María is a great hairstylist. She's always friendly and when asking her opinion on a hairstyle, I love that she's sincere when giving her opinion. Just recently I took my mother who was a bit nervous about getting a whole new hairstyle (from shoulder length to very short hair) but I appreciate that María explained what she would be cutting and how much and as she styled my mom's hair she would ask my mother if she felt it looked good so far. I was looking for a salon to wash my hair because my blowdryer broke and i had somewhere to be and i wear sew in extensions. After washing you MUST blowdry to prevent mold. Anyways, i found this place who accepts walk ins. Mind you, when dealing with extensions you have to really really condition the hair. So, i walk in and theres an older lady who takes me. She proceeds to "wash" my hair. She literally only puts shampoo once and conditioner once. THATS IT!!!! My hair stylists put like 2/3 different shampoos, conditions it like 4 times then adds leave in conditioner. Ok...so she finishes, and then starts to blowdry my hair. She DOES NOT add heat treatment or leave in conditioner OR NOTHING!!!!!!!! Has the blowdryer on super hot and literally is frying my hair and the extensions!! I told her she didnt have to blowdry the ends to just really focus on and blowdry the scalp because thats where the extensions are sewn from. She then "finishes" and at this point i just wanted to get the hell out of there. My hair smelled so disgusting. I asked her how much, she thinks for a bit then says $85!!!!! ARE YOU EFFIN KIDDING ME!!! $85!!!!! She literally took me for $85 for sure because i had a designer bag and was wearing jewelry. I WOULD NEVER GO TO OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. My hair was so damp and smelled horrendous. I had to go buy a new blowdryer and do it all myself. read more

JoMy hair passes the shoulder length by 3-4 inches so the perm that I asked for was $75 great price. It was an overall 2hr wait for the treatment. I originally wanted big waves but she recommended going for a tighter fit so they can fall in. After I was finished I truly loved my curls I just wished they could have lasted longer with the bounce. Advice: for dyeing your hair it's recomendable to keep your natural oils so you shouldn't wash your hair the day of but for a perm the hair must be clean. Update:I called to let them know about the issue of my hair losing its bounce and the owner agreed to do another session free of charge with patty once more. Great business! read more

Great, no-hassle place to get a simple cut that SuperCuts never can get right. I appreciate small places like this that have been around for a while. They know what's up when it comes to cutting hair, period. The big places try to sell you on services or product, and that leaves a bad impression on me. I get it, but not when someone like me obviously doesn't need "hair relaxer", why try? I'm in for a simple tight fade, after all. Not here. In fact, they also had a different staff member do your money transaction, rather than have your stylist turn around and take your money directly. That's weird. I appreciate that A1 had a different person taking my momey. I appreciate that a LOT. Great straight-forward cut that is done right. I mean, how great do I look??!! And a $12 cut that's done right? Horrible horrible place to get your hair cut!! I went in this last Saturday for a simple straight across hair cut, about an inch long. I got stuck with this Indian girl who butchered my hair! And I do mean butchered!! Stevie Wonder could have cut my hair better that this dumb chick! I called back, after I saw myself in the mirror, to complain and they were very understanding. They said to come in on Sunday, any time, so they can fix it, but I'm better off not retiring, 1. I don't want to see that chick and tell her off and 2. I trust NO one there any more. He belongs in those Hair salons that charges $60 just for the haircut. Genius and wonderful, Arturo will say no if you choose the wrong cut so be aware, he knows best. and I agree. Been getting my hair cut here since I was a little kid. I was reluctant to post this review because I know people on yelp have high expectations for super fancy hair cuts or super styled or something. This is a really simple little barb. shop, so don't come here if you're super specific about your hair. Usually guys fill this little place, but that doesn't mean they can't cut women's hair. I usually get my hair just trimmed or simply layered, but each time they manage to do such a lovely and phenomenal job. The owner, Danny, and his employees are always so friendly and welcoming. They welcome walk ins, but sometimes it can be busy. Most of the time I walk in with no appointment needed and I don't have to wait more than 2 minutes. Danny is always understanding to what you want, and will not push you to something you don't want to do (most stylists always put their input to what you want and it turns off my mood all the time). It's about 30 minutes away from where I live, but I don't mind coming here because I always leave happy and my pockets still full. Only $12 for a nice cut, can't beat that. read more
