Taqueria Ktrina is a very small dine out Mexican restaurant at Rick Harrison's Pawn Plaza (next to Pawn Stars) off of Las Vegas Blvd. My husband and I get the Carne Asada Nachos which are delicious! We end up splitting the Nacho platter because there is plenty of food to share. We probably go there once a month. If you have a chance, go check it out!

Yes to Taco Tuesday. Yes please! Si por favor!! Came here to see the famous Pawn shop across the street but it's the tacos that got me interested. Hello tacos! They have a taco tuesday special for $2 a taco. I got six to start and was so happy that I got 4 more. Totally delicious. This is a cute little shop to order inside but seating is all outdoors at these metal tables. They do have someone come around to clean and keep it nice but it's not very comfortable or inviting and if the weather is too hot or too cold, probably not ideal. But I'd still come back because this is sort of how good tacos is supposed to be eaten, outside, slightly uncomfortable, exposed to the elements.

I thought the place was GOOD!!! A few of the really nice things about this place. 1) they do a wicked good taco Tuesday, it's $2 per taco and the tacos were a decent size. I got about 15 tacos for a group and about 3-4 tacos would do you good. 2) service was good and friendly and they do it pretty quick. 3) location is great and really close to Freemont St. they have a nice outdoor seating area right on Las Vegas Blvd. Only two recommendations to the restaurant: --- try less greasy tacos. Al pastor had a decent amount grease ---- add some hot sauce on the side. I like it hot Definitely worth a try

The nachos with asada were delicious. First time here . Not sure why it wasn't more busy . Will definitely come back.

I like this place. Vegas has really mediocre food and this was one of the better meals we had. We ordered the Asada nachos, asada tacos and the chicken quesidilla. The nachos were my favorite. You can tell they make the chips from scratch and the toppings were plentiful. My husband stated the quesidilla was one of the best he ever had and we have Mexican food every other week in Texas. We shared everything and it was enough for two meals. My only complaint was the salsa was a little watery and the charro beans could have used more spice.

I brought my husband down today to get our taco on. Awesome little place, right next door to the gold and silver pawn shop. Yeah, THAT pawn shop. We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened for the day... we ordered carne asada nachos, carne asada tacos, and quesobirria tacos. The street tacos were bomb, although I might have to ask for the salsa on the side in the future. It waits a couple of seconds before the heat hits, but isn't an overall a bad heat. The meat is tender and tasty! The nachos were super good as well. For 12.99, it would be nice if they were a little bigger, but since we were sharing, the size wasn't too bad. The quesobirria rltacos were good, but I have had better in town. You order inside and pick up when ready. There are no seats inside, but they have some tables outside that they share with the other eateries. We will be back!

Was so excited to try this new woman owned taqueria downtown. I was so sure this was going to be a hit. Came in on a Saturday, hot afternoon. Ordered taco de birria no cheese and a vip taco no cheese. The vip taco, i got with cheese. I went back to tell the lady i ordered it with no cheese and she complained to me saying "well thats what makes it a vip taco"... whatever f it.. i been starving, ill suck up this lactose intolerance. Sat back down to eat, messiest tacos ever. Taste was whatever as well. The birria meat was good, tasted like home. But like i said messiest tacos ever

I have lived in Las Vegas for 12 years and have searched for the best tacos. I have finally found them! Not only that, but the Quesibirria tacos were to die for!! The perfect amount of cheese with birria bursting from the top of the toasted tortillas. The consome was beyond perfection. I smothered it on the taco and luckily it didn't fall apart. My girlfriend is from LA, so she's spoiled with delicious tacos there. She said by far the best tacos in Vegas.

Nice little spot situated over by the famous pawn shop. Looks like it's family run and opened just a year ago. Very friendly service and really vibey interior decorating. Food: VIP taco's - Really liked the crunchy tortilla with melted cheese! The carne asada meat was good but still could be marinated better. Mexican salad with chicken - Very fresh ingredients with a light cilantro lime dressing. The meat was very tender, but way to salty for my taste. Overall, it's a good spot for tacos if you're in the area.

This cute hidden gem has tons of things on the menu to choose from, they have tacos burritos and birria on the weekends. Be prepared to wait in line they do tend to get busy but for a good reason. If you want to try something from this place let it be the V.I.P Taco!!!

Little hole in the wall, super small inside but food is delicious! We tried the QuesoTaco Birria (only available on the weekends) and they were absolutely fire! Crunchy fried shells with ooey, gooey melted cheese and super tender meat. The dipping broth was amazing that just elevated the whole experience! We also tried a cantaloupe Aqua Fresca. They advertised Pineapple but they didn't have any. The cantaloupe was very good and flavorful. Not pulpy at all which made it that much better! If you're near by and on the weekend stop and try the Birria!

Try the Mexican corn appetizer with it's crumbly cotija cheese, chili, lime, and mayo on top of charred corn kernels. It's in 'esquites' form, which means it's not left on the cob like 'elote' is. Their specialty, nachos, are also well seasoned and the chips are freshly made on site. What drew me in to this restaurant was a past appearance on the Maury Povich Show, where I took a paternity test for someone who claimed she was my daughter. The end result? I was cleared, so Maury pointed at me while telling her that he's "Not yo' daddy." And so I visit Nacho Daddy on occasion, strictly for celebratory reasons. Birria nachos are excellent, made with a high quality shredded beef with pickled onion, cilantro, sour cream, cheese, and lime on top of a stack of chips. Having birria without consommé was new, but this one didn't really need it with all the flavors jumping out. Another recommendation is the cheeseburger nacho, an Americanized version with ground beef, bacon, cheddar, jack, queso, onions, tomato, and lettuce. The 'mini nachos' are perfectly sized for a light meal but if you're hungry, get the full size order which is huge and shareable. This location has been in business for 17 years now and there's plenty of seating in a nice, clean atmosphere.

This place may be a small tavern-style spot with just enough seating, but don't let the size fool you. The moment you walk in, the aroma of the birria comes rolling out of the kitchen like a raging bull--it lets you know you're in the right place! They offer both goat and beef birria, and the flavor is absolutely incredible. I've only been eating birria for about five years, but in that time I've made it a mission to try it everywhere I travel. I've had birria from Las Vegas, California, Nebraska, Florida, and Texas, and I can honestly say Birria Bite is hands down the best I've had. I always order the Quesabirria Combo, and it never disappoints. The consommé is rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned--good enough to sip on by itself. And even though it's outside my normal diet, I can't leave without getting the Piña pineapple drink. It's sweet, refreshing, and absolutely fire. The hospitality is always A1, the staff makes you feel welcome every visit, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you receive. This is one of those hidden gems you'll keep coming back to. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out. Don't meet me there... beat me there... or be square!
