John (owner) and his employee Oscar came out to repair my commercial ice maker that had not worked…read morein 2 yr. Honestly, I had given up on it working. But John came first to diagnose the issue and said he would be back with a employee because he had to get under house where the ice maker was draining to clear the drain lines..and he needed a second person to help...the drain pipe was clogged extensively and the drain hose from the machine was clogged. They both were patient..came and evaluated what they needed...then left to get more supplies and returned after 5p with the new supplies and stayed til 8p to finish. I even called him around 5 and asked if he was sure he still wanted to come and return to finish with it being so late...he confirmed he was close to the house and on his way at 515 to finish. He and Oscar returned and made a comment thats what flash lights are for if it got later. He and Oscar were professional, happy to find the problem even with it being after hours. Honestly they both were amazing. Oscar got the machine Manitowoc hooked up while John was under house securing the drain. Never during this after hrs repair that either complained about it being late. They stayed energetic, happy and expressed thanks for the opportunity to fix the machine. Since it would take all weekend to see how it performed. .John even offered to return monday to check machine if it was not working correctly. Fortunately...it started right up and draining properly. Thanks to John's evaluation that it was never the machine but the draining system. Oscar also replaced the power panel (that needed to be changed) . He was so efficient as well. To add. In the past John has repaired my Viking refrigerator when no one else would bother because it was complicated to repair. If you are looking for an excellent Appliance repair company--we recommend Amer-Tech, owner John and his employees to assess and repair your appliance. They are honest and reasonable in their repair charge. I was actually somewhat concerned over what the final bill was going to be to consider they were here after hours up to 8 and include the previous trip in to evaluate the machine and set up a plan for repair. Being around the government and other places when these places did they take the cheapest price to do what they need for the contract. They came out to look at my refrigerator out again for no cold. For the fourth time in 3 years my motor was burned up. We identified this to the person who came out for the repairmen. We pointed out from our view that there must be something in the fridge taking these out as way too many times to burn up. Of course they want to do the quick and easy they just said oh you need a new motor take two weeks for them to get with Lowe's to get it approved. 2 weeks with food in a refrigerator and freezer that's going to go bad not sure why I would take 2 weeks. We called back to the business to see where we're at with the part and see if we can have them expedite it. The gentleman Oscar was the name of of who was supposed to help us or look into it we left numerous messages we were promised calls back from Oscar at this business. As of yesterday we called Lowe's directly and ask him if they have gotten in contact with them from this contractor or where we stood for the getting apart at least on order. Lowe's inform me as of yesterday that they the man contractor here have never gotten with him yet that was about a week ago. Lowe's said that they would send a message follow-up to the company to see what was going on. When Carlos first came out to assess issues with our dryer, he very quickly assessed the problem, ordered the part and returned within a few days to complete the job. Because I liked Carlos', knowledge, professionalism, and clean work ethic, I told him I was going to request permission from my Home Warranty co to schedule Mr Appliance to assess issues with our Thermador microwave, and I was requesting only Carlos to be sent. I very easily was granted authorization because none of the techs sent out previously had the experience that Carlos had. He single handedly disassembled the oven unit, that others had hesitated to tackle. Carlos promptly assessed the issue, ordered the parts and today came over, installed the parts and now we have a functional microwave. Yeah!! I can not appreciate enough this gentleman's professionalism, expertise, courteousness and attention to detail. When he drives up, he wipes his feet, lays a pad on the floor where he lays his tools and item he's working on etc. That's very much appreciated.
