This looked like a really nice place when we walked in. The sign at the door asked us to wait to be seated. There was almost no one in the place, yet we had to go to the bar after about 5 minutes to get seated. The bartender was also the server, and I got the idea also the owner. She never slowed down, to the point that you could not ask questions or get additional items. The atmosphere was very rushed. My wife ordered the shrimp and scallops and I ordered the bolonese. When our food arrived, the scallops were the tiny bay scallops that are not even a full bite. She was pretty dissapointed in this but it didn't say sea scallops so she didn't say anything. The bolonese was TERRIBLE. It was advertised as having meat sauce, there was no meat, it was not creamy at all.It taste just like hunts canned spaghetti sauce with nothing added. When I told the server it was not good, she snatched it off the table and took it to the back. No apology, didn't ask if I wanted anything else, just took it away. The cook did come out to ask what was wrong, when I said it taste like a can, he had no response, only asked if I wanted something else. I had to eat so I ordered the burger with fries. This came out fine, a little undercooked, but that is sometimes what you get when you order a medium burger. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. This is supposed to be a French place, there are very little French dishes, a lot of Italian dishes, and a decent burger. THis is not a place I would return to. read more

What an amazing night in Daytona Beach last night. It started with an incredible meal at 35 Bistro on Main Street. The food was incredible and we absolutely loved the Cabernet Sauvignon from BekJorden from Alexander Valley. This wine was elegant, with a great nose and a beautiful lingering finish. Truly a gorgeous wine. The wine went so well with our meals and the service was impeccable! Ask for Ben, he rocks! We then migrated over to The Bank and Blues Club, just a short walk away, to see one of our favorite bands, Are Friends Electric. What a show!! Andrea and Jeremy were so fantastic, as was the entire band! Gavin was rocking on that sax!! Just a great way to spend a Friday night in Daytona! Folks really need to discover 35 Bistro, a true hidden gem! read more

Extremely disappointed with this place. We had a 6:30p reservation and arrived 15 minutes early. Waited 6 minutes at the hostess stand waiting to be greeted. The restaurant had five 4 top tables with guests as well as 4 people at the bar. The kicker is they only had two front of house employees. Once sat, 5 minutes later we were provided water and menus. Shortly thereafter 3 pieces of sourdough and butter were delivered . Yes, 3 slices for two people. The menu was decent except they were out of the duck and burgers. It also doesn't match their online menu. Another group of four arrived and were sat promptly and immediately offered water, menus, and bread. We then waited 12 more minutes before we finally gave up on getting our order taken. We left hungry and discouraged with our experience. Not sure we would return. They are extremely understaffed and disorganized. read more

We decided to try 35 Bistro & Wine Bar tonight, and we're so glad we did! From start to finish, everything was fantastic. The old-fashioned my partner had was great, and we had excellent service throughout our visit. The bread and butter while waiting on our food was warm, fresh, and a perfect start to the meal. I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection, and the dressing on the house salad was light, healthy, and full of flavor. He had the lasagna, which was hot, cheesy, and absolutely comforting. Constantine, our bartender and server, was incredible--polite, friendly, and welcoming. We're already looking forward to going back and can't wait to take friends with us next time. We happened upon 35 Bistro and I am so glad we did! The ambiance is wonderful, French music and the decor is beautiful, the owner really put the finer touches from the fixtures to the hand painted murals that are one of a kind. The food was spectacular! The chef outdid himself. We had authentic lobster bisque and French onion soup, the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce and the seafood risotto! Fabulous! Farrah the owner was truly the most welcoming . I randomly stumbled across this gem while trying to find something to eat that wasn't a boardwalk slice of pizza or fried crab cake . On the reviews there was a delicious looking pasta dish that wasn't on the menu currently . When Farrah caught word she greeted me and graciously offered to make it for me . I was taken back by the offer and soon realized I was not in a restaurant I was in an establishment that curated its customer experiences . Toby the bartender helped me select the perfect full body cab to compliment the pasta dish . As someone who has never been to Daytona I am leaving with the fondest memory. Located on Main Street among T-shirt shops and tattoo parlors, 35 bistro and wine bar offers an charming atmosphere, great cocktail menu, a highly curated wine list with an emphasis on French wines, and an eclectic French-inspired menu. Yet, it did not feel overly pretentious, hitting the right note between welcoming and elegant dining. I had a glass of Boudreaux and the summer vegetable ratatouille. From the start the server was imperious, telling us there was no happy hour when we walked past a chalkboard advertising happy hour to our seats. I ordered the lobster bruschetta. When it arrived, the toast it was served on was stale. When I called the sever's attention to the bread being stale, he argued with me and told me it was not stale. I responded I knew what that stale toast tasted like. My friend's burratta was also served with stale toast. He took my bruschetta and returned it in a bowl accompanied by a basket of toast. I didn't order a bowl of tomatoes and tiny bits of lobster. I feel that I that my order should have been recreated. My husband ordered a Pisco sour cocktail, which was not Pisco and not sour. My husband and I received our bill, gave the receipt and debit card to the waiter, and the waiter came back with our card but with a totally different receipt with a different bill total amount and different dinner items that we did not order or eat. The manager came out and took the wrong bill that was given to us and our card and reassured that it would be refunded. We signed our original bill after the manager came back. On March 1, 2026 we not only got charged our original bill but the other extra bill that was not ours. After speaking with the owner, she was now telling me the story of why we were charged because of someone else at my table was on her phone, not paying attention and that bill was added to my bill without my consent. That was not the original story that happened as the manager reassured us that we were refunded for the mistake that was made on the restaurants end. The owner has now blocked my phone number as I cannot reach her via phone or text now. What an absolute loser and CROOK. read more

Probably the best food in Daytona Beach! The staff were amazing, friendly and even went out of her way to make a frozen mojito! The pesto sauce was the best I have ever had (words simply cannot describe how delicious it was)! I would be here everyday if I could! Thanks for the hospitality! Ate at 35 Bistro tonight in Daytona. The food was great and the wine selection was unique and paired well with the dishes. The chef was friendly and engaged with the customers. The staff, warm and welcoming. We sampled the burrata appetizer, the 3 day bolognese (pasta fresh from Italy pasta) and the seafood pasta with shrimp, clams, mussels, and divers scallops (flown in fresh from Cape Cod).
