I am so surprised at myself that I haven't done a Yelp review on this quick, efficient, helpful service called 911 Plumbing. The name speaks on its own. This review is a bit overdue. Since our old plumber didn't know anything about fixing/repairing things that are not working properly, I had to look around and found this company. This is a family owned business that has been around for over 30 years. They specialize in fixing sinks, toilets, drain stoppers, main line stoppers, garbage disposals, dishwashers, kitchen water lines, and more.. I used this company twice before. Once for my sink's garbage disposal, and the other time was for the sinks in both of my bathrooms. My landlord bought this cheap faucet that they use at fast food chain restaurants, and didn't do anything with the valve or the damages, that was caused by the leaks that literally became to be a lake in both bathrooms. My cleaning supplies, toilet papers, paper towels that I keep under my sink were SO wet along with both floors. The job that those 2 guys did in an hour and a half, took my old plumber to do in 5 hours and was still not fixed. It was like putting a band-aid on a wound. The process was so fast, seamless, and professional.. I am so grateful that I found this plumbing company that did an exceptional, excellent job for both my bathrooms, and my garbage disposal in my kitchen. Since my landlord didn't want to pay for it, we paid $800.00 out of pocket and I deducted from our rent. It was a mess, now everything is fixed, looks nice and clean. Shout out to their secretary too. She gave us an estimated time and date and both guys were in front of my door 10 minutes prior. 10/10. Open 24/7 for our convenience.. Tony & Vic were the MVPs tonight when my apartment complex with intertwined piping (?) had issues ranging from water leaking from ceiling to a clogged bathtub. Something something Overflow brass, mentioned ABS standard piping inside ceiling new (relief!) then stated there was Galvanized cast iron (?) At the end all I know is they told me they did some things they didn't charge for, tenant was happy (even giving me a hug bye and wished me a safe drive) and I left the premises by midnight with just enough energy to stop for some LA street tacos after. Whole job done in less than 3 hours ! Given I called at 9pm and they were done by 12am with some time in between waiting for tenants to allow entry, no doubt will be calling them in the future !! I called the team at 911 Plumbing with my issue, they quickly dispatched Vic and a teammate to diagnose the situation[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Vic and his teammate spent a couple hours dissembling the Flo System and were able to resolve the problem. They reinstalled the Flo System and water was immediately restored. My call was considered an "Emergency Visit" as it was not schedule. The Emergency fee and the labor cost were reasonable in my opinion. Great experience overall, I got 3 quotes and they were the cheapest, but they did pretty decent work. I had both my bathrooms changed from the old 3 knob shower to a more modern single knob shower thingy, plus updating the waste disposal piping/internals. Although the base quotes and labor was cheap, I did ask for some custom stuff which cost extra, and I think they put quite a big markup on them. For example, I wanted brushed nickel finish on my shower fixtures and drains and it cost $360. I looked at Home Depot and it was much less than that for that kind of stuff. Other than that, the technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The thing that stands out the most about them was their dedication and their customer service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was having my shower valves and waste disposal replaced but also wanted to reglaze my tub. Long story short, something happened with that reglazing company that might've flooded my downstairs neighbor and [[HIGHLIGHT]]Greg hopped on a call with me late at night and talked me through how to check if everything was ok. Greg and one of his technicians just left my home and did an incredible job snaking a really bad build up that caused my kitchen sink to back-up. I had originally called another company out to do a snake job, and not only were they more expensive, they couldn't get the job done and advised me to do hydro-jetting that would cost nearly 1K. I talked with Greg, and he assured me that he would not charge me for the snake job if it did not fix it. Bear Plumbing had fixed the kitchen faucet twice in a week, including yesterday. Today, the dishwasher connected to the same faucet, flooded the kitchen and basement because the "fix" broke. So I had no water to the house because I had to shut off the main to stop the flooding. American Home Shield, the insurance company, was very good. They told me to go ahead and find someone who could fix the problem on this Friday afternoon of the Christmas holiday weekend. I found 911 through Yelp. Kathy, the dispatcher, said she'd call right back. They did a terrific job. Today, Art and Tony came to replace my broken kitchen sink faucet. They discovered that the cold water valve under the sink also leaked. They turned off the water to the house, replaced everything, tightened both water filter faucets and made it all better than ever. This is THE best plumbing company I have ever used. We had a 1" copper water line running under the driveway from the meter to the house spring a leak on a holiday weekend. Water started to come out of the asphalt driveway. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Based on other reviews here, we called 911 Plumbing at noon on Saturday and we able to get 2 employees to evaluate the leak 2 hours later.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They were able to run a bypass from a helpful neighbor's hose bib to our house so that water was temporarily restored. They provided a good quote, less than I feared, to dig up and replace the old pipe (about 30') and said they would arrive Monday to start. By Monday evening, they had the pipe replaced and water was fully restored. They did a very nice job of running the pipe under the driveway without having to tear up the driveway too badly. Wow, it's so hard to find good house repair services these days! 911 plumbing picks up immediately, gives you an honest estimate over the phone (some plumbers force you to schedule a house drop-in before providing an estimate), and their schedule is SO flexible and available!!
