The mask requirement at this location is ludicrous. We asked to be seated outside. The manager lied and said that masks were required by law, which they aren't in this state. We asked for masks and were told they do not supply masks. When we asked if we could walk around to the patio from outside to be seated, we were told that we had to be walked through the restaurant to get to the patio. The host at the entrance was wearing a mask made from t shirt material, so we offered to pull our t shirts up over our faces for the short walk from the entrance to the patio and were told that would not be sufficient. Meanwhile, there were people seated at the first table by the door (Not 6'away) who were allowed to remove their masks once they were seated. Tried the hot lobster roll. The lobster was fresh but over cooked and was like eating rubber. I substituted the fries for steamed veggies and they had very little seasoning. We chose this place hoping it would be better than Applebee's. Honestly, it was on the same level of quality with more of a limited menu compared to Applebee's. read more

Just had the worst experience ever! The waitress had us waiting 30 minutes before we ordered , we split some appetizers our chicken wings where cold so we asked for fresh ones those came out hot but still didn't taste well! waited another 30 minutes after eating for the check . The waitress didnt even ask how the second batch of wings where she just threw us a box and made it seem like a hasel she had to remove one order of wings from our check "cause she had to put it in twice to get the fresh ones " worst 70 dollars ever spent ! read more

Bad idea folks!!!....Or maybe I just caught them on a bad day. Waitresses are confused and disorganized, and portions are meager at best. I understand about keeping food costs down but don't order an entree salad unless you want just a handful of lettuce and barely anything else with it. I sent mine back and when I complained to manager, Moe, he did nothing but say "ok very good." OMG 99 has dunked their scrumptious lobster rolls for a bite size frankfurter. I used to spend about 500 dollars per summer and recommend 99 to all the people staying at a campground,with which I work,about their best in the nation lobster rolls. Not anymore!!!! Barbara, Littleton NH 1/13/2019 I recently went to Littleton NH 99 and I was very disappointed . I used to go there often. When I got there the booth was very dirty, the window frame was so dirty, you could tell it hadn't been clean for months. the waitress dress code is gone. They used to wear black pants and a clean white shirt, now it's any old shirt and jeans, and that not presentable to serve food. We started the night by ordering a beer and I asked for a glass, but was refused and was told in an unfriendly tone "no I only have frozen mugs" . I don't like mugs. All restaurants have glasses. There was no need for that. The waitress wasn't good at all, we ordered some appetizers, they came late and they were cold. The main meal wasn't as good as it used to be. The waitress never asked if we wanted anything else or how the food was, she wouldn't even say thank you at the end of night. She was the worst waitress I've seen in a long time and it was late at night and not bury at all. First time I didn't leave a tip.I have some gift cards, but I won't use the there. It needs new management and revamped. I won't be back anytime soon, I go to Applebee's. Much Better. read more

I love the 99! I first went to this restaurant a few months ago with a group of friends from work and I was blown-away. I had always heard the food was always gross and the service sucked but my food was great and the service was very friendly. Parking is easy and people great you right at the door. Although I do recommend getting a reservation because during most hours they are pretty busy. We had a reservation but there were people waiting in line for at least 5 minutes because they were so busy. read more

Normally this restaurant gives excellent service. We had a large party last Friday and were mostly ignored by our server Wendy. When one of the managers asked if we needed the appetizer plates I set aside, I remarked, clean ones would be nice. Ok, that was snarky of me, but do you think he would ask in more detail? Nope. Did you think he would at least inspect the ones he brought the second time? Nope. So, management didn't seem to care about filthy plates and our server was indifferent. Not sure why, but this 99 is worse than most. The lines and wait times are always long...we are talking 45 minutes or more. The staff hurries you so they can herd in more cattle. The place is dirty with all the traffic. It seems to attract the Walmart crowd. The portions are very small. You will go home hungry. Don't waste your time. Sunday afternoon late lunch/early dinner. Ordered 12 oz prime rib medium rare. 5 min goes by and our prime rib delivered to table and waitress rushes off. Prime rib looked more like pork it was so overcooked. I tried to cut it and it cut and looked like over cooked pork. Not even resembled medium rare prime rib(more like nuked prime rib. I told waitress and she took it back to kitchen. Came back to table with story that cook said the internal temp of that meat was right on for medium rare. What a crock- never heard such a thing. Waitress offered us slice from one just out of oven- we decline ( thinking where did the one come from we got served and should we expect different). We ordered ribs hoping for better results. Bad choice.Those too tasted like leftovers. The meat was old tasting covered with lots sauce( not even cooked with sauce) Terrible dining experience. Have eaten there numerous times before and maybe given it 3.0 stars and never would have complained or written a bad review. I hate the 99 restaurant chain! This one was really amazing. Great food choices. Updated clean areas. Don't listen to the low ratings, we almost didn't go because of them. We go here about once every 3 months. The food is always good. The staff on the other hand is sometimes great and sometimes terrible. Sometimes the hostess is rude because we need 2 high chairs and it's an inconvenience for some reason. Last time we went we didn't leave a tip because the waitress took so long to take our order, bring our food, and give us the check. It was a half hour after we finished eating when we finally got the check after I flagged her down. I mean the food is good and you get a lot for the price, but staff needs to be worked on. Even when we go alone without kids and sit at the bar one bartender that has worked there a long time is always rude. The fat is usually faster at getting food out and that's nice, but not if I'm going to be ignored when I've been waiting for another drink for 20 minutes.
