I needed this! A nice dinner, by the water, on a beautiful evening! It was me, my husband, our 8 and 5 year olds. Arrived a little before 6:30 Sunday evening and after a little confusion among the hosts, we were seated in about 10 minutes. Turned out there were a couple parties ahead of us. It was our first time here and we wanted to have a table by the water versus sitting in their bar area. They seem to be a dog-friendly place, so you can bring your well-behaved dog to hang out with you while you eat. We saw at least 3 dogs there. None barked the entire time we were there. In addition to their regular menu, they had a full page of specials printed out. We ended up ordering the Atlantic Sole and Rib Wrap from the specials, and the calamari and wings from the regular menu. We all enjoyed being by the water, watching the boats pass by, as we waited for our food. The service was great, all the food was really delicious, minus the calamari. Calamari looked good, but was tasteless. Diners next to us, got what looked like one of the steakburgers and a Strawberry Daquiri, and we may have to come back for that. Big portion for the burger and both looked really good! I also want to give their Korean BBQ wings a shot next time! We'll be back! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Came in by boat for dinner and found seats immediately. Servers kept on walking right on by us even when we tried to flag them down. Had to go to the bar and caught an attitude up there too. Ended up leaving without any food, drinks, or service. The least they could have done was talked to us but they just would ignore us even though they were servicing tables to each side of ours. read more

When a restaurant that was becomes something new, ya never know. This one is an upward change. Not only are the staff more friendly and attentive, but the food is great and the waterside area has been spiffed up nicely. Come check it out, you won't be disappointed. read more

Very interested place. Food was good, service was good. Restaurant was HOT and the ceiling fans were apparently form over function... didn't work. I was just passing through for work and came in with a small group. The orders all come out right, on time, and were delicious. There was a problem with our server wanting to split up our checks which I think may have dropped his tip down around the table. Other than that it was an ok experience. read more

My wife and I had a very nice dinner. We ate outside by the water and enjoyed the setting very much. It was so nice watching all the boats go by. The food was very good with nice portions. Prices are reasonable also. My one complaint is are waitress would disappear for large chunks of time. We will be back! read more

The catfish tacos and french fries were very flavorful! Catfish wasn't fishy at all and the peppers, coleslaw, and special sauce were fresh and tasty! I even tried the fried pickle slices from my husband's BBQ burger, and it was also quite yummy! We couldn't sit outside yet, but we had a nice view of the lake! Inside is nicely decorated in a sea motif, but there is a smell that you need to get past. I'm sure it's because it's such an old building, but we got past it. I can't wait to come back and sit outside orat the tiki bar! read more

We were a group of 10, including some kids and came in by boat. The docks are not the greatest and there is not a ton of dock space. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress, Casey, was quick to the table and was very nice. The wings were good as well as the calamari and ahi tuna. It did seem to take a little while for the food but it came out just as I started to think about it. The atmosphere is very laid back. Overall I would return here. read more

I would give this place a 5 if service was the only reason to rate. Our young server was great coming back often to see if our group of 7 needed anything. The loaded potato soup was excellent for flavor but the temperature was a bit tepid. Probably due to the very long walk from the kitchen to the outdoor seating area. A few of our group ordered the fried haddock and were pleased. I'm a haddock snob, so I don't usually get it at new, for me, restaurants. One ordered quesadilla and it looked good. She said it was "fine". The wings were very good claimed another but they charge extra for the blue cheese and celery. Not extra blue cheese but the first that usually comes with wings. Lose a 1/2 star there. Two of us took a special of Scallops with capellini and plum tomato sauce. I'm sorry, but $24 for 3 scallops on a plate of spaghetti and sauce was a bit pricey. Tasty, but nothing as fancy as I was hoping for. And finally, on the menu is an item called "pork wings". No explanation of what they are so we asked. The server said she would ask since she is a vegetarian. She must also be new, because that should have nothing to do with it. So she asked and came back with "just like chicken wings but pork". The kitchen had to be laughing out loud. I had to tell her pigs don't have wings (at least not any pigs I've ever seen). I think the menu should have a small explanation on some of the items. Great music, tunes that took me back to my early adulthood but so loud it was hard to carry on a conversation. read more

Have been here twice now. The first time was better than the second. I don't know if they have trouble handling the kitchen when it's busy? The first time we sat at the bar had a burger and some wings it was pretty good and we got our food in a timely matter. Second time we came we came by boat and it was pretty busy. We got a table inside and the server was very nice. We were a party of 5 and we ordered our food and the appetizers came out pretty quick and were really good. But then we waited almost an hour and a half for our main courses. I ordered chicken piccata which was a 16$ meal and all that it consisted of was maybe a half piece of a chicken breast with French fries. To say the least I was super disappointed and still hungry when I finished. I would still go back but only for maybe appetizers and drinks at the bar. But not a place I recommend for dinner on a busy evening. read more

We had a good meal here, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately the docks are kind of shabby to take your boat out, and as you can see in the picture there was quite a bit of garbage stacked nearby which is not exactly appetizing. I had a hamburger and it was quite delicious, our dog was welcome as well, all in all will definitely be back. read more

We had a dinner gathering on September 23rd, for the Knights of Columbus, Liverpool Chapter. As a International Culinary Graduate, I know my food. With that said, service was horrible our waitress did not introduce her self. Never asked how our meals were. I ordered o New Sirlion Medium Rare and it was over cooked, the 2nd Steak was done right however it was all fat. The Calamari had no flavor, no dipping sauce. It took about 45 minutes to get our food to us. The restaurant new how many were in the party. Very poorly prepared for us. I for one will not recommend this Restaurant to any big parties. Had Dinner with friends while watching a great band called the Strangers on January 20. The bar service and the waitress people were excellent. Our dinners were fantastic. Chef Eric and the kitchen crew that night were spot on. We are looking forward to going back soon Great job! read more

Love this bar and restaurant, I frequent 916 often. They have awesome food and music and ample boat access, and the decor in the Tiki Bar definitely makes you think you're not in Brewerton anymore! read more

Took exactly 59 minutes to get a drink at the Tiki Bar. Seemed kind of short staffed. Was hoping for better. Not coming back here again.

Pleasantly surprised with our first visit to 916. We were a party of 4 and when we first arrived we were not sure that it was open on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was not but the tiki bar was. Seating next to the lake and also covered seating. We got the last table open, it was pretty busy. Ordered 4 appetizers, black and tan onions rings, steamed clams, Asian potstickers and chorizo and potato dumplings. All were excellent flavor. Clams were on the small side. Dinner choices were fried soft shell crab sandwich, chicken asiago, and ny strip. Chicken dish was delish, crab sandwich was flavorful and ny strip was so tender it melted. We had 4 drinks and for everything for 103. Our waitress impressed me also because she had to go so far to the kitchen and carry food to the tiki bar. I work in an upscale restaurant and this place compared closely to it. Very pleased and will return. Fast service and had live music during dinner. read more

Great location but awful food. Had the Prime Rib special and two in my party ordered. Asked for medium and medium well, both came out well done, dry and cold. It certainly had not been just pulled out of the oven. It was dry, like it had been cooked the day before and stored, and not even warmed up sufficiently. I've had better prime rib in a diner for half the price. The waitress should have had the sense to not even have served the food. A new customer that won't be back. read more
