Called the night before asking if they had any walk-ins available at 9am the next morning right when they open, I got a "yeah come in at 9 it'll be all good". I get there and they don't even have any barber show up till 9:25 and guy calls his buds and says "aye man I got a fucking walk-in". Can't even review the haircut quality, but the respect for sure wasn't there. And I'll note that the guy did call someone and asked to get someone in, but professional businesses can't be making customers feel like a problem. I've been going to this shop for 3 years now and Its definitely overdue that I right something in appreciation to what these guys do. My barber is Jr. @jrcuts, but everyone in there is dope. If you need to look fresh, look no further, its chill, you can relax and talk mess with everyone in there. Definitely can feel the family vibe in there! Hours of operation are apparently not as advertised! Arrived at 6:10 as a walk-in (because call @ 5:43 went unanswered). 1 barber on-duty cutting the hair of the only customer in the place. Before I could sit down I was told that there are no more haircuts happening tonight and that he is on his last customer! 50 minutes before posted closing. No one else waiting and the barber decides he's done! I don't mind flexibility - I get it. But answer the phone when a potential customer is trying to call to confirm hours. And when said customer arrives for what will be a 15-20 minute haircut 50 minutes before posted closing, do the right thing! read more

I highly recommend their shop if you are looking for a cut. Brian provided great customer service by being detailed with his cuts and personable in our conversations. I like the atmosphere and the feel of a modern day barbershop. They take card too which is awesome! Although to be honest, it is pricey, but you are paying for the quality. .Mook, the barber fucked up my front hairline and I didn't have time for her to correct the problem right then and there. It was a rookie mistake that she should have caught. When called latter that evening to correct the problem I was treated disrespectfully even though I was willing to pay for her to correct the error. I ended up finding a new barber to correct her mistake. read more

Been going here for years now, and I don't even consider going anywhere else in town. In the past I've tried pretty much every other barbershop in the midtown area, and this is by far the best. I go to Brian who is the owner and a beast with the clippers. JR has also cut my hair when Brian was out and kept me looking clean. All of the barbers are legit, make sure to book an appointment because they stay busy (which is a good sign in itself). Stopped here after work a couple weeks ago and got freshly faded by Mook. This was the only shop open that late and she cut me tight. What more could I ask for! The shop had plenty of seating including a nice couch area with an Xbox and flat screen. There was also plenty of parking in their lot behind the building and on the street. My boys are pretty picky about who they get their cuts from. I kept telling them to go to your cousin in Sac. I finally convinced my younger boy to go and get his "manbun" cleaned up. Brian did such an awesome job his older brother wanted to get his "manbun" cut off and cleaned up w/ a new look. Now they both go here on a regular. More than I go to my hairdresser.
