The establishment is open all year round; however, it's most 'happening' during those two events. It's a great spot to take a break and kick back in one of their chairs on the lawn in front of the building to enjoy an adult beverage, smoke a cigar or something more potent, and watch all the motorcycles go by. Traffic slows down here so you have an opportunity to see all the unique and custom bikes and people wearing all their wild biker garb. There are also hundreds of people walking back and forth between Iron Horse Saloon and Broken Spoke to see the big bands at each location, so you have an opportunity to see and meet a lot of cool and unique people if you're chilling here. During the larger motorcycle events motorcycle parking (in the general area) is typically $5 but you can find free spots if you know where to look. Parking for cars is usually around $20 but you can find $10 spots. Pricing fluctuates depending on how high capacity will be that evening; essentially, if Hair Ball is playing it's $20 for a car unless you arrive earlier in the day. The bar can get packed inside; they have some tables for dining-in but they are limited. There is also a nice patio in the back with more tables for dining. There is a stage for bands and there are usually bands playing all day during the big bike events. I don't think I've seen a 'bad band' here yet. I haven't eaten dinner here but we have tried their Sunday breakfast bar in the past. The buffet is $7 and it starts at 8:00am. A group of us like to go up in the morning to see the happenings here and before heading over to Broken Spoke, Iron Horse, or Teddy Morse's Harley to catch whatever early morning activities are going on. Staff is friendly, but it can be difficult getting a drink at times during peak hours. They don't have any beer stations around where you can just grab a beer and go like at main street, most people are passing through from Iron Horse to Broken Spoke and vice-versa, so they are more likely to order drinks at those two locations. There are some that might hang here for a while but they are usually waiting for an event to start somewhere else and just want to relax somewhere different for a while. It's not the cleanest place around and the bathrooms can get trashed here during large events. Honestly your best option for a restroom is the Porto potties at the Broken Spoke because they hire staff to maintain them during the events. You will find that the Porto Potties at Broken Spoke are much cleaner than the ones at Iron Horse. All-in-all, Beaver Bar is a great place to visit during the larger motorcycle events and if you're looking for a great spot to get away from the larger crowds, shop for a while, get a quick bite to eat, and relax for a few, than Beaver Bar is the place.

We are pretty picky on our enchiladas rancheros, this one is a little different but tasty in its own right! Would def get it again. However this place seems to be one of those Mexican restaurants where you may want to branch out and try a few new things off their menu and we may do just that next visit. The chicken in my Flautas was so tender and soft inside a fresh crunchy corn shell with excellent flavor - yummy!! The refried beans were delicious!!! To me if you can't get your refried beans right, then usually that means we won't be back. But not the case here!! :-)

When our food was delivered (by another server) he asked if we needed anything, I told him we ordered queso that we never got and my husband ordered a habanero salsa with his burritos that wasn't there. Well it took another 10 minutes before it was delivered. Marie (the first server) dropped the ball and it went downhill from there. We've brought friends here, met friends here, made friends here. We have come here to watch college football games, play trivia, or just to have a late meal after a sporting event. Recently we stopped by after the Daytona 500 and a had a late supper. Hubby had the salad, and I had a chili cheese dog which I had been craving. Both so filling and flavorful. We've tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Our waitress was friend and attentive; making sure we were never lacking in napkins or drinks. The atmosphere was, as always, family friendly with lots of families surrounding us, and everyone seemingly having a good time. So happy to have this restaurant as our go to whenever we're hungry or just want to hang out somewhere familiar and close to home.

This is the third time I've picked up food, brought it home, and then found out items were missing or wrong. As I was standing there waiting to correct my order there was at least one other person who was missing food or had the wrong items. I live 5 minutes away and was told it would be ready when I got there. Unfortunately, it took another 25 minutes to get my food. Just check the food off on the receipt when you put it in the bag maybe?
