I signed up for a 3 month membership, not that they gave me a contract. The manager Clarissa just…read moretook my credit card and entered it into their system, no problem. That should have been my first warning. After fulfilling my 3rd payment, I found out that I need to have surgery and won't be able to attend anymore classes during recovery. And after I recover, I'll be moving out of state to care for my dad. So I submitted a cancellation request. I tried to do it through the app as it suggested but it just told me to call or visit the studio. When I called, no one answered and I thought, I'll be there in 2 days so I'll let them know then. When I got there, the girl told me she was 'just the weekend help' and couldn't cancel my policy and I would need to email the manager Clarissa. Okay, no big deal. So I did. But apparently by the time I got in touch with her I was a few days past the "30 day policy". Now, I've already payment for the 3 month program I agreed to, so why should I need to cancel anything to begin with. To me, this was just a curtesy so they wouldn't auto charge me for another month. But Clarissa tells me that I've missed the cut off time so I'll be charged another $300 for 8 classes that I won't even be able to use and says perkily in the email that they look forward to seeing me after my recovery. Which tells me 2 things. She didn't pay any attention to what I actually said in the email and she simply doesn't care. So I call, express my disappointment and she offers to escalate my concerns, which I agree to. Then, I get an email from Hannah, the Regional Manager telling me that despite my surgery and moving out of state, they have to be consistent with their policy for all members and (again) that I'll have access to the club through the end of August and they hope to see me there. Now someone make it make sense. I've told them I won't be medically capable or logistically capable of attending classes but they still tell me they hope to see me there? This company, admittedly, may have great instructors and great classes but they have no care for their members except for the money their members are bringing in. This is a company that I would rather cut of my nose to spite my face than ever deal with again. Most companies have medical policies or relocation policies in place for members that are dealing with real life situations, but not Club Pilates. Admittedly, I should have asked for the contract before signing up, that is most definitely my fault. With that being said, their predatory practices of signing you up without offering a contract and making it oh so easy to become a member without having to sign on the dotted line are disgusting. I will NEVER sign up with this company again. Lesson learned.

Like I usually do with programs outside my routine, I ignored it. But as the signup deadline approached, Rebecca mentioned it during one of her classes. This time, I decided to ask a few questions before brushing it off. Rebecca took the time to sit down with me and answer everything thoroughly. With plenty of others already signed up, she didn't need to give a hard sell -- and she didn't. It was clear she genuinely believed in the program and wanted to help people on their fitness journeys. I left our chat with all my questions answered and told her I'd sleep on it. The next day, I signed up. The onboarding process included paperwork, goal-setting, downloading a few apps, and a simple, non-invasive body scan. Rebecca guided me through it all with respect and professionalism. I received my body scan results immediately. With no previous scans to compare to, it simply gave me a baseline -- enough to identify where to focus. From there, I began logging my meals. I even bought a food scale to be as accurate as possible. I was all in. And then... I went on vacation. Like most people on vacation, I ate and drank freely. Portions didn't matter, and neither did ingredients or exercise. Still, I tried to log what I could -- often guessing. Once home, I returned to my usual exercise routine and improved my diet. But I had another family trip shortly after and again fell out of rhythm. Logging continued, but without much precision. Then came my mid-program scan. Compared to my baseline, my body composition had worsened. Rebecca reminded me the goal is progress, not perfection. Given my back-to-back trips, the result wasn't shocking -- but it wasn't the end, either. With no more travel planned, I refocused. I kept logging my meals, water, and workouts. Scheduled check-ins with Rebecca helped keep me on track. By the time my third scan came around, my results had improved -- significantly. Lean body mass was up, body fat down. Not only had I bounced back from the "bad scan," I surpassed my original baseline. For me, those first six weeks were about learning: how to log, use the tools, and better understand my body. I immediately signed up for another round to keep the momentum going. I highly recommend this program to anyone, regardless of age or body type. But Title provides me with the extra motivation, encouragement, support and PUSH that I now crave! Title was welcoming right from the beginning. I was pretty nervous, but it helped that there were all shapes, sizes, ages, men, women and a few kids! By the time I left my first class I was so proud of what I'd accomplished! A little back story...I've always been able to build muscle in my upper body, but destroyed my knee when I was a kid...so lower body and cardio have been a challenge. I'm also a foodie, so the combo of loving food and no cardio...well, I tend to yo-yo a bit! Enter Title Boxing, May of 2015...I was 44 years old, in decent shape but I needed a kick in the pants! I got one! And happily, I was able to do just about all of the exercises even with my physical "limitations"! I still have to modify some stuff...that's just the way it is, you can't let it stop you! I come back this weekend to possibly sign up and they did a complete remodel of all new equipment which I find to be quite nice but nothing I'm used to using from the gyms that I've gone to not at all satisfied so I will not be joining there. According to what the manager said this is the way all planet fitnesses Are going to be doing. These machines are just basic training at least the machines are the free weights and dumbbell rack is nice but I do a lot of machines and Smith machine no longer there. Along with other ones. I will be pursuing other gyms because I'm just not at all satisfied with what I see now. I find it to be wrong that they don't ask for customers input to see what they want instead of they just put in brand new equipment that half the people don't use let alone don't know how to use. I find that the staff don't want to help new customers or even existing customers how do you see equipment. My friend is there in the goffstown location and she doesn't even like it. She's the one that got me to try and join. The prices there are so pleasant because you get everything with a black card. Oh well!

I had a job that really took a toll on my muscles and I needed something I could access at odd hours of the day since my work hours were not consistent. I haphazardly started following along to one of the videos even though my intention was to just lay on the floor in the heat. needless to say, it was amazing. I'm not someone who regularly works out and I'm not even someone who likes the heat but I knew the infrared would be good for my tired muscles. Somehow, the infrared sauna makes it easier to move. And strangely, even though you're sweating, you feel so much cleaner afterward because your pores have just released everything! Make sure to drink lots of water so you don't pass out but I highly recommend this particular location. Everyone is so friendly but if you want to work out in private, like I did, the app is so useful in being able to see if anyone else is in the sauna you would like to book. There are even fun monthly challenges on little pamphlets you can fill out to help keep you motivated and going in on a regular basis. I really like that it's not weight oriented and more just about getting your body moving.
