I always have a great time at this place. I have never had anything I didn't like. I got the prime rib and cheddar croissant it was really great! The wings were good too. I love the sangria. Andrew is a amazing love everything he makes. Great service.

My wife and I just moved into the Troon North area, and decided to stop by "the club" for dinner. They were very busy. I had made a reservation for a table indoors, as it was chilly out, but we nonetheless waited about 45 minutes to be seated. That was OK, we grabbed a glass of wine from the bar and sat in the club chairs near the entrance to the building. There was a wedding going on and we enjoyed seeing the wedding party doing their behind the scenes stuff. The hostess was very friendly and apologized for the wait profusely. Once seated, service did not meet our expectations on friendliness or attentiveness. Our server was slow to make her first stop at our table, and visited infrequently. That said, once we had placed orders, runners had the food out promptly. We started with the Deviled Eggs of the Moment which were tasty, and I had the Angus Beef sliders which were ample and had good flavor. My wife had the prime rib special, and asked for it rare. It was brought out medium / medium well by a runner. She waited several minutes for the server to return and when she mentioned the issue, was met with obvious disdain by the server. The server very reluctantly took the dish back to the kitchen and a couple of minutes later a runner came out with a fresh cut and announced that this was "as rare as it's going to get". I was disappointed with this first experience, and hope I'll be able to convince my wife to return. A better attitude from the server along with better handling of the prime rib request would have been appreciated.

    Gluten free clearly labeled

Solid 4 star experience! Lunch with a beautiful peaceful view. Got a table for 4 with a golf course view. Pretty crowded for a Tuesday afternoon. The service was a little slow but the server was polite and friendly. So happy to see the menu was clearly labeled with gluten free choices. There were 4-5 gluten free items to pick from. I got the gluten free cactus bob salad and my friend got the sunset ahi tuna sliders. Nothing special about my salad but seeing the gluten free label made me feel better. The tomatoes tasted a little soggy and old but other than that is was good. My friend said her slider was delicious. The gluten food actually looked really good. My salad was $13. Food probably 3 1/2-4 stars View 5 stars Nice place for lunch in North Scottsdale. I will be back!

Place is a gem to eat and enjoy the awesome view. Had a burger and cobb salad. Both were top notch! Will definitely bring more people back here to impress for sure.

This place was awesome! Came here for lunch and the service was great. Sat along the window with a view of the golf course. The prices were not bad at all and definitely recommend this restaurant. The burger was cooked to perfection. The chips and salsa/guac were also amazing!

I come here often for breakfast, which is always good. They're open early and are usually pretty quiet since most of their early am crowd are headed to the links. But if it's Tuesday I'm usually here with my friends and neighbors enjoying great margaritas and they're changing menu of $2.50 tacos! Beautiful views and always very friendly service.

I want to star with our appetizers, we ordered a ceviche in a watermelon sauce it was good, I'd like to say that to me it needed a little more hit and few other spices, outside of that it is a very refreshing dish. We also ordered the Ibérico pork skewers and probably that's one of my favorite start dish and a very long time, it was very nice! My entree was the Wagyu New York, it was perfectly cooked just how I like. Overall really nice place, definitely a hidden gem in North Scottsdale area and deservingly 5 stars.

Inspired by his roots in Puebla, Mexico, this curated dinner was more than a meal--it was storytelling through food. The Esquite de Trufa Negra immediately set the tone, the Al Pastor Halibut completely exceeded my expectations, and the traditional flan was the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening. The name really fits because there are several different seating areas, including cozy groupings with soft couches and chairs, traditional dining tables, bar seating and an outdoor patio. There is also a separate larger room that looked great for groups. It's nice enough for a fun night out or date night, but the overall feel is relaxed and casual, so you definitely don't need to dress up. We went for a girls' Happy Hour, specifically because the Wine Wall sounded like so much fun, but one of the things I really liked about The Living Room is that you absolutely don't have to be a wine drinker to enjoy it. They also have a reasonable, well rounded menu and signature drinks. Happy Hour is weekdays from 3-6 PM. The menu offers $2 off wines by the glass, draft beers, signature and well cocktails, as well as the bruschetta and flatbreads. So one person could come for wine and bruschetta, and someone else could enjoy a beer with flatbread, or have something from the regular menu. There are salads, soups, sandwiches, sushi rolls, food from the grillI, and starters. We first shared the Artichoke Spinach Dip. I feel like the dip is a portion for one, as you can see in my photo; it's in a small ramekin, but the chips are fantastic and sharable. I had the "fried rice with steak, chicken and shrimp topped with a fried egg." The "steak" was tiny little pieces, not slices, but the portion of fried rice was very generous and filling. It's a "Starter" that was a "meal" for me. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the food prices are. Now for the Wine Wall, because this is such a fun part of the experience! You're given a Tasting Card that works somewhat like a debit card for the Wine Wall. You tap the card at the WineStation, choose the wine you want and then select a 1 oz, 3 oz or 6 oz pour. Each wine and pour size has its own price, and every selection is added to your Tasting Card. At the end, the accumulated amount is transferred to your restaurant check as one "Wine Wall" charge. Our server was wonderful about showing us how everything worked. He walked us over to the Wine Wall, explained the system and dispensed our first glasses for us. Later, when he asked if we wanted more, my friend ordered another 3 oz Silver Oak and he brought it right to our table, so we didn't even have to get up again. If the Wine Wall is one of the main reasons for your visit, there are couches and tables right by it. You might want to choose that area if you plan on trying 1 oz. tastes of several wines. We enjoyed two excellent Cabernets from the Wine Wall: Caymus and Silver Oak. I had a 3 oz Caymus, a 3 oz Silver Oak, and my friend had a 6 oz Caymus and 3 oz Silver Oak. Our total Wine Wall charge was $83. We're already looking forward to returning for what will feel like a different experience by having white wine and sushi outdoors on a cool evening. I could definitely see The Living Room becoming an easy choice for a casual Happy Hour or dinner with friends.

The murder mystery experience was so interactive and so much fun! If I'm honest I'd pay just for the murder mystery but the food options weren't great in flavor. The appetizer (bacon wrapped dates) only came with two small ones, and the fig app was even smaller they looked the size of peanut size m&m's. The main dishes were also not great, the skewers were lacking in flavor and the polenta had a weird texture. The tri tip just came out without any ask to cooking temp and was overcooked (well done). The dessert was probably the best tasting of the meal and it was nothing to write home about. Overall I would go out for the murder mystery but maybe hold out for a better menu.
