The atmosphere and staff were great. I'm only giving it 4 stars because my meal was less than exciting. Here's why: I ordered the Monte Cristo because it was recommended in other reviews. And while the sandwich should have been delicious, anyone who's had a MC knows it needs to be crunchy with a sweet dip (usually a raspberry sauce). OK - granted there was one tiny raspberry jam packet like you find in restaurants that serve breakfast. There was also one individual syrup. I was rather surprised, frankly. I was with a large party and others seemed happy with their food so I don't want to discourage anyone from going there. Just be aware that the accompaniment for my MC was less than satisfactory and certainly not enough to use to dip the entire sandwich. I took half home and heated it up in my air fryer. I used real maple syrup I had at home to dip. By the way, after heating in my air fryer my sandwich was a lot crunchier than when delivered to me the night before - also, a feature I think most people would appreciate when it comes out of the kitchen. A MC served correctly should be crunchy with an easy-to-dip sauce - Amen PS: I just noticed some pictures on the review page showing the kind of packets delivered with the sandwich. Interesting that there was one that had a nice little bowl of strawberries in juice on the side. That would have been preferable to those packets. read more

I came here with my husband for lunch on a Sunday. It had your typical bar/diner food which was good, but nothing special. I was very disappointed in the service. Our server was Chase M, and it felt like it was like pulling teeth to get him to come to our table. We ended up having to tell our food runner for things, which she said she would help us let our server know, but still he was very uninterested in anything we needed. At one point we were trying to flag him down. We even set our plates at the end of the table to clear out of the way, but did not even acknowledge to clear. I would understand if they were busy, but he was not even trying to check on us. I don't think I will ever come back based on this terrible service we received. read more

I was almost not served because I had a real ID. The bartender didn't believe my ID was real at 30 years old because it was the real ID and it expired after 8 years and what ever machine she used did not scan it. She was also not apologetic when I gave her another form of ID. read more

I was told by a customer that she had a concern and approached the "manager" with the bright red hair and was told she didn't care and that she didn't need to return to the establishment . In addion when she wrote a review , and the " manager " with the bright red hair blocked her phone number. Why ??? Being the curious individual that I am , I followed up and sure enough said "manager" blocked my phone number. I find it odd since I have never had a reason call , but now my number is blocked . Had a super fun date night. It was busy but adequately staffed. Drinks were strong and cold. They had karaoke going, sports on TV, pool and darts. There was a little something for everyone. And it was a crowd of all ages! Can't wait to come back and try their food. read more

Sad but true. Recently having a conversation with strangers made me speak out and write this review. Almost a year ago I went to this location to pickup a lunch order for our office. I am the manager of our insurance office and I was buying our staff lunch for the day. I phoned in our order and it was accepted no issues. I speak perfect English mind you. Upon arriving I walked in through the front and noticed a bar and a host stand. I proceeded to flag down a server that was walking by and mentioned I was there to pick up an order. She told me to follow her and proceeded to take me to the back to the kitchen where I saw an open door to the alley and the kitchen. She left me there. I saw the in between where they have their drinks machine, coffee pots and a mop in the corner. The cook came up to me and asked me what's up. I told him they brought me here, I was picking up an order. He was making a burger on the flat grill with a pan over it to cook it quicker. He told me I had to go to the front which I knew to be obvious. The sad part is the server was white and I was not. I was racially profiled and discriminated. I proceeded to go back to the front, mind you I was dressed in office apparel. I repeated myself that I was picking up an order. The same woman, was shocked and hopefully embarrassed. I paid with my American Express and left never to return. I even tipped the b!tch. Needless to say that was the one and only time our office has ordered lunch from there. It was a recommendation of one of our staff that said they were a great place. I hope they don't treat all their customers this way, it was very disrespectful and demeaning. read more

Wasn't a fan of the corned beef. This was your classic lousy cheap piece of deli corned beef, grilled and so chewy, it was like trying to eat shoe,,leather. I did experience some minor cramping late in the night after eating this sandwich. The salad and dressing were fine, but the corned beef was an embarrassment. read more

Brought my husband here for the first time for the prime rib. Sat on the patio. Put our order in right away as soon as we sat down. Took quite some time to get our food and the restaurant was hardly busy at all. Our food was cold, and there was no butter, sour cream, salt, and pepper. Anything offered for our baked potato in the rest of our plate. By the time the waitress came back around after she had already been asked to bring butter my husband was done with his meal. We have been sitting here for 20 minutes, trying to pay our bill and nobody can seem to find her so we can pay and go home we asked for a manager and apparently there isn't even one around. Word of advice to the owner.... when your staff is drowning and literally crying maybe stop hanging out in the patio with your friends and help them. -from a customer who witnessed all of this first hand. Me and my wife was looking for something to eat, my wife say the place next to her work place, her co worker say is good. We give is a chance and try it tonight. We ask to sit on the patio since the weather is nice. The music is good and the environment is lovely. The crowd is mostly Caucasian and us., which is fine. Our waitress seem friendly and after place our order, kind of weird that she ask us to pay first. I give her my card and think nothing of it unit i saw other customers sit down after us but she didnt ask them to pay first. I wait a bit and ask her about it and she state that she ask every one for their credit card first and place a hold on it, and is not a pay first. She also mentioned that they got people walk out without paying. I dont want to make things bigger and just say ok. I check my bank while we still waiting for our food and my card did got charged for the food we didint eat yet and other new customers arrived and didnt get their card put on hold like us. read more

Felt like a newbie when I walked in, but by the time I left I had a whole new group of friends and family. THAT WAS 20+ years ago. It's the perfect neighborhood bar with great food and atmosphere. Patio outside with misters making it very comfortable to enjoy outdoor dinning. The jukebox and plenty of TV's are fully present for all your entertainment needs, with karaoke, bingo, trivia and more to add to the nights fun.
