Dr. Tran and her remarkable team practice veterinary medicine with a rare balance of science, compassion, and grace. Our beloved Xoloitzcuintli puppies, Hurakàn Relámpago and Tormenta were treated with such tenderness and respect that it left a lasting impression on us. Anyone familiar with the unique nature of Xolos knows how special and sensitive they are, and Dr. Tran understood that immediately. She handled them with patience, gentleness, and a deep attentiveness that made us feel completely at ease. Dr. Tran possesses that extraordinary combination of clinical mastery and genuine warmth. She listens carefully, explains thoughtfully, and approaches every patient with patience and respect. Her presence is calm, confident, and deeply reassuring qualities every pet parent hopes to find in someone caring for their companions. I looked all over the place to find a vet that I felt could take care of my diabetic senior kitty for her dental surgery. I visited 3 different vet locations and when I found 9Tails and met Dr. Tran, I knew this would be the place. As soon as I walked into the waiting room it felt like such a peaceful environment, and I knew my baby would be in good hands. Dr. Tran is the kindest vet I've ever met. Hands down the best veterinarian I've ever been to! I absolutely love Dr. Tran -- she's incredible with my pets and my son's pets as well. Her pricing is very fair, and if you've been to as many vets as I have, you know the difference between overpriced care and truly compassionate care. Dr. Tran genuinely cares about your animals -- you're never treated like just another number. My little pitty adores her and actually gets excited to go to the vet, which says everything! Five stars well deserved! I brought my pup, Chiquita, in yesterday, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff greeted us warmly and made Chiquita feel right at ease, which, as any dog owner knows, is not always easy at the vet! We really like this vet and feel they're honest/trustworthy. They're great with all three of our dogs and their pricing is reasonable. My only complaint is that they can be a bit difficult to get a hold of over the phone and their schedule isn't very open or flexible. Despite that inconvenience, we will continue to come here because the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

Brought my dog in for an ear infection and had such a great experience here! Dr. Tran was very informative and compassionate, and the staff treated my pup with so much kindness. Pricing felt very affordable and reasonable compared to other clinics I've been to. I came in as a walk-in and was still seen, but I'd recommend making an appointment if it's not an emergency. The office itself is fun and welcoming--there's even a life-size Stormtrooper in the reception area that gained extra points for being a Star Wars fan. Everyone was so friendly and made my fur baby feel comfortable. Definitely a place I'd recommend and return to!

I had a great experience bringing my cat Georgia here. The staff was so kind and took the time to explain everything to me. She had a dental cleaning with five teeth extracted and recovered very well--no more stinky breath! Wow! We are so happy to have found Dr. Tran and her 9 tails team . Our sweet boy Charlie had IVDD surgery on 2/16/26 and we were looking for an office that does acupuncture . Our sweet Cookie was struggling to stand and walk, and our previous vet told us she would need double hip surgery. Wanting the best for her, we reached out to Dr. Tran for a second opinion--and we are so glad we did! After reviewing Cookie's x-rays, Dr. Tran reassured us that surgery might not be necessary. Instead, she recommended an arthritis treatment. Just days after Cookie's first shot, we saw an incredible difference--she was up and walking again! Now, after several months of treatment, she's running up and down the stairs, hopping out of our SUV, and enjoying life so much more. Dr. Tran and her team have been nothing short of amazing--compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly caring. Even though it's a bit of a drive for us, bringing our pet here is absolutely worth it. I had another vet for years. Then my dog went blind a year ago. After blood tests they said her organs were fine. then she was doing really bad this past january. more blood tests and my vet now told me she had diabetes. I compared both blood tests on my chatgpt and it was clear she had it a year ago. then they didn't want to give her insulin unless I agreed to leave her there for 7 days at $170/day. I was pissed! my friend referred me to 9Tails!..., From night to day! they couldn't believe what my previous vet did and took her in right away, used the current blood work results I already had and started her on insulin the very same day and sent us home. it was such a relief. They care, they always take time to explain things. They are reasonably priced. And they are open EVERY DAY! They have been a life savor for us and im so thankful. I recommend them to everyone I know. read more

having only gone here for accupuncture i wanted to update regarding other services. unsurprisingly dr. tran extends excellent care in this regard as well. my cane was experiencing an ear infection for the first time ever and she took the time to not only gently clean his ears out completely and slowly, so i could see the process and repeat it at home myself. she prescribed an easy to use ear med and then also recommended an ear wash, giving me the option of looking it up online in case i wanted to see if i could get it cheaper or purchase it with the prescribed med at the clinic. because the care and prices are so exceptional, i opted to purchase it there, feeling confident there really wasn't a need to look online. after checking out, she came back out to the waiting area and went over the med with me slowly and even gave him his first application there in the lobby so i could feel comfortable doing it at home myself. she said he should feel relief in about 5 days but he had completely stopped shaking his head and scratching within under 2 days. with his arthritis primarily in his hips i could tell it was really uncomfortable for him to reach around and up to try and scratch using his hind legs, so the relief we all had knowing he wasn't irritated anymore was so invaluable. tacking on another treatment like the extensive ear cleaning during his accupuncture session could have easily and understandably been an additional charge but i was only charged for the meds and his accupuncture and given the care and peace of mind we have come to cherish from this place. we are so lucky to have dr. tran and anyone can and will feel comfortable and cared for here! read more

