Honestly it's been a while since a taco spot gave me Cali vibes. Food was on point and affordable for what is given. The flavoring was spot on and didn't need much additions. Wowww! I've been in Vegas for a few days and these tacos by far have been the best things even eaten. It was flavorful and good messy- I even picked up the chicken bits that fell on the counter to eat. I took a side trip off of the strip and glad I did. The service and staff was so kind and helpful even amidst working on a 60 person cater order. If I was here longer maybe I'd come back for the nice bar and drink space. read more

We got the chicken 3 taco plate and the vegan tacos. Extremely disappointed. The portions are tiny, they are stingy on the limes, and it's expensive. It took around 30 minutes and they got the vegan tacos wrong 3 times and never made it right. The first time they forgot the soy chorizo, second time they forgot the grilled onions and squash AND all times it came with cheese. On the description there was no cheese. The bartender helping us out was super nice but don't expect this to be a place where they take your order at the table and check up on you. We ordered at the counter, picked up our own food, got our own utensils, and picked up after ourselves. Overall, not a good place to eat. read more

The catering side of this business provided food for an outdoor event that was put on by a very well known company. I have to say the food was delicious and they were very efficient at handling such a large crowd. There were 500 plus people that showed up and I didn't hear one complaint. Typically I understand that's the risk but when I call for clarity or resolve and you talk AT me instead of to me like a paying customer that's an issue. Great food! If I was a local I'd eat here all the time if I was a local. When you enter the mall enter the area under the Mercado sign. There's a bunch of small Mexican shops but walk through those to the back and they are located in the food court hiding back there. The signature ribeye taco and taquitos are amazing! Some of the best quality meat and cooked to perfection. The Baja shrimp taco is fire and even the vegan taco was tasty with great grilled veggies that had flavor. This amazing little gem in the boulevard mall had the best ribeye nachos I've ever had! Super fresh ingredients HUGE portions with more than enough toppings throughout the whole dish for all the super fresh crunchy chips and the ribeye was so juicy and amazing! I was really excited and looking forward to finally trying this place out after seeing Mexi Papa's video on YouTube and reading all the reviews on yelp. Unfortunately, I walked out upset and really don't care to try this place out again. I just got off work and I was super hungry and finally got the chance to drive here. I walked in and got to the counter. An employee was ready to take my order right away but I asked her if I can take a second to look at the menu, she said OK and walked to the back. After a minute I was ready to put in my order, a few minutes go by and no help with no one visible. I waited and another few minutes go by and no help. I spotted somebody which seemed like the manager, maybe even the owner in the back and asked her if I can put in my order. She said that they were full or something like that and that she couldn't take no orders at the moment. I didn't understand what she meant so I asked her what she meant and she basically said that they weren't taking any orders right now because they're doing a catering service so they were closed. I was confused so I asked what time were they closed? and she said that they close at 6 PM. At the time it's actually 3:30 and so I asked her, "you guys are closed right now?" And she said no that they close at 6 PM. Then I said, "because you're doing a catering service you can't help a customer out?" She said no, sorry, only for alcohol at the moment. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Because they're doing a catering service, they could not attend to one customer for their one signature taco. Unbelievable!
