Grilled Octopus

We were visiting Daytona Beach and stumbled into this delicious restaurant. We had the lobster bisque and grilled octopus. I mean even the bread and butter were amazing. The service, ambiance and decor were great.

Where to start? Drinks were absolutely fantastic. I got the mushroom shallot pizza and it was 10/10. Vibe was awesome. I loved this place.

We decided to try 35 Bistro & Wine Bar tonight, and we're so glad we did! From start to finish, everything was fantastic. The old-fashioned my partner had was great, and we had excellent service throughout our visit. The bread and butter while waiting on our food was warm, fresh, and a perfect start to the meal. I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection, and the dressing on the house salad was light, healthy, and full of flavor. He had the lasagna, which was hot, cheesy, and absolutely comforting. Constantine, our bartender and server, was incredible--polite, friendly, and welcoming. We're already looking forward to going back and can't wait to take friends with us next time. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like this place. The restaurant itself looked good and the server we had was so nice but the food was just okay. We had French onion soup, cocktails, a burger, and pasta. Would not get the soup again at all but would go back for cocktails and potentially try other items on the menu.

We happened upon 35 Bistro and I am so glad we did! The ambiance is wonderful, French music and the decor is beautiful, the owner really put the finer touches from the fixtures to the hand painted murals that are one of a kind. The food was spectacular! The chef outdid himself. We had authentic lobster bisque and French onion soup, the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce and the seafood risotto! Fabulous! Such a hidden treasure, we will be regulars! Highly recommend. Service was impeccable. Our waiter Art was very attentive. Thank you for the experience.

This restaurant was the perfect stop to have date night with my husband. The stake was cooked to perfection and my espresso martini was delicious. Ishbell and Carlos took care of us and they were very attentive and professional. High end service. We had an amazing time here!

We got the crab dip. It came with crostini, yay! It is surprising how many places around here…read moreserve fish dip or crab dip with crackers. And the "other" wine bar in Ormond Beach doesn't even have bread in the restaurant. The crostini were freshly made, with a touch of garlic. The crab dip was delicious and had lumps of crab in it. Very filling. This wine bar has a lot of European and South American wines, not just CA. And the woman working there was pretty knowledgeable. She also encourage us to taste the wines before committing to a glass, which was appreciated since most glasses are $15+. We both got red blends and they were both good. The atmosphere is very laid back, not pretentious. There are clear signs that everyone is welcome here, straight, gay or otherwise. the couches are beckoning, and the conversation pits are well set up. We were here right after opening, around 5pm. And at first it was empty but that didn't make us feel awkward because the staff were attentive without being intimidating. They were very welcoming. We left saying we willl go back when we have more time and appetite and try sitting at a couch instead of the bar.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 20yrs. It's just as wonderful as I remember it…read more Servers/bartenders are always a pleasure and great service. The food just brings back so many happy memories and quality and portion size is great for cost. I always love just looking around and staring at the walls & shelves. You never know what you might spot. This time I ended up brining home Pickle beer after curiosity won and a chat with a bartender. It was fun brining my oldest back and sharing memories with him. Definitely give the schnitzel cordon bleu sandwich out on a brioche bun. That was absolutely divine! This is probably the only original thing left in the Volusia Mall at this time. It's a gem!

This place is decked out with tons of vintage signs, cool craft beer and a nice deli menu with tons of options. The atmosphere was really cool. When I went to the mall to go to stores, I didn't expect this to be my favorite place. I don't know what I'm gonna eat. Next time I go back, but I will definitely be trying one of their beers from there. absolutely huge collection of options. I got the Reuben sandwich because I asked and that's what they told me was the best seller. It was a nice sandwich that I didn't think was too overly priced. $13 for a Reuben on rye bread and with potato chips. It definitely deals and looks like it's a Volusia County Staples. If you're in the area, you should at least walk by and look around.
