Pro: The only company that would come out on the 4th of July to fix our water heater. Con: charged $150 for the "holiday visit" and the technicians weren't able to diagnose or fix the problem (though they were able to temporarily relight the pilot). Called back the next day (a Sunday) to ask if they could come back to be told it would be another $150 charge. Asked if that fee would be waived given there was no resolution from the last visit, and the dispatcher said she didn't have access to the system to know who came to our house. Not helpful. Day 3 w/o hot water, and will spend the morning calling other companies. read more

My boyfriend and I will absolutely be using this company again, for our plumbing needs! Had an emergency plumbing issue at 4AM on a Sunday morning (dripping, waterlogged ceiling) and after spending the early morning hours contacting over a dozen 24hr plumbers, to no avail, 911 Plumbing got back to me ASAP (before 7AM) and was able to get someone to my house within 2hrs! The only other company that got back to me on a Sunday morning ETA'd 4-6hrs to get someone to my house. Our plumber was professional, intelligent, communicative and SUPER THOROUGH; he went through EVERY possible option and every level of the house, every bathroom, pipe and otherwise to find the leak, before resulting to the worst case scenario of opening our ceiling. But, once he did he was able to find the issue, fix and sufficiently explain what had gone wrong. I also appreciated that he was totally transparent about the cost of things, before he took action. I've seen some people complain in the reviews regarding the $150 house call fee, for me it was totally worth it to get someone competent and quick to come solve our leak... and considering the amount of time he dedicated to locate exactly what was causing the leak, the man hours alone make the $150 worth it. read more

I can't say how good their work is because I won't be using them. However I can say that I think the person who I talked to on the phone was more concerned about getting the weekend service call fee than actually helping me with my problem and earning a loyal customer. My family came home Saturday afternoon to no hot water, and with a wife and 2 young girls expecting to take showers, I was in a bind. I saw that the hot water tank was standing in water and was not warm, so I shut everything off and started making calls. None of the local water heater service companies had anyone who could help right away, except 911 Plumbing Services. I explained the problem - no heat, standing water, leaky tank. He explained it was a 50/50 shot it could be fixed tonight, otherwise they would come back the next day, and there was a flat $175 fee. I understood - there was a chance I could save the day for my family so I took it. The guy who showed up (Vic) was very nice, however he took one look at the water heater and said it would need to be replaced. He didn't need to take anything apart, diagnose anything, or run any tests - it was clear BECAUSE OF THE LEAK AND STANDING WATER that the tank was shot. I had explained those two things over the phone to the guy, yet all he wrote in the dispatch order to Vic was 'tank not working'. I could tell Vic felt bad and he did his best to be diplomatic, but it was very clear he should not have been sent out - it was a waste of eveyone's time and my money. Again - I understand weekend/after-hours service fees, and that there is no guarantee of things being fixable. But I gave detailed descriptions of the problem to the person on the phone, and now I know those descriptions clearly describe a tank in need of replacement - so to send someone out anyway when there is no chance of them fixing the problem seems really shady to me. Vic took $50 off the service call fee, which I appreciated, but in the end we paid $125 for under a minute of diagnosis, and 5 minutes of apologizing and writing up the invoice. Not cool. read more

I don't recommend using them for water heater repair as I was fooled by the all the 5-star reviews and Yelp voucher deal. Our water heater was not working so we decided to give 911 plumbing a shot since they offered a yelp deal and had 5-star reviews. We also had a few leaky faucets so we thought we should get those fixed. Husband called Saturday morning and they said they charge extra to come out on the weekends so we waited until Monday. The technician came and it took him awhile to diagnose the problem and didn't know exactly what parts to repair so he ordered 2 parts hoping either/both would work. When they came several days later it took him a long time to fix it - at least over 1.5 hours. We got the sense he didn't know what he was doing. I'm skeptical to use this company again because it looks like they wrote the amount down but since we presented the Yelp voucher he changed the initial amount to make it $50 higher than what he wrote, less the $50 voucher, and we ended up paying what he put on the first line item. Not only did we feel overcharged, the water heater broke again a week later. We went with another plumbing company to fix the underlying issue and they replaced the parts that 911 Plumbing ordered. The new company charged us a fraction of what 911 Plumbing cost. Although customer service was nice throughout and they did replace our leaky faucets, I can't justify giving more stars based on my experience. read more

