I have heard so many great things about 92 chicken and just recently tried it and I was blown away. I literally have heard people who are from Jamaica and other countries, say this is by far the best chicken that they've ever had in the area. I tried the garlic honey fried wings and they were really delicious. They definitely have a little bit of a kick when you first bite them, but as you continue eating them, the heat kinda slows down. At first, the price point can also seem a little pricey, but overall I think it was really worth it. I was able to have a 10 piece between myself and my spouse for two nights of dinner. I also didn't realize that they serve things like beer and wine and had available seating, so I'll definitely be back to try to dine in instead of taking out. I still had no issues with the takeout option, as my food was still piping hot by the time I got it home. They also have really cute decor inside. read more

92 chicken might be o e of the best Korean fried chicken spots in the greater Savannah area. It's super clean inside and the bathrooms are clean too (and interesting!) I stopped by for lunch and was greeted with a helpful person behind the register. I haven't had good Korean friend chicken since living in New England, so this was a great treat. The prices are higher than other places that specialize in chicken in this area, but it's full of flavor. Also love the pickled radish, but didn't like that I had to order that as a side. I'm used to that coming with the chicken as a palate cleanser, esp. if you have two savory flavors - my favorite combo here was the garlic spicy and red hot spicy. Updated after doing a little research. The "internet" says that "Korean fried chicken often has a spicy element due to the inclusion of gochujang (Korean red pepper paste) in the sauce, giving it a sweet and spicy flavor profile." Great service. Be advised...the Original recipe is SUPER spicy. To the extent that I thought I had the wrong order. I could not finish the chicken which makes me sad because it had an awesome, crispy coating (see photo). The description should be more accurate or at least indicate that there is red pepper paste in all recipes. Note, there are pepper icons elsewhere on the menu and no mention of spiciness in the descriptionso i thought I was safe. LOL! I called to verify whether the original recipe was supposed to be spicy and no one really knew. Owners should explain to employees the flavor profile of the menu items. Been here 3 different times since they've opened and had zero issues each time. The people that work here are super nice and provide great service. You can either order at the counter or use the kiosk. They've got a decent amount of places to sit and have traditional sodas available like Coke and sprite. The food is always piping hot and very crisp/crunchy. I've tried 3 different flavors of chicken and enjoyed each one, especially the garlic spicy. The fries are very good too, can't speak on the cabbage cause I don't eat that lol. Happy to have this place in Pooler and will definitely be a go to spot for lunch/dinner. read more

I went in there for the first time. The lady was nice and help me pick what's on the menu, but I told her that I didn't want spicy food, so I pick a regular fried chicken since it had no spice level next to it like the other order. I received the food to go like I asked, but they didn't give me a napkin and fork for rice and chicken I ordered and they coulda let me know before I walked out the store. I found this out opening the bag, I begin to taste the fried chicken just to find out it's spicy, you can see the spice on it when you bit the chicken. I'm very upset because I wasted 23 dollars on something I can't eat and I also tip them out of courtesy. I will not be going to that place again. To make sure I don't waste the food, I will be giving to someone that homeless, and I hope they enjoy the food that I look forward to eating. I will publish my experience on every social media platform, and I will notify every soldier and veteran that I associate with, I was a veteran serve as an airborne indirect infantrymen for 173rd airborne brigade and now currently a government contractor so I still have base access, I will spread the word. Food (their chicken) is excellent; 5/5. The inside is very clean and modern: 5/5. Servers are friendly but once we get our food, they don't ask if we need anything: 4/5. However, few things could do improvement: they serve a radish soup which most people who are not Korean won't like. Instead, they should serve rice. They didn't have any rice options during dinner time that we had to get more fried side. It would be good to balance fried chicken with rice. They said rice is only offered for lunch special and not for dinner - doesn't make sense. The other thing is they add an automatic gratuity which puts customers off; this is not a full service restaurant so I don't see the need for paying the normal 15-20 percent tip. Thirdly, they should market the place better - it is kinda dull. In order to thrive like the nearby restaurants like Naan Appetit, Wild Ginger, etc., do better marketing. Just a friendly suggestion as I want them to succeed. Their chicken is way better than most American chicken chains! read more

