Just had Alex replace a battery on my car and it went flawlessly. He was super quick to respond to text and was at my house exactly when he said. On a super cool note, he shares his location with you on iPhone when he's on the way. My car's battery is difficult to get to and requires removing about 5-6 different pieces. He did it with ease and I was impressed how he put everything back from memory.

I learned today that our Ford C-Max Energi hybrid plug-in has a 12 volt battery that is located in the back of the car in a location that is difficult to access. Despite this, Alex was able to take apart the panels and install the battery. Very glad he came to the house, saving me a trip to Ford during Covid. Alex was also very responsive to my email inquires about the battery warranty. Highly recommend. read more

Especially given our current circumstances it was nice to not have to go to Pep Boys or the like to get a new car battery. Reasonable pricing considering he comes to you. The battery was a bit more expensive than regular retail and $40 for install. Was worth it though to stay safely at home. read more

Woke up to a dead car Monday. Wasnt sure if it was my 12V or HV battery as I have a hybrid. Tried to jump start it and no dice. I messaged him shortly after 6pm when I got off work and got an immediate response. Said he could be out the next morning and said he thought it was just my 12V. A+ work! I came out to my car yesterday morning and it wouldn't start. I thought my battery was dead so I called these guys at 9am and was able to get an appointment at noon. Wonderful! Alex was right on time. Unfortunately for me, Alex discovered that while my battery was fine, I needed a new starter. No worries though; Alex took out the bad starter, left for a short time and came back with a new starter. He installed it and I was all set to go by about 2pm. It obviously cost more than replacing a battery but the convenience of not having to tow my car to a mechanic is priceless! Alex was friendly and efficient! I highly recommend!! read more

This mobile service was so great. I LOVED not having to call and wait for AAA to tow my car to a service center and then wait around for half the day around other potentially unmasked people. During these uncertain times, it was a really nice feeling to be in the safety/comfort of our own home with only one point of contact. Alex was super nice and very responsive. Highly recommend. Very quick, friendly and good service. He came out and jump started my car and replaced the battery. It was just $200 and came with a 30 month warranty. Terrible service. The guy who came was very rude and charged way overpriced. I was simply asking for the battery price and he said 250$ when in reality it was close to 150$, then he switched to saying it's 300$. I don't mind giving service fees and tips but the way he handled things was intolerable. Will never use this service again. read more

All... you never know when you're going to be in a situation when no one is around to help you. Luckily I had messaged 911 Jumpstart and I was about to have them come over and give me a jumpstart but at the last moment a kindhearted kid I asked for a jump when I had just given up hope. Luckily that worked but if not I would have used this service. Quick response and happy they were not upset when I messaged them that I didn't need their services. Amazing service. My battery died the day I had to fly out of LA. I took auto-shop classes in Santa Monica High School and always love to work on cars and help people. I had several shops sold one and close others. Now I no longer have one but I come to the customers location and help them. Like AAA but we are mechanics so we do more than AAA. We can diagnose and repair most cars on-site. No need to call the tow truck. Call us. We will save you money on your car repairs. We sale, deliver and install car batteries.

I've brought my GLC twice for servicing and a repair. My check engine light came on recently so I took my car in for a diagnosis. They spent the morning investigating the issue and pretty quickly found the source of the problem (along with a few other recommended repairs that I didn't proceed with, and the guys at the shop weren't pushy about it either, which I appreciate). I was able to pick up my car the next day. They even took one of my tires to be repaired for free when they found a large nail it in after test driving the car. They probably aren't the cheapest independent service shop, but they know what they're doing, they use genuine parts, and they're definitely not ripping you off either. This shop is great and I'll back for future services or repairs.

The Good - Cook said the nail didn't fully puncture the tire and it didn't need to be replaced. So I appreciate the honesty for this part. 2. The Bad - Replacement of the front brakes. After a few months the brakes were still squeaking and I called to mention this and they said to drive the car longer and it will stop. A year later and they still squeak. I took the car to a mechanic for in inspection and was told that Cook used Oreilly brakes and did not use OEM BWM brakes. Cook did not offer it as an option. It is a 2022 BMW and the brakes the used are unsatisfactory. Had I known they would not use original parts or offer it, I would have had this service done elsewhere. I should have went to a BMW specialized mechanic.

The entire team--both in sales and service--is warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to customer satisfaction. The sales staff, including: Ron the GM, Mario the manager, Paul the finance director and Gabriel, my salesman, made the leasing process comfortable and stress-free, taking the time to answer my questions and remain patient when I conferred with ChatGPT and friends for sales advice and support. The service department has been equally outstanding. They are efficient and meticulously organized and treated me with kindness and respect. It's clear that Subaru values their customers and takes pride in providing excellent service. I love my Forester Wilderness, and I appreciate knowing that I have a dealership I can trust. But I took my car in for a regular service and was quoted, get this, $2,100 for a new A/C compressor, only after waiting 3 hours and watching through the window as no one worked on my car. I of course couldn't pay that and took it to a local mechanic after a recommendation, who let me know that my A/C compressor was fine- it was merely a broken electrical relay system. Parts and labor? $120. Subaru Santa Monica quoted me essentially a 90% markup. This place truly preys upon if you don't know about cars or aren't under warranty. Avoid if you're not under warranty- I knew these places could be bad but not this bad.

I look for service, responsiveness, and most of all quality and workmanship. Dr Wheel covers all the bases. I'll be honest, I was a little suspect at first. Their process seemed a little too good to be true. After getting various quotes from a range of others, the price was all over the place from too cheap to extraordinarily expensive. Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

Jonathan showed up promptly and got work immediately on my rim. His work and skills are impeccable. It only took him roughly about 20-25 minutes to leave my wheel looking "Good as new" for less than the cost of a new wheel. I definitely recommend Dr Wheel for your curb/parking mishaps. Hopefully I won't need their services again but if ever my wheels get damaged, I'll gladly use Dr Wheel again! Thank you Jonathan for the fast, friendly and incredible service.

Transaction was smooth but the dealership never provided us the IRS Form 15400 Clean Vehicle Seller Report that we need to finish filing taxes. Ive called, emailed, and visited this place multiple times and they always say "we'll get back to you soon" and then don't hear anything. I didnt realize its that hard for a business to help customers with a single 1-2 page form that literally lists the vehicle details, date sold, and the sale amount. Probably takes 2 minutes of your time. Ill remove this review once somebody can actually help me.

Service was fast, professional, and affordable! My car's battery has been hard to maintain since I barely drive it. The battery finally died completely, and I couldn't even jump-start it to avoid a street cleaning ticket.
