John was responsive, friendly and communicative and came to the house within a day to provide me with an estimate that I felt was very fair. He was transparent, describing in detail what areas of my property he thought would be more of a challenge to clean thoroughly, but was confident the house would be much cleaner when he was done...and he was right. On the day of the job, John arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule and was accommodating with our alternate side / street parking situation (this being Sunnyside). He and his assistant worked quickly and the results were stunning. In particular, our driveway, sidewalks and front steps are cleaner than we've ever seen them. John is fair and honest and a nice guy and really great at what he does. Don't hesitate to use him if you need power washing done.

Effectiveness: They probably got 20% of the grime off my brick house before telling me it was not possible to get it any cleaner. I have to believe that a company that does this routinely could have given me a heads up that the "textured brick" or whatever could have made cleaning impossible. On the sections that did get clean, e.g. bluestone elements, there are uneven spray patterns indicating that they didn't attempt to do everything they could. Overpriced because I paid the agreed price for way less than the agreed upon service. Somehow they also brought a social media guy out with a whole camera rig to film themselves _not_ getting my house clean, which was pretty funny.

They did a great job with my "dry clean only" silk blouse and I was happy to pay that price, as that was the specific care instructions for the garment. I would've gladly paid this rate for my other blouses and pants as well, as that is the care instructions on the tags. I brought in a couple 97-100% cotton button up shirts for Launder and Press where the care instructions clearly say to "launder" (machine wash with like, tumble dry low, warm iron). This is how they have been cared for at other cleaners for the last 10 years. I was DISCRIMINATED against for being a WOMAN, and was told my shirts did not qualify for this service and would need to be charged 140% more for the Blouse rate, which is dry cleaning. If the care instructions on the tag indicated this, I would've been happy to pay, however some say specifically to not dry clean and all say to launder. Originally I was charged the Laundered Shirt rate because they thought it was men's shirts. Just moved to JC and was looking for my go-to cleaners, where I can bring my rugs, comforter, work clothes, everything. I would've been a very loyal customer. They explained to me everything they brought the tailor out. They gave me a very reasonable price to repair my jacket zipper on my Montcler coat. I love having this place in the neighborhood. My wife is obsessed with this place so now I know why I will definitely be back for all my repairs. It's great that they have amazing customer service.

There are dressing rooms in the back and a platform to stand on in front of mirrors where the tailor sizes you up. Front desk people were super nice as well. A bit pricey but worth it and pretty fast turn around time. There's no parking in Hoboken so I had to uber here and then back home. There are nice shops surrounding the neighborhood and a cafe next door.

We needed a system and had not made space for the baby. I was very frazzled. Nina had a big challenge with us - organize everything into a system that worked for us, and create storage since we didn't want to get a storage unit. We usually don't have people over, especially to inspect everything closely. Nina made me so comfortable that I really felt like she was my friend! Over about 2 days, she made sure I rested while we talked motherhood. I loved it. We felt so comfortable that we went and got burgers at one point. Nina and her team guided us through going through our things to donate (basically being our therapists lol), and took them to donation sites for us. We told her what we needed for each space and what items we used most often to have them easily accessible. Then they went to work. Sorting, folding, organizing, building shelves and enhancing our space. We had some built in elfa shelves and she put them to maximum use. Nina created a storage unit under our bed by using lifts and these great giant cubes for clothes. The best part was them figuring out where we could put our baby's crib and items in our room. I'll never forget Nina's partner building our crib. It was the biggest weight off my shoulders and was such a luxurious and special experience. Nina even came back another day to touch up some places and organize our kitchen cabinets. Everything was transparent price-wise, and I was comfortable with everything purchased. Nina suggested items and then we decided if we wanted them or not, or she suggested alternatives. They were delivered to us and she set it all up. Seamless. This system served as a guide that gave us structure and one less huge thing to take care of during our first year as a family of 3. It allowed us to focus on baby.