I really really wish them well. Today wasn't there best day, Hopefully things will get better. The staff need some serious guidance. The girls were clueless, after ordering we waiting 45 mins for our order. It was during our work lunch break and 1/2 the order was missing and wrong. Our cashier was also our server, after delivering our food, I said this isn't what we ordered, she then walked away smiling saying you can share. The beverage selections were poor. I asked for tap water was told don't have any then asked any diet choices, no only bottled water canned lemonade and regular coke in can. chicken was very good and so was cabbage with dressing. Just tried this place and I have to say it's some of the best chicken I've had. We had two different flavors of chicken tenders and the chicken was cooked perfectly. My only feedback to the owners would be that honestly it's almost too much chicken in one order and because of thattoo expensive. $41 for two people to have chicken tenders for lunch is really steep. My advice would be to reduce your prices, cut back on the amount of chicken and offer a side of steamed rice. That would be perfection. read more

This business is new, so they probably need time to get running efficiently. The staff at the counter were very kind and helpful and thanked us for supporting their new business. I hope they do well. Atmosphere: It is in an old salad restaurant...and that's what the sign says outside. The only 92 Chicken signage is a banner in the window. So, it's hard to find. We drove past twice trying to find it. The banner looks cheap and temporary. Permanent, branded signage will be better. Inside, all the old salad restaurant decor is still up on the walls The order counter is a really cute old VW bus (so many possibilities to create a unique vibe!) but, it's cluttered with takeout boxes and supplies. Hide those under the counter or in the back! There are plenty of tables and chairs, so seating is easy. All over the dining area, there are signs package-taped to the walls which say, "self-service." I assume this means you order and pick it up at the counter....just like you do at every other restaurant of this kind. The signs are unnecessary and make the place look cheap. The food: Well...it looked good online which is why we came. However, the only time you can order a "meal" is weekday lunch. That's really bad!! We came on a Sunday for lunch and could only piece together food for our family by ordering very large portions of chicken. 10 tenders was the smallest order of tenders available. I asked if we could get a smaller portion or if they had a children's menu for our 10-year-old, and the answer was no for both. If you want families to come, offer a kids menu! We ordered 10 tenders and some wings. The tender order was WRONG. Instead of getting a sauce, we got a sauce. We like spicy food, but this sauce ruined the otherwise good chicken. My husband is the only one who could eat it. We ordered onion rings...greasy and the premade kind you get from a restaurant food supply. Nothing which would make me want to order again. I got the cabbage salad. The nice woman who took our order said it was fresh cabbage with 1000 Island dressing and...that is exactly what it was. A small pile of angel hair cabbage with 1000 Island dressing squirted on top. Not worth almost $3. Some kimchi would be amazing!! The beverages are canned drinks in a large cooler in the entry area. The cooler was only about 1/8 full, so it looks like they are running out of beverages and the choices were limited: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and water bottles. The almost-empty cooler gives the impression that you don't have drinks. Fill the cooler up and offer more choices!! You want people to feel like they have many delicious options instead of just a couple choices. Now, about the restroom. You. Do. Not. Need. A. Bidet. ESPECIALLY one which has been added to the top of the existing toilet and where the power cord to the super-fancy, electric bidet is an extension cord wrapped around the ADA handrail and dangling by the toilet and then run across the wall by the sink to the wall socket. I'm pretty sure this is not up to electric code. I know, I know, bidets are common in Europe and Asia. I had them in my house when I lived in Europe! I'm sorry, but this is Georgia. Know your customers. This exit is full of tourists and travelers passing by. They want simple, sparkling CLEAN, fresh restrooms with nice soap and a good vent fan...not a bidet hooked up with what looks like an electrocution hazard. I truly hope this business succeeds. The basic chicken was good. They need to make meals and kids meals available at all times, not just lunch M-F. Some rice and kimchi would be fantastic for a side dish. Please, please get your orders correct. The lovely people taking the orders read them back correctly, it came out wrong from the kitchen and was not edible because of the wrong, incredibly spicy sauce. If they want to make it in this area with literally 80+ other great restaurants, they need to make an excellent impression on their customers when they come in the door. That is not happening. The staff was very, VERY nice, which is fantastic. The chicken was OK and has the potential to be great. But...everything else needs a lot of work. In this area, with all of the other trendy, modern restaurants nearby, they must have a fun atmosphere, nice decor (not paper signs taped to the walls!) and good, quality food which is quick and accurate. read more