We took one of our kitties in for a shot and to get blood work done and as always, we felt welcomed and it's comforting to know that the team there truly care about our furry family, and it always shows. I love this vet! we have been taking my cats and dogs to this vet for all their appointments and they are so well taken care of. Dr. Tran is so nice to my babies and showers them with lots of love everytime she sees them. my animals feel comfortable coming here everytime. I love that the staff remembers their clients and always checks up on my pets after their appointments. i have recommended 9tails to a lot of family members and friends. the only con that i have faced is the wait time for appointments can be long. i have waited 30+ mins for my pets to get taken back even when i had an appointment. that would be my only complaint but overall i love this vet and will definitely be taking all of my pets there in the future. read more

We went to 9Tails on Sunday after our dog hadn't eaten for a week. Before that, we had already seen another vet on Wed and Sat and yet they couldn't rule out the cause and Marble's appetite declined more. We're grateful that Dr Tran takes walk-ins on Sunday.We asked if an X-ray could be done. She agreed, and the X-ray showed what looked like a foreign body in our pup Marble's stomach. Following her recommendation, we went to the ER where they repeated the X-ray. The radiologist there didn't believe there was a foreign body, and after waiting for hours at the ER, the diagnosis was still inconclusive. The ER vet wanted to run more tests but eventually agreed that surgery might be necessary after the ultrasound imaging and a second opinion on the X-ray study indicated something possibly in her stomach. The next day we called 9Tails again, and they were kind enough to squeeze Marble in for surgery after her overnight stay at the ER. Dr. Tran performed the gastrointestinal surgery and took amazing care of Marble. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Tran and the 9Tails team kept us informed with phone calls and texts about the procedure, what she found, and how Marble was doing under her care. That level of communication meant so much to us during such a stressful time. Dr. Tran truly went above and beyond to treat our dog and helped us navigate a very scary situation. We're incredibly grateful for her compassion, professionalism, and dedication to her patients. Marble is lucky to have been in her hands. She's back to herself gradually and happily. Dr. Tran and her staff are absolutely amazing! The office is warm, and friendly with a feel of home. My maltepoo loves Dr. Tran! She is drawn to her and smothers her in hugs and kisses on every visit. Dr. Tran is truly special and the animals can sense that. (She hugs us humans too). I trust her with my fur baby and she truly cares about their healthcare. Her prices are affordable and you can be sure your pet will be thoroughly taken care of because she loves your pet just as much as you do! I can not say enough great things about Dr Tran and the great staff at 9tails. She was my vet for many years early in her career. When I found out she had her own place, I new I would return to her for the care of all my pets. She takes time and answers all your questions never once making you feel rushed. I absolutely love Dr. Tran! She is an amazing vet, very compassionate. She always takes her time to explain everything and addresses all of our concerns. Last week my husky's hind legs gave out, they were about to close so they recommended an ER vet in my area. Although they were about to close, the office staff still took the time to email me my husky's medical records and schedule an appointment for my husky to be seen the next day. During my husky's appointment Dr. Tran took the time to make sure he was comfortable (not anxious or scared). She addressed all my questions and concerns. She was also very honest about him NOT needing any pain meds. They don't price gouge and she doesn't try to sell you on services/medications your pet doesn't need. 100000% recommend. read more

