My battery died in the outskirts of LA. I called 911 jumpstart who gave me the best quote compared to other competitors. $85.00 to jumpstart my car battery sounded like a steal. They dispatched a technician to my location and I was told it would take approximately 20 mins for him to arrive. The tech showed up 40 mins later, and couldn't find the battery in my Audi. I had never changed my battery in this car before. And locating it turned out to be a little more tricky than simply popping the hood and searching around. After the tech spent a few minutes scratching his head, I did a quick google search. I told the technician the battery was located under the vehicles spare tire in the trunk compartment. We removed several items to access the battery and the jumpstart was successful. The technician asked me for cash as a form of payment. I rarely ever carry cash on me. He asked I send the payment information to a phone number. Feeling uneasy about texting my credit card info to a random number, I called back the office to try and pay over the phone, no one answered. I texted the number of the individual who set up the appointment - radio silence. This all could have been avoided if 1 I was told to have cash handy before the technician arrived, and 2 we live in a digital age - what business doesn't equip their technicians with some sort of device or scanner to take credit card payments? I waited in the parking lot for another 15 mins or so before the technician told me to just zelle the payment to a phone number. It sounded sus, but being that I was super late to another appointment, I obliged. Roughly an hour after I left, I received a text from the office asking for payment. ‍ I had to explain my whole ordeal with zelling money over to a random number per their technicians instructions. That was the last I heard. My 4 star rating may be generous, but solely reflects the reasonable price I was given to jump a battery. The service would have went smoother had the technician arrived closer to the time frame I was given, and known where the battery was actually located. Also, utilizing modern technology to accept debit or credit cards as a form of payment would be a huge business improvement. read more

Gotta say the Best onsite service I've had in years...I was over 20 miles away and was able to have a text communication without worry; he showed when he said he would and had the right battery in hand. He even went above and beyond by reaching out to find an answer on how to reset a 2013 Toyota Prius C in order get the car to start after the Auxiliary battery install; when he really didn't have to do it since he lived up to his contract by installing the battery. If your car won't start and it's approx 4-6 years old or so, then it is probably time to get a new battery since that's about how long they last. You can get a jump start and then go to one of the auto stores to buy a new battery and wait around while they install it and hope you get someone who knows what they are doing, or, for about the same price and a lot less hassle, you can get a pro to come to you. The first thing Alex (owner of 911 jump start) does is check your original battery's amps and volts to make sure that it needs replacement. Then he sets up a temporary battery which means that your car never loses power, which can be problematic for modern cars with their electronics. When he is finished he also makes sure the new battery is charging to ensure your alternator is working. After that, you're good to go, and the whole process takes about a half hour. Alex also inflated my tires which I appreciated, since they were a little low. Besides being knowledgeable he is also very friendly and has a great attitude. I am the only driver in my family and my wife & daughter depend upon me to get them where they need to go and it's frustrating when I can't be there for them. 911 jumpstart got me back on the road quickly, easily, and safely, and I very much appreciate the service. read more
