receive service. 24 hours passed...no return phone call. On Tuesday morning, I left another message. Now, it's Wednesday afternoon and I never received a return phone call. I have been in a customer service business for over 40 years. This is the epitome of very poor service. If they were too busy to take on any more jobs, they could have at least called and told me that so I could have contacted another locksmith. I just found these guys through Google and they are awesome. I needed 2 locks rekeyed and they gave me the best rate (I called 4 other companies before deciding to go with 911). They also were very prompt to the point of being 10 minutes early. He was finished in 20 minutes and even fixed the back lock which was not aligned properly.
