This restaurant hits it hard. My dinner started off with an order of Brussels sprouts for my wife and I. I don't even like eating Brussels sprouts ever but these, OMG! Absolutely delicious! Came in for lunch on the weekend and got seated right away since there were only a few other people there. The food ended up being pretty mediocre. One person ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it came out with no bacon on it. My chicken sandwich felt a little burnt. Let's start with the service. We arrived for lunch at about 11:45 and were one of only two couple in the place. The bartender was chatty, too chatty. As a few more diners arrived the gents next to us sat with empty glasses and we waited for food while bartender chatted with two women in a booth behind us for at least 10 minutes. Our food...that ultimately arrived barely warm. The food, worse. My wife had a chicken Caesar wrap and side of brussel sprouts. If you want over roasted Brussels drenched in balsamic these are right in your wheelhouse. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken wrap. For those that have actually good Nashville Hot Chicken, giving this wrap that name should be a crime. However, the fries on the side were pretty decent, a welcome relief to the wrap. I have been to Stagecoach many times, but never made a review. Overall, I find Stagecoach to have the most consistent quality of food in our area. the drinks are good--however, if you are looking for a good Old Fashioned or martini, I would skip this bar. I find the staff to be nice and attentive. Once entering the restaurant, someone is always there by the bar or at the host stand to greet me. I love the western theme inside and found they have great daily deals in Lockport. read more

This place is very unique with an exceptional theme and atmosphere. I like sitting in the booths near the bar where there's a sliding window from the kitchen--the chef can slide it open, scare the crap out of you, and hand you your food! It definitely adds to the fun. They're also one of the few places that offer the Horseshoe, the famous sandwich invented in Springfield. Fun place, good food, and great people. read more

Could be the best place to drink or eat in Lockport. It has this Western theme going on, but doesn't feel extremely hillbillyish like a few other local pubs. Stagecoach has drinks but the food is good too. Also it's not all unhealthy stuff from the fryer. The prices are pretty okay for the portions and quality. After looking up places to eat in Lockport, we came here. It was Tuesday so they had the tequila special going on. This was available as margaritas or whatever. It's $6 on Tuesdays all day. We of course had to get something to eat too. Amazingly they have a few vegan friendly options. I got the Impossible BBQ Wrap. Good amount of food. It's about $16 for the wrap and a side. The wrap has a vegan patty with barbecue sauce, veganaise, and typical burger toppings like lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Filling. The Impossible Burger was the other thing we ordered and it was about the same, almost as good. For sure this place would be the spot if eating in Lockport again. Apparently, their menu prices were updated but the old menus were being used still with the old prices and we were not told that until after the check came. Tried asking about why the price discrepancy and got told "I'm just the waitress here!" What a response to give. When asked for a kids menu our waitress huffed walked over to a dirty table grabbed a little bin from the dirty table and dropped it on our table. When we were ordering we asked what kind of mac and cheese they served (homemade, kraft etc...) got told in a rude way - homemade. We asked for iced tea unsweetened and they were out. So this last time that I ordered To-Go and the impossible burger that I've had a few times and actually was good until this time, starting off with the brown lettuce which they are notorious for... the impossible burger which they switched to a thin patty, not what they used to serve , burnt it to a Crisp .. When looking at the menu some of the things we wanted were not available but that could be supply and demand but what we were able to order was good quality. I had to give an updated review on Stagecoach. I use to love coming here. Food was great, staff was engaging, always would recommend to friends and family. I have been here over 20 times dining, also a handful of take out orders. The food has gone down hill over the last few months. I even got sick about an hour after eating here with my last visit. The kitchen staff seems like a bunch of blow off kids that chain smoke in the back. The food quality has gone down the drain. Staff is still attentive but just doesn't seem well run anymore. Drinks are mediocre, beer menus are distgusting, food is super inconsistent. What happened!? Will give another shot in a few months. We will see, in the meantime not going to be recommending to my friends and family anytime soon. read more

Be careful when you order. I order a gin and tonic twice,and watched them pour the well gin two times. When I closed they up charged me for "Bombay Sapphire". I brought it to the bartenders attention, and she snatched the check out of my hand quickly and then eventually rung me up for the well with attitude. Caught in the act! This is my third time at stagecoach. The first time just happened to be karaoke night. The service was awesome and the people were jovial. The second time I came, I sat on the patio. There is so much space, yet I could casually converse with friends near by. This is the third time.... it's a Friday afternoon, the weather is great and my dog and I are hard chillin on the patio. #steaksandwich I have yet to encounter those young people who just wanna get smashed or those old folks who complain about how expensive everything on the planet is or all prudish about requires uniforms. No let me start off by saying that their service is really, really slow. The food is really good though, the macaroni and cheese it's always fresh and delicious V cornbread casserole is just shy of amazing. Their burgers are always cooked to perfection and the toppings are always fresh, the bone is never soggy and the waffle fries are always hot and crispy. For the most part I only order to go and I've never had a problem picking up my order, the only real problem about entering the establishment is that they are not following the Covid guidelines. Every single time I go there none, I repeat none of the staff is masked. I recommend the food here is being delicious, hearts and well prepared. I highly recommend ordering to go. I cannot recommend dining in, specially if you think your server should be masked. If the wait staff would Quicken things up on par with to go orders I would give them one more star. If the staff wore masks I would give them one more star.
