Dr Mao I went to so many dental offices but none of them were good, except this one. Staffs here are so nice and extremely friendly, assistants are all very friendly as well. But the credit should be mostly to Dr.Mao. At first we tried to make an appointment with Dr.Ta because of the review, but I wasn't able to, so the staff assigned us this young doctor Dr.Mao, but out of expectation, he is very caring, explains thing in details before every single step, very gentle when doing any procedures, extremely patience with elderly. Not only Dr.Mao, but also another Korean doctor who performed the procedure too. Both of them tried everything to fix the dental problems, very patiently. From this positive experience, I made myself an appointment for the very first time too. Due to the previous treatments in other dental office, I continuously having toothache every day, Dr.Mao could immediately stated the problems from just examining and some closer look at the X-ray. He adjusted something out I literally felt better, he said if it's not getting better, he will advise me something else. I like that he wasn't rushing customers to extract the tooth, do root canal, put a crown bla bla bla etc... He gave some genuine advices on how to keep enamel better or so, which other dental office would just suggest you to pay for some fluoride or dental cleaning treatment. He tried everything to fix your problems in the simplest way first before further needs in worst case scenarios! They are meticulous with there work but also fast, they don't give you these long drawn out appointments. If they have a opening there going to try and knock out all the work as soon as your insurance provider approves it. Also they accept denti-cal and give do excellent work. they did all my fillings, chipped tooth and root canal the same day, on top of gum surgery to get my infection out. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful, especially Marina at the front desk! I was a little concerned with how some of the things they had done in my mouth weren't quite working as hoped. I was thinking of checking out a new place but because of Marina's kindness and positivity I decided to give them another try and I'm really glad I did! They were able to fix the issues with no problem! The only reason I gave 4 starts is because of how rushed the Dr has felt at all of my appointments. I could tell he was very focused on the task at hand and was kind enough to check in to make sure I was ok but the overall feeling was that he was pulled in a lot of different directions and I was concerned if he was really present for my care. All ended well and I am happy to recommend them, I just feel that Dr. Leo could take some deep breaths to feel a little more grounded for his patients vs the hurried & distracted vibe that I got. read more

I went in for a visit today as a new patient. Dr. Mao was awesome and I want to return, he's the best! My rating is low due to my experience with an assistant. On 3/3/26 at 8am I was having my x-rays taken by an assistant with curly black hair. She was extremely rude to me the whole time and was gossiping about me to another colleague named "Angie." Everyone else there was cool, except for that girl. She was in such a rush to get my x-rays that I almost told her I'd need to be helped by another assistant If she was going to be so rough and rude. read more

Dr. Ta replaced a large bridge with three implants and subsequently a temporary bridge. I had to be awake during the procedure and he talked me through everything he was doing. He worked fast while being thorough - I guess that comes with experience. Most importantly though: after the procedure my gums healed with no further complication. I honestly could not be happier and the temporary bridge I received is the best looking bridge I have ever had. In summary: Dr. Ta and his staff know what they are doing! Dental work can be expensive, but with him it's money well spent. I'll be happy with the work for the rest of my life. read more

Experienced some really bad TMJ issues and couldn't bite down which made eating extremely difficult. Also have preexisting conditions with a prior bridge that possibly attributed to the TMJ issue. Went through the medical process to obtain dental insurance which 925 Dental accepts (thank god. The list of other providers seemed a bit sketch). I am very particular about dentists as I've had prior doctors give me the run around which ended in having to extract 2 molars. Saw the one 5 star review for this place and decided to give it a try. Immediately upon arrival I was greeted warmly by the front staff and filled the necessary paperwork. Very friendly staff and listened to my concerns and issues, and felt I was being helped by genuine people. During the consultation, I was able to express my concerns to the Dentist and what I loved was, after the X-rays, he came in and after listening to my concerns, and gave me multiple options and recommendations on how to treat my issues. I knew he was genuine because prior dentists have told me a ton of treatments for an upsell - which is why I was so nervous - but he definitely let me know it wasn't as bad as prior suggestions. Since I have to wait for medical authorization to have the procedure that was recommended to be done with medical - I'll have to update once it's approved and the exam is done. But really, finding a dental office that made me feel safe, cared for, and displayed professionalism - is a huge factor. I most definitely will be coming back and look forward to doing work with this office. read more

My uncle was recently diagnosed with throat cancer, and doctor referred him to Dr. Ta for dental examination because he needed radiation treatment. We already had our own dentist, so we didn't understand why we needed to go to this office. When we met Dr. Ta, he was very pleasant and took his time with our appointment. Dr. Ta explained that radiation affects mouth and teeth strongly, and we needed to discuss many things not covered in regular dental exam. He went over so much information during the exam. Even when our time went over a bit, he never rushed us and answered all our questions. My uncle needed a tooth extraction, which was luckily covered by Kaiser. Dr. Ta offered to do it the same day, but we decided to come back next day to let my uncle relax and not stress. The extraction was quick, and my uncle had no complaints. I can't speak more highly of Dr. Ta. I had a toothache from an infection that got so bad I was up all night with an ice pack on my face counting the minutes until morning. The pain was unreal. He was able to get me in early, and the tooth was out by 10am. Dr. Ta's bedside manner is excellent, and despite the pain, he was very reassuring and great with explaining the issue and post-removal care. I came to this office because I needed an implant to replace a tooth that broke a few years back and needed to be pulled. My dentist referred me to an oral surgeon, and they told me that they wouldn't be able to place an implant without bone grafting and a sinus lift to make more room. Even with my insurance, I was looking at a few thousand dollars out of pocket. And this doesn't even include the crown that my dentist was going to place on the implant. I thought that was crazy because I have a really good Delta Dental plan that covers 80% for implants. I decided to come here to 925 Dental for a second opinion. The consultation and 3D X-ray was free, and the dentist was easy to talk to. He said that the bone was a little narrow because of the tooth being missing for a few years, but he could still put an implant in without needing to bone graft and didn't charge for the sinus lift. Best part of it all, he quoted me about $500 for the implant AND the crown. I ended up going with Dr. Ta for the implant, and it ended up being much easier than I thought. I was awake for the procedure and was in and out in less than an hour. He put a protective cover over the implant and said we need to wait 4 months for bone to heal around the implant before we put the crown on it. Highly recommend if you need an implant at a reasonable price. read more