This office is just fantastic. Honestly have been to so many vets throughout the years and you always feel "taken" as they rack up costs and treatments that are unnecessary. I took my Shih Tzu for a check up on some bumps he had on his coat and I feared tumors, even cancer and Dr. Tran assured me they were normal and more like pimples, Nothing to worry about. As a concerned pet owner/ dog lover, I would have paid for tests or labs and she was so honest. Another vet had offered biopsy of those bumps and labs, all this stuff. This was the second time I boarded my dog at this facility, and unfortunately, both visits ended with her coming home sick. After her most recent stay, she developed kennel cough. After her first stay, she came home with kennel cough and an eye infection. While I understand that illnesses can occur in any boarding environment, having it happen both times is extremely concerning. Health Issues This was the second time I boarded my dog at this facility, and unfortunately, both visits ended with her coming home sick. After her most recent stay, she developed kennel cough. After her first stay, she came home with kennel cough and an eye infection. While I understand that illnesses can occur in any boarding environment, having it happen both times is extremely concerning. Care Instructions and Facility Handling I was also disappointed that Duchess's care instructions were not updated during check-in. She is no longer a puppy and no longer chews, yet her paperwork still reflected outdated information. Because of that, she wasn't given the blanket or bed that should have been placed on top of her cot. This should have been caught and corrected by the staff during the check-in process. (I was also told I was unable to leave her blanket and toy from home, which should have been communicated at the time of reservation.) While watching the facility cameras, I also saw another dog placed in Duchess's room for a period of time, although I was never given an explanation as to why. Later, I learned that Duchess had been moved out of her room around midnight because the room needed to be painted. I was never notified that she had been relocated, and I found that very concerning. Communication and Monitoring Concerns To make matters worse, I was unable to access the cameras during the night. Around 3:30 a.m., I became worried because I couldn't see Duchess and had no idea she had been moved. I called the facility, but no one answered. As a pet owner, that was incredibly stressful and upsetting. Customer Service and Response When I called after bringing Duchess home to discuss everything that had happened, I was shocked by the manager's response. Rather than showing concern or empathy, I was told, "Well, you signed a waiver." While I understand that boarding facilities require waivers, a waiver should never be used to dismiss a customer's legitimate concerns or excuse poor communication and preventable issues. That response left me feeling that Duchess's well-being--and my concerns as her owner--were not taken seriously. Overall Experience Any one of these issues might have been understandable on its own, but taken together, they reflect a lack of communication, attention to detail, and accountability. I understand that boarding facilities care for many dogs and that no facility can completely eliminate the risk of contagious illnesses. However, I do expect accurate records, clear communication, transparency when changes are made involving my dog's care, and compassionate customer service when concerns are raised. After two disappointing experiences and two hefty vet bills, I can no longer trust this facility with Duchess and will not be boarding her here again. I hope this review encourages the facility to make meaningful improvements so that other families--and their beloved pets--don't have a similar experience. Our pets can't tell us what happened while they were away, so trust and communication are everything!!

Yesterday was my first visit with Dr. Tran, and I was very happy. She will definitely be my veterinarian from now on. My Rottweiler was abused by her veterinarian when she was a puppy. After seeing the very negative change that this experience caused in her, every visit to the vet has been a nightmare. When we arrived, I explained the situation and what they should or should not do, because I don't want her to bite anyone. They listened to me without making any comments, unlike other places where I've felt as if I don't know anything about my own dog (even though I've known her for nine years). When Dr. Tran came into the room, she listened to me very carefully. She examined my dog after I stepped out of the room, which I suggested because I thought it would be best. That way, my dog wouldn't feel like she needed to defend me. Afterward, I went back into the room with my dog, and Dr. Tran stayed and talked with us for about 15 minutes. We laughed and chatted about different things. My dog's reaction was incredible. She lay down on the floor completely relaxed. I have never had an experience like this with any other veterinarian. I highly recommend Dr. Tran and her team at 9Tails Veterinary Clinic. They provide exceptional care, clear communication, and, most importantly, transparency with pricing. As someone who has had negative experiences with other veterinarians, including unnecessary treatments and unclear billing, I was initially hesitant. However, Dr. Tran and her staff made me feel completely at ease. I brought my two dogs in for wellness exams, which are required before scheduling an anesthetic dental cleaning. The exams were thorough, and the cleaning went smoothly. My dog Dreamer is now recovering well and sporting sparkly white teeth (no more rotten breath, yay)! I was especially impressed by the detailed report they provided, which included medical test results, before-and-after photos, and educational resources to help me better understand my pet's care. I took my sweet girl, Ivy, today for dental cleaning. Since she is 10 years old, yesterday they did a heart test. All was good. Today I dropped her off at 8:45AM and picked her up at 1PM. Dr Tran and her Team are awesome. Extremely friendly with excellent follow through and follow up. Great at listening and explaining the issues, Dr Tran has been incredible treating one of our dogs with long term Paw issues. My Daughter is also a Vet however she practices in another State. I love 9tails. They were very gentle with my doggy, and they listened to what I had to say, and they cared. Everything about them is awesome! I won't go anywhere else. I will even keep going there. I am in the process of moving, and now that I found them, I am going to have to make sure that I don't relocate somewhere too far, because I am not going to take my doggy anywhere else. Absolute hands down the best vet around. They treat you like family. They care about your pet as if it were their own! I love her entire office. The staff, the vibes, the decor. Dr Tran and her staff, including Josh were Amazing! They took us in last minute right before they were about to close for the birth of my pupps, and did such an awesome job! Dr. Tran is truly one of a kind--she's not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely caring. We live farther away from the clinic now, but she is absolutely worth the drive.
