I ordered food through Door Dash. The food was delicious. I had the Beef Bulgogi with steamed rice. Although the meal came with kimchi cucumber I ordered a side of it as well. I'm glad that I did. Everything was fresh and quite tasty. The delivery was great as well.

I first visited this restaurant when it was new in this location. At first, the restaurant was lacking something. Today, the restaurant is named KIMCHI 2. To conclude, the restaurant has improved a lot. The tteokbokki came with ramen noodles, which would appeal to Koreans and Native Americans alike. The bibimbap had enough rice and ingredients to make it very filling. The Yukgaejang is also above average in flavor despite its appearance.

Favorite place for a delivery of Korean food, (when it is open for dining it has very limited seating so I always order delivery). Rest assured, no matter how you order you will always get a fabulous, fresh, hot, delicious, flavorful and well prepared meal. One of my favorite places that never disappoints. Highly recommend. Favorites are Beef Gali, Bipimbap & Japchee.with all the fabulous sides.

One of my favorite spots in Savannah. My family and I have been going for years. The food is always great. My favorites are the *Spicy (and traditional) beef bulgogi, *Bibimbap and *Kimchi pancakes. It's very casual and good place to try authentic Korean food. I love that every main dish also comes with fresh kimchi as appetizers.

Currently they are only doing online orders for takeout. It's worth it! Please don't let that stop you. I put in the order and it was about 25 min. It was ready when I got there. I got 2 orders of the lunch spicy bulgogi combo. 2 rice punch drinks and an order of cabbage kimchi. I requested additional meat because the portion looked small and it was worth it. I would definitely come back!

I visited this place once about a year ago and then each time I'm in town it always looks like they're closed. But this time they had the open sign on. So I went in and talked to the waiter and he said that they're closed from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or something like that. And that is literally the only downside of this entire restaurant. The staff are amazing and the food here is absolutely top-notch! The ordering is very straightforward, and the description on the menu is very easy to understand what you're getting. I got the spicy bulgogi and it was phenomenal!!!

For my first time having Korean, I couldn't have asked for better! Everything was so flavorful. My shrimp was cooked perfect and spicy, but just right. The sides of salad, yuca, and kimchi were also delicious.

Went to Kimchi with some friends for lunch all I can say is WOW!!!! Ive been twice and they have yet to disappoint, the first I went it was good, this time it was GREAT! This is by far my favorite Korean Restaurant in Savannah. Easily the best one ive been too. I ordered the lunch special, spicy beef bulgogi and fried rice. The beef bulgogi was perfect! A lot of flavor, the perfect amount of spice, tender, and just very good. The lunch special came with the meat, a choice of white or fried rice, and fried dumpling. If you're looking to try Korean food or are looking for a new spot, go to Kimchi!! You won't be disappointed!

We had all of our raw dishes brought to the table and then no follow up with sauces and rice and we actually had to get up to find a manager to get served. They forgot our utensils for cooking too. Actually pretty bad. The service of neglecting actually began to piss us off. They have an automatic gratuity, which is unfortunate because they certainly dropped the ball last night. And they know it. The manager knew it. Amber knew it. They were busy so I'll give them that, but we really feel, as a party at six, that we were literally forgotten about. And there's way too many places to eat to have to endure that. If they're busy, I would move on.....if I were you. If they're slow, give them a try.

We visited on a Thursday evening and it was not overcrowded. They do accept reservations. We didnt have one but we're still seated immediately. Cute and cozy setting. Felt clean. You have the option to cook your meal at the table or oder from the kitchen. The orange blood martini was delicious! The truffle fries came out hot, crisped to perfection. I'm not a huge fan of mayonnaise, but they brought out a mayonnaise aoli with lemon flavor to dip the fries and it was amazing. Now, the entree. I wanted to love it. The noodles were like a rice noodle, thin and transparent looking. I wrapped a little on my fork like I do with sphaghetti. ...I almost choked because the noodles would not break when I tried to chew them. I then tried cutting the noodles with my fork and then with a knife. They were cooked well but they were hard to break down. I literally had to force my fork to cut them and could only take extremely small bites. The flavors were good but it was way too much WORK. I dont recommend this 1 dish but I would come back to try other options on the menu.

