For Valentine's we sropped by to grab some brunch and coffee and we are so glad we stopped by here! Everyone was so kind and helpful, the barista and chefs were quick and we received our food quickly! There was a huge line but they powered through no problem. I think on a typical day it is not this busy but I could be wrong since this is my first time here. The music was relaxing and the tables were minimalistic but substantial. The four of us got a few different things from the menu. We tried the lox bagel, the triple bypass, and the croissant breakfast sandwich. We also tried their strawberries and cream February special coffee iced and it was a surprise! Everything was fresh and you can taste the love! This is a nice coffee shop in the downtown area of Clayton. They have a digital menu with specialty items along with all the standard coffee shop drinks on the wall. Of course I was in the mood for a bagel, so I chose the everything with cream cheese, and it was packed more that I wanted to each so I took some off. My Americano had room for cream of course so it all made for a great quick breakfast. Workers, parents, business people and passers by all seemed to really enjoy this shop whether seated at a regular table, a high one, the bar, or an outside seating option, it was all very inviting with friendly staff to help. I noticed a guy go around the corner and come back with pastries so when I turned the corner myself I noticed that the space is shared with a company Burney's who, on the way to the restroom, had a huge display of treats. Love love love Boulevard West! I've coming here for years, including on the morning of my wedding day. I got a big group order for my family while we were getting ready. Their lox bagel is my absolute favorite. I also like their blvd bypass sandwich! They have seasonal special drinks that are always worth a try! read more

The food and coffee are exceptional. The Açaí bowl is a favorite of mine and always tastes fresh. It's on the pricey side so be prepared to pay $20 for a drink and a meal. Service is fast and friendly! If the weather is nice, the staff open the windows which lets you enjoy the weather while still being indoors. read more

Cute little shop on Main St in Clayton. They have breakfast and lunch offerings as well as beverages. I am a huge fan of their bagels. So delicious! I am not a fan of the coffee however. I've tried the latte twice. It tastes bitter/burnt to me. My husband enjoys it tho. read more

I love how creative they get with their monthly specialty flavors and can't resist trying one out every time I go. Some of the flavors they've had in the past were the "Bee's Knees" Lavender Blackberry cold brew in Aril, the "Nutty Irishman", a hazelnut & Irish cream latte in March, a matcha and rose latte in February, a cinnamon toast crunch latte in September, a pumpkin, cinnamon, white mocha, and brown sugar latte in November, and a vanilla spiced eggnog latte in December. I really enjoyed my time here, girlfriend & I sat at the counter for roughly 2 hours chatting. I ordered a dirty chai with oat milk, she grabbed the caramel macchiato- we both enjoyed our drinks. Everyone was super friendly. I watched the employees fulfill orders & created happy customers. I noticed the lucky charm drink was popular along with the bacon egg & cheese everything bagel. It looked amazing but I don't like microwave meat & eggs however it seems to work well for this establishment (almost like Starbucks) This place truly offers a friendly neighborhood feel. Love when they open all of the front windows in the mornings when the weather is nice. Staff are friendly. They remember you when you come in regularly. Blvd West is a great place! First time there today, small, but fast paced. The people were so nice, calm and patient. They have a good few items for breakfast and lunch but I feel like if you do it really well, that's all you need! I had the Blvd Bypass with the Cheddar Jalapeño Bagel and a cappuccino with 1 pump of toffee nut. I could literally eat this breakfast sandwich every day of my life. I'm not HUGE fan of pimento, but this was more like cream cheese consistency, truly chefs kiss. I highly recommend it! read more

Coffee is a solid 5 stars. We have had the coffee specials of the day and really enjoyed them. Staff is friendly and efficient, don't have to wait long for drinks and food after you order at the counter. The food is ok. Had sandwiches here before - turkey and cheese had too much yellow mustard and the chicken salad had pickle and watercress that just did not hit the mark. Pound cake today is really cold that makes it not exactly pleasant to eat. Will come for coffee and skip the food going forward. read more

