This is the real deal. If you're looking for authentic Korean food you've found it. I live in Jacksonville, FL and finding Gamjatang is literally impossible anywhere in Florida. I was pleased to see it on the menu and had to order it. Immediately you're welcomed with a round of banchan, and in Korea you can tell a restaurant is good by how good their banchan is. Overall I'd give it an 8/10. The Gamjatang came out in a traditional stone bowl boiling hot. It was absolutely delicious. I was surprised to see how loaded with meat it was considering it was only $16.99. I also ordered a steamed egg and it was one of the best I've had. It was perfect, no burns. Overall, I would come back here and again and again if I lived in the area. It's as authentic and delicious as being in Korea. read more

Enjoyed a fabulous dinner last night. Everything was the delicious! We started with the pork belly skewers and steamed dumplings. Wait until you see the size of the dumplings! Huge! The unassuming strip mall exterior leads way to a roomy and immaculate dining area. Looks like they are set up for hotpot. We decided to opt out and order everything from the kitchen. SCALLION PANCAKE was filled with delicious squid but failed to have that wonderful crisp exterior. The PORK BULGOGI is one of the best I had. It was so flavorful, moist, and had a wonderful grilled flavor. Many other patrons were present enjoying the various tofu soups. I have had more flavorful soups in ATL, Bham, Houston, and Aurora, CO so it didn't compare to the Korean restaurants there. But I enjoyed the seaweed in my MIXED SEAFOOD AND PORK SOUP. The banchan selection needed more heft in that department. I feel like post-COVID era just skimped out on banchan portions. Not sure if complimentary seconds are available. Food is great if you like spicy authentic Korean food. I ordered soon tofu beef soup. It was spicy and hot and full of flavor. Simply delicious. It came with sides like seaweed salad, kimchi to die for!!!! pickled reddish and cucumber salad. We also shared the Korean beer. It was very tasty. Service was outstanding! Our server was very polite and explained menu. Although the restaurant is very small but atmosphere was very welcoming and warm. Definitely, recommend that little gem when visiting area. read more

It was very good. But a heads up--ask what's in the kimchi pancake, as they do put squid in the non-seafood kimchi pancake....hehee--- It was very pricey though for a lunch. We only had two appetizers (kimchi pancake, chicken bites, and shared a beef bulgogi entree and two waters.....with a tip, it cost $84) based on price. We were excited to try this place once we discovered it! When we walked in, we were seated and wanted to try everything on the menu! I got the SoonTofu with spicy marinaded chicken and my husband got SoonTofu with seafood and marinaded beef. It was a restaurant I had visited in Savannah. I assumed it was a popular restaurant because of the large crowd. The food looked clean and tasted delicious. My daughter, a very picky eater, said it was a good place. If I visit again, I would like to try the oden soup next time, because there was oden soup all around me. So good! Iit was just what I was looking for after a long day - needed some comfort food and this place delivered. Dinner was tteokbokki, beef bulgogi, and seafood soontubu for two of us. Plus there was a nice selection of small side dishes and they were also delicious! It's a small family run place that really delivers with seasoning and spice. I have been eating Korean food for more than 45 years now and have likely visited 40+ different Korean restaurants in several cities, including local favorites in the Savannah area such as Bewon, Zip Bob, Kimchee2 and Korea Garden. Since they are the new kid on the block, I was curious to try out Seoul K. Without a doubt, Seoul K has the best spicy marinated pork I have ever eaten as well as the best haemul pajeon. The soontofu soup was good and we really liked the side dishes. The speed of the service was phenomenal, receiving our food literally within minutes of ordering. The owners were friendly and welcoming which added to our positive experience. The only real negative at Seoul K is a very limited menu. I suggested to the owners that they add galbi, japchae and sweet tea. However, this shortcoming does not detract from the very high quality of the food they do offer. To anyone who hasn't tried Seoul K yet, it is by far the best Korean fare in the Savannah/Pooler area and among the best I have had anywhere. read more
