Let me start with this: I do not like wine. I've tried for years. I've ordered it at dinners, events, girls' nights... and I've rarely even been able to finish a glass. That's how much I typically dislike the taste. My preference? Sweet and fruity. Think Jolly Rancher candy. The only exception I've ever found was Ice Wine, which is rarely carried in restaurants or wine bars. So when we attended a work event here, I was honestly looking forward to the company more than the drinks. But I decided to be honest with our waitress. I told her I don't like dry wine, I prefer sweet, and asked if she had any recommendations. She introduced me to Sangue Di Giuda (Italy -- fruity, light, medium sweet, low alcohol)... and for the first time ever, I found a wine I genuinely enjoyed. I could actually sip it without making a face. At around $8 a glass, it felt very reasonable. They also offer full bottles for purchase, which I love as an option if you find something you enjoy. Beyond the wine, the atmosphere makes this place special. It's warm, relaxed, and perfect for conversation. It feels elevated without being stuffy -- the kind of place where you can linger and talk without feeling rushed. So this review is for two groups: * Wine lovers looking for a great experience * And the "I don't like wine but I'm here anyway" crowd Be honest about what you like. Let the staff guide you. I have come here a few times for their wine tastings and really enjoy it. The staff and owner are always super friendly and there always seem to be a good amount of regulars. The wine tastings are Thursday 5-7 and do not disappoint it's a great way to try new wines and they give you a discount on bottles of the wines sampled that night. The ambiance is warm and inviting and the music is just the right genre/volume so you are still able to chat and catch up while sipping. This is a great one stop shop for premier wines - we have come in a few times and told them our favorite notes/food it's going with and they help you find the perfect bottle. Good little wine spot. It gets busy here so come early. The service is never that great unfortunately, but everyone is friendly. I've only been there a couple times when a live singer was performing and, like many other places, it was so loud you had to try and talk over it. They do have decent food and wine menu, both with reasonable prices. And ladies' night on Tuesday offers a great discount on house wine. I personally prefer to buy a bottle from their extensive selection along the walls as I don't really like any of the by-the-glass options. Went to grab wine for two and a flatbread (for my wife). We sat outside so that I could get food from Filo Greek next door. Wife ordered the wine and flatbread while I walked the dog. I then ordered my pita, sat down and waited....and waited for her flatbread. I went inside after 40 ish minutes and inquired about its whereabouts. They said that "a few other orders were in front of us and that it should be out soon." Hmmm... 15-20 minutes later the flatbread came out. It was very good, but not worth an hour wait. Will return because the place is so nice, but next time, no food, wine only. read more

Stoped here to have drinks before our vacation date night dinner. The place is in a little strip mall. But once inside, it's perfect for just some friends and wine. We ordered some cheese and crackers. Just enough to hold us over before dinner. Husband is a big wine drinker, I stay with my usual sweet wines, so he had more options to choose from. But, this did not take away from my experience here. All the cheese were good on our board. Husband chose to do a wine flight. You don't get to choose which wines you'd like to try, so that was a bummer. What he did try, though, he liked. Ended up buying two bottles of a recommended Spanish wine, even though he didn't try it. The crowd was low key. The staff we interested with were polite. One was originally from Rockford. Spoke to us about the Cubs. Pretty cool! I wish we had a place like this closer to home. Definitely a good time here! read more

Came here in early January after I just moved here from California (Sonoma County). It was refreshing to know I could go somewhere for wine. I thought all Hope was lost. The French woman that helped my husband and I was very knowledgeable about wine, aerated it well, had great suggestions, great conversationist, and catered to us unless she had to run to other customers HOURS: 11:00am - 09:00pm-- Monday 11:00am - 10:00pm-- Tuesday - Thursday 11:00am - 11:00pm-- Friday & Saturday 11:00am - 06:00pm-- Sunday PROS: - I moved again but it was local to me - knowledgeable staff about wine - delicious small plates options that were great - Some bottle prices are really fair like "Prisoner" - Really enjoyed the woman that served us and discussed the different wines. She had a great description for palette CONS: - we were sold a bottle of wine here for one price. When we went back to the shop later that week to purchase it again it was $6 more and we were told we were sold it at wrong price. - you can buy wine from there but if you want to drink it there there's a corkage fee. This place is absolutely stunning!! Such a little gem in port orange. The environment is very pleasant. The charcuterie board was delicious and adorable with little butterfly crackers. They had Tommy Bryant performing live music and it was lovely. They have a vast selection of wines and everything we tried was great. Their wines (especially the house wines) are affordable. My wife and I were in search of a spot to relax with a glass of wine and a cheese board. 95 and Vine not only meet our expectation, but surpassed it by enough that a visit will now be a "Must" with each trip to Florida. The selection on wines is exceptional, and has been made thoughtfully - but most importantly, the experience that can only come when your bar is staffed with pourers who get excited about what they are sharing... that's the key. Went there to see what the place was about. Their selection was pretty good considering how small it is. Prices were what I expected, a little higher than most places that just sell wine (ABC, Total Wine, Publix, etc). I guess that's because you can pick a wine, pay a corkage fee, and have it there. The owner seems a bit "too eager" to sell his products; a bit of a turn-off to me. He is knowledgeable though. I guess if you want to go somewhere, have some wine, a small selection of apps. I guess it's alright. It's not too busy. Not my style though. To me, I like to enjoy wine WITH a great meal, pop that cork and start enjoying it while making the food with someone, have it with your food, and then bask later with some great company, chocolate, and your wine. Went here the Friday after Thanksgiving. Place was happening. Wonderful crowd with even better live music. Had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed their wine selection. Prices were competitive so I purchased a bottle of wine and an aerator to go too. Purchased a bottle for consumption there and uncorking fee was a reasonable $5. Great prices. Recommend. Our go to spot for girl's night. Great selection, always helpful and friendly service whether you are drinking there or just stopping in to shop for a bottle. The cheese plates are a nice touch. The live music can sometimes be a little loud if you are seated next to the performers, but there are outdoor tables and seating in the back if you prefer.