Verenice was the BEST! Give that girl a raise or a promotion! She was doing it all! From taking orders, bringing food out, and cleaning up tables! She helped us navigate the menu/ordering. She also brought out our food to the table and was so helpful during our first time here. There were lots of ramen options to choose from. You choose your broth and meat option and that tells you your price. You can add extra toppings for additional costs. Runs about less than $20 a person. They have fountain drink options as well as other Asian drinks. They have rice bowl options as well as meat on a stick. They don't have kids meal options but it's about $8 for noodles and broth. Which is a good option for kids. I ordered shoyu broth for my son. I didn't realize it would taste so salty. I understand it's a soy sauce broth. But most ramen broths I've had isn't to that degree. I asked if they could add hot water to the hot water to make it less salty. Verenice again was so helpful, she brought the ramen back out and said if I needed more water added to just ask. I will say I did not appreciate the additional comments from some of the kitchen staff. The place is decorated with lots of anime characters. They have a vending machine with goodies. Asia Market (AM) is one of a handful of Asian grocery stores in Savannah and surrounding areas, but…read moremore specifically, only one of two stores that focuses on Korean specialty items. I learned this early on when we first moved to the area, because priorities, People! I need to know where I can get my Korean goods! - Parking - Center lot. Located in a strip mall, the parking is limited and a little tight in front of the store, but hey, I'm not complaining. It's free parking. - Vibe - It's a tiny store. I mean, like 2 aisles tiny. So, if you can't handle small spaces, be warned. However, the owner has made good use of every inch of real estate in there, but organized. Reminds me of the way small biz owners set up their small spaces in markets in Korea. No wasting any space here. Think of it as Aldi in terms of product selection as compared to a Kroger. Smaller, easier to navigate and I can get all my basics. - TLC - I always see the same Ajjumma (Ma'am in Korean). She is the owner, I'm sure. She's always really sweet, gives service with a smile and when my kids are with me, she always gives them a little complimentary Rice Cracker snack packet. They clearly love her, LOL! - Goods - The prices are lower at AM between the two Korean grocery stores, even though it's the smaller store. Those two aisles are stocked with the basics and I can get everything I need to cook my Korean meals, from Gochujang (Hot Red Pepper Paste) to Japchae noods (sweet potato starch noods). I find some of my childhood treats too like Choco-Pie, Go-So-Mi Crackers (a must try if you don't know what these are!) and Banana Oo-You (Milk) which are super expensive, but I think it's just the price of importing them. My husband wasn't really too happy that I bought 6 juice box sizes of Banana Milk for $9, but hey, $9 is worth it for the walk down memory lane for a few minutes! On the second aisle, the freezer and fridges line the wall and I buy mostly all of my frozen and refrigerated items there, things I can't get online, like dumplings, oval rice cakes, both things I needed to make Ddukmanduguk (Dumpling Rice Cake soup) that Korean typically eat on Lunar New Year, which was the reason for my recent visit. The kimchi they sell is from Atlanta and it's pretty decent. For one of those big plastic containers (like when you get Pho broth packed to go, maybe a pint size?), it's about $8? Not bad considering Kimchi is a PITA to make. The good news is, every time I buy one, it's in the beginning stages which is the stage I really don't like, but it's an indication that it was made and delivered to the store recently. I got the Green Plum juice on my recent visit and I thought it was pretty tasty! I got this as an exchange for the Jeju Clementine juice I originally purchased because it had just expired. - Heads Up - Pro tip - if you see Hangul (Korean alphabet) on the store sign, it's most likely Korean owned, which probably means it's a Korean specific grocery store. I know some people were not too happy about the store name, but hey, there is Kimchi sold at big chain grocery stores and I wouldn't call it Kimchi. Know what I mean? If I plan ahead, I usually place my non-perishable order online with a well known Korean grocery store in the North East, but this is the place I go for all my last minute needs and all the perishable stuff. It won't have everything in 10 different flavors, but it should get you the basics! Note to self for future: Try the Jeju Clementine Juice and the Fish Waffle Red Bean Ice Cream Sandwich!