Dropped by on Saturday to see the new location of this Clayton favorite.. the verdict is "a Home Run"... the menu is expanded to add some really awesome choices. I'm a sucker for salmon, so I chose the Lox Bagel. She had the Feast breakfast sandwich. All are carefully made and delicious. Coffee was excellent, too. Service was prompt and friendly. At new location Our only disappointment is when people take up the tables for (at times) hours with no regard for incoming customers who would like to sit and enjoy their meal. People sit with their computers doing personal business (spotted people taking orders online, doing chats, even TikTok videos). There should be a posting that requires ppl to order a minimum of 35-40$ if you are going to occupy the space using free WiFi to conduct busy - not only are you deterring ppl who want to order and sit to dine in - but frankly, now if we don't see a table available - we leave & don't order & go elsewhere - so many ppl we know just don't bother going anymore. You are losing business allowing ppl to sit there for hours who only order a coffee and sit doing business of their own, thus the three star. read more

Well the move has certainly helped them out - Tuesday at 10:00 and the place is packed. They seem to have a functional ordering system, in that if you order food and drink it will actual be made for you. They are still struggling for staff with enough intelligence to run the place however. My coffee was made and put on the counter - no name called out. Nobody else claimed it, so I thought it might be mine. So I asked the person who made the drink (I watched them do it) what the drink was or who it was for. A glazed look came over his face, he actually looked at the ticket and then looked away and said nothing. A young lady standing behind him looked like she was sick of dealing with this idiot looked at the ticket and said my name. We stopped in for a quick bite before heading to goat yoga! The staff was friendly and the food was average. I do wish they had toasted the bagel I got my breakfast sandwich on. My boyfriend and I were running errands in Clayton and decided to stop here for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. We arrived right when they opened and each ordered a red eye coffee with cream, and I ordered an everything bagel with egg and cheese and my boyfriend ordered an egg and cheese croissant. We stepped aside and waited for our order. The bagels and croissants are not fresh, they are bagged, toasted in a toaster, and the eggs were microwaved. That bummed us out. I was expecting sandwiches cooked fresh, especially with how pricey they are. The coffee was excellent. I give the coffee 5 stars and will definitely return for that. I went with a friend and we had a divine experience. I ordered an American coffee with French Vanilla medium, a hash brown, and avacado toast. $17.00. Atmosphere is casual and relaxed. There is bar seating by the register/kitchen area, high top tables in the middle, tables and chairs by the windows, and outdoor seating. Noise level and acoustics are pretty good. We were able to have conversation without shouting or straining to hear. The line gets long and wraps in between the tables, but moves quickly. Staff is very friendly! There is a bakery on the other side of the wall so people can choose between cuisine. The portion is one slice of bread with avocado. Was it the best I've ever experienced? No. But it was tasty. I also got a hot chocolate. Again, it was good. Overall, I will most likely go back once in a while just to get out and do something social. There's nothing on the menu I can't make at home for much less. But you know people... inflation. Businesses have to survive also. I recommend! read more

It's a regular stopping place for my wife and I , as well as heavily populated by the work-from-home crowd and students alike. No matter what coffee I get, it is usually the best and we frequent coffee shops in the area quite frequently. Today was an iced mocha with raspberry pumps. Very strong coffee flavor and just the right amount of raspberry on the back-end. We also got ham,egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches on a croissant. My wife and I visited downtown Clayton, for the first time, earlier today for some shopping and strolling. Passing by your restaurant, it looked inviting on the outside- so we decided to stop in for lunch at approximately 1 pm. Our overall experience, unfortunately, left a bit to be desired. While our food was good (my wife and I both ordered BLTA sandwiches), the customer service fell a bit short (my wife even commented on this as we were eating). When we first entered to order, a young, Hispanic-looking man was at the register, counting change. However, rather than greeting us or letting us know someone would be right with us shortly, he simply briefly glanced up, said nothing, then looked back down to resume his task. Meanwhile we were left standing awkwardly for a few moments, until finally he motioned to an another employee (a young lady) to take our order. And, on that note, this young lady took our order. However, when this was done, rather than thanking us, she simply said "you're all set." Needless to say, we will likely not return. I also don't know why I hit the 20 percent automatic tip option when paying, because we picked up the order at the counter ourselves - and upon further reflection, I don't feel the staff was fully entitled to this gratituty. Anyway just passing this feedback along, so you will hopefully make a better first impression on other, future customers. read more

But 10 minutes later I saw them remake another customers order?
