We tried their dinner. It wasn't as expected. Good to know that breakfast is served all day (I think)
Very warm day in the mountains and lunchtime tee time so we ate here. It has been years, the place has not changed and you get a lot of food for your money. Our waitress was all business- no hi , how are you, what do you want? My blueberry pancakes and sausages were good- nothing great but provided the fuel needed to endure 18 holes at Mt Washington . Pets are invited but remain on their patio. 3.5 stars. Wish the syrup was Real NH tapped syrup versus the store bought.
Truly hit the spot. We got the house made hash and it was delectable. The biscuit was tender and the cheesy grits were exactly what I needed. Very homey inside and everyone working there was so nice. Cannot wait to return
Classic diner experience with hearty food and huge servings. The veggie skillet was delicious - the potatoes were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The blueberry pancakes are loaded with berries and a short stack is the size of a normal order in most places. Kids can get a moose shaped pancake to keep things fun.
This place is super cute and family friendly. The menu is enormous, it was difficult to decide what to get! Staff was very friendly and our food came out quickly. The fried pickles were so good, the pickles don't come out of the breading if you take a bite! All food was incredible and very reasonably priced, will definitely be back to try the fiddleheads!!
Came for dinner. Had the Pot Roast with the potatoes and carrots and very soft and tasty onions. Corned Beef also with the same veggies combo. The meat was tender on both meats. The potatoes were perfectly cooked. So tender. I loved my cabbage! We got stuffed. Didn't have room for dessert. Fast Service and friendly staff. Maybe next time .
If you've read any of my other reviews, you know I'm always on the lookout for good corned beef hash. Munroe's tries their best and the flavor is very tasty. The only drawback is the fat left on the meat. Trimming it a bit would have resulted in a 5th star. Usually I like my grits with just butter, but these cheesy grits were quite nice (must be a northern thing). The service is great. My eggs first arrived with runny whites but were quickly replaced and cooked to my idea of perfect over easy. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. Not a grump in sight. This is truly a family affair, run by a family that knows hospitality and keeps family close, as evidenced by the wall of family photos. Definitely come and experience this locals favorite. Tip well!
My friends and I wanted to get breakfast before leaving from our trip in NH, and decided to go to Munroe's! They were able to quickly accommodate our large group. My friend and I shared the southwest skillet and the apple pie waffle! The southwest skillet was a great breakfast dish, with meat, veggies, and toast (everything you could ask for). The eggs just weren't done runny as we had asked, but it still tasted good. The apple pie waffle tasted a lot like apple pie and was delicious, but I was a bit too full from the skillet to eat much! All my friends loved their meals too, particularly the eggs benedict!
Food was fantastic. My wife is gluten intolerant and they have gluten free French toast, regular toast and cheesy grits. I got a meat lovers skillet ( pictured). The home fries were cooked perfectly and it was loaded with meat. The eggs were a little over cooked but still gets a five because it tasted so good. The pic is only half of my skillet. Taking a pic was an after thought.
Another great meal here the food is always consistent and the service great. I switched up the Cali chicken with fried chicken and it was delicious. Their fries are always so fresh. BLT was the other meal. No complaints here.

Great family diner style spot with a huge menu, big servings, and good prices. It's a busy spot so get there early or might have a wait. They have tables and a few stools at the counter as well. You'll get served quick and the food is cooked speedily as well! Ordered the hungry hiker for breakfast the day after a long hike, definitely restored a bunch of energy. You get your choice of options on everything which is always nice: the eggs, meats, bread, and potatoes. Biscuits were tasty, and the pancakes are massive. Cute little restaurant we visited for lunch after our Cog Railway trip up Mt. Washington. Clearly a local favorite. I started with clam chowder, which was unremarkable. The shining star was the Reuben Sandwich. Tender corned beef on perfectly grilled rye. Delicious! My husband had a plain steak and cheese, which he also enjoyed. Would visit again, if in the area. read more

Local joint. But if you're looking for some good down home cooking this is your place. Neat and clean. Delicious, hot breakfast. Service was excellent and attentive. Great alternative to expensive meals at the Omni Restaurants. read more

The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is goodvand serving size is pretty large. The turkey dinner comes with mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, bread, and cranberry sauce. Verry good and hearty. The firecracker shrimp salad had plenty of shrimp and was my favorite. The fish tacos are huge (comes with three) and are topped off by onion rings and fries. We weren't fond of the tacos though. read more

We always make a stop here for breakfast whenever we are remotely nearby on vacation. My husband always had great memories of this place when he vacationed as a kid and now we continue that tradition. The food is made with love and very reasonably priced . The service is always attentive and the girls do a great job of keeping upbeat no matter how busy it gets. It's a very, very popular place so there is usually a wait but I promise it's worth it. Highly recommend the corned beef hash and biscuits! read more

We found this great breakfast place by chance. We arrive 7/17 at 8:30am. The place is great little spot. The waitress (Ally?) was by far amazing. She was so good with my children. She made my son feel so great for his birthday. I appreciate her hard work. Look forward to coming back next year July 12,2025. The food was delicious and came out in a timely fashion even though they were busy. read more

The best reuben sandwich I've ever had. We ordered the grilled reuben, an omelette, and the blueberry pancakes. The omelette was ok. The pancakes were good, very fluffy and with plenty of blueberries. The reuben was amazing. Thick cut of homemade corned beef. I'm still thinking about it today. bonkers. read more

We stopped in after a hike and the food was definitely filling, but service was a bit slower than expected. The pancakes weren't our favorite, but the biscuits in the sausage gravy were fluffy and perfectly cooked! The whole meal was very affordable. 1. Pancakes - 3/5 2. Dear Craig, If your hungry, I found your place. Large portions of delicious food. Belgian waffles with local berries is flavorful. Bread is homemade. My favorite is the corn beef hash with rich flavors. Our server was so sweet and had a great memory. She remembered what we ordered the day before! Jack read more