I was facing the biggest plumbing job there is, a full replacement of the sewer line. I am so thrilled I chose 911 Plumbing Services for the job. First they helped me diagnose the problem, and explain it in a way I could present to my insurance adjuster. Both Kathy in the office and George the foreman helped create a price estimate for my insurance company, and worked with me to satisfy the adjuster. The real heroes of my experience were Vic Bezatyan and his crew. They were professional, courteous, and very hard working. When Vic's crew encountered extreme difficulty because of how dense the dirt was on my property, they overcame it, while still staying within the agree upon cost. When I saw my front yard returned exactly the way it had been before they started, I was amazed! It was necessary to dig a hole in my front yard to access the sewer line, but Vic and his crew returned my yard to the exact condition it was in before they started. Great service! I had an emergency after 7 pm - my guest house's shower stop draining, and flooded into the bathroom's floor. I called 911 plumbing number and talked to Greg on the phone. He clearly stated the possible cost for the after hours visit and gave me a time window for the tech arrival. Mike and Sam arrived before the expected time. They always handled themselves with great attitudes. They used the "snake", but they could not find anything, and the shower draining problem was fine by now. They were very kind to give me a break in the fee. I'll call them again next time I have a plumbing need. Another emergency 4-1-17 Greg came early in the morning for a clogged toilet of the guest house. He had to work hard to get it unclogged and finally did with great pleasant attitude and a fair price. The existing faucets were rusted on and they managed to get them off with out any damage to the sink. Unfortunate the new faucet was to big for the sink. Kathy was helpful in setting my appointment and dispatching the plumbers to clear the drain at one of our offices. She gave me updates as to when they would arrive to clear up our issues along the way as well. They quickly cleared the drain and repaired a leaky pipe too. I can't say enough good things about Jack and his team! I just moved into my new home and was faced with some extensive plumbing issues. They spent 2 separate weekends problem solving and installing clean outs in the front of my house. If you have an older home, the pipes can just deteriorate over time and need replacement, and you definitely want someone who knows what they're doing. They started at 10am and ended at 11pm, were there for the day in the blazing heat making sure everything was going to be alright with my house. And I really appreciated that. Today was my second time using 911 Plumbing. Vic came out the same day I called and he and his assistant were awesome. When I called in the morning I was given a window of when they might arrive, and they actually came at the beginning of that window (when does that EVER happen?!). Unfortunately I was taken a little bit by surprise because I assumed they would show up later, so I was still at work. Kathy at their call center was very understanding and accommodated my tardiness, which I realize most companies probably wouldn't have done. I am very grateful! The work was done quickly and efficiently and their rates are very reasonable. I also want to point out how friendly they are. I sometimes feel a little weird having contractors in my home, but both times the plumbers that came were very friendly and professional, which makes me feel very comfortable having them in my home. Vic was awesome! We had some plumbing issues with our toilets & showers since we started remodeling another one of the bathrooms in the house. So tonight around 9 pm it got more serious and we needed a plumber out ASAP. Found this company on Yelp & they said they can send someone in 20 minutes. Vic showed up promptly & was super professional. He did everything he needed to do to get everything cleared in no time. I had a great experience with 911 Plumbing from start to finish. My tub was draining really slowly (thanks to my long hair clogging up the pipes) so I called and spoke with Greg to make the appointment. Greg was helpful and friendly. He explained that they schedule their appointments within 3-hour arrival time slots (i.e. 12pm - 3pm) and he offered to give me a call 30-minutes in advance of the technicians' arrival so I wouldn't have to wait at home for the whole 3 hours. The techs who came to help me out were Vic and Sam. They were courteous and friendly, and they even brought shoe covers to wear inside my home! They worked efficiently and neatly to unclog the drain and they left the tub cleaner than they found it! When they were done, they asked me to check how the tub was draining and whether I was satisfied with their work; and I was. Thanks to Vic and Sam, I don't have to hear my husband complain about showering in a pond anymore! Lol! I hope I don't have any more plumbing issues, but if I do, I'd be happy to call these guys again. read more

Greg and Sam did a very thorough and fair priced job on my backed up plumbing. They have come to my 3 unit building several times and have done a great job. I have also had Mike and Abel most recently and they also did a wonderful job of fixing my blocked up garbage disposal. This is a very honest company on the whole with very good, polite technicians that work there. They are so honest that they even turned down work on my tankless water heater b/c at that time they said they weren't experts in that field. I appreciated that full disclosure so much. There are not enough words to describe what a terrible experience we had with one of the technicians from 911 Plumbing. He was rude from the moment he arrived, didn't take apart any line to investigate the issues, and promptly blamed us for all the plumbing issues taking place in our condo. He refused to address the black sewage seeping up from our drains. He appeared intent on helping the hoa, who hired 911 plumbing, to potentially avoid liability for any of the plumbing issues that are actually being caused by our building mainline not being properly serviced. The technician refused to speak to me and wouldn't even acknowledge me when I spoke to him. He attempted to gaslight us about the issues and told us we should believe him bc he's a plumber. It was an absolute sh*t show. The second tech was silent the whole time and is not to blame. When I called to complain, the receptionist had already been briefed by the rude technician, and promptly spoke over me while defending the technician. She didn't want to hear what I had to say and seemed very eager to ignore my side and blindly accept the technicians version of events. It had been some time since I gave 911 plumbing a five star review so I wasn't too concerned when I chose them to replace my 10 year old water heater that made a loud noise and them stopped working. This happened on a Sunday and since the unit is in a closet inside the house I was worried that it might choose to unload 40 gallons of water onto our floors. Sure enough one of their crew (Art) came out that same day, emptied the heater and diagnosed the problem. He vowed to return in two days (the next day was Labor Day). Sam accompanied him and they replaced my unit with a new one in a few hours of hard and heavy lifting. I thought the overall charges were high but learned later from friends that I had, indeed, got a bargain. I forgot how much new heaters actually cost. Both Art and Sam were highly professional and made short work of a difficult replacement.
