I have use this company for the last two years. I had a great service. I even think Daniel, the owner, was the one that did the work on my house. He was very polite and professional and did the job. I wanted to hire him again. This time my wife answered the door to a younger gentleman, and he gave her the attitude that he didn't really want to clean our carpets because they were too old. We repaired what we've always paid, but the service and professionalism were not there. In the past, whenever a spot could not be removed Daniel/the owner always told me about spots he couldn't get out. This time this younger guy, didn't tell my wife anything about spots, rips or damage.. lastly, the cleaner moved one of my landscape rocks to hold his house and on the way out my wife asked him to put it back. We had Daniel come and clean out our dryer duct that went to the roof. It had a few turns in it and he was totally honest about everything. A major plus! Because of the turns in the duct, he couldn't show me it was clean with the camera, so he turned on the dryer while I stood out front to see the residual dust come out the top. They get 1 stars for being on time and professional. The quality of their cleaning job was not even mediocre. My carpet is 7 months old. It's grey. No spills. No animal spots/issues. Just normal family foot activity. Again, no stains. There was a dingy spot in front of my couch, that was it. And of course the stairs were getting dingy. When the tech left, the spot in font of the couch was still there. I thought maybe it needed to dry. Then I decided to get my own carpet shampooer out to go over it again and the dirt that came up was unexpected and disgusting. I would think that being a professional company they would use better equipment. Maybe they need to replace equipment due to age. I don't know. But what I do know is that I should not have pulled up the dirty water I did the same day it was professionally cleaned. You can see the spot that was left after the tech cleaned. Summer is over, and our carpet needed to be brought back to life. We have four children, the youngest being 3 years old, so our carpet sees a lot of activity. We had another company clean our carpets a few years ago but Phillip at A-1 Pro Carpet did a much better job removing tough stains. The other company said that some of the stains from sweaty feet couldn't be removed. But Phillip proved them wrong. Both companies used hot water extraction method but A-1 Pro results were demonstrably superior. Not sure why there was a difference. A-1 pricing was also better, so better value. Easy to get in touch with them, as someone answered my call and provided me a quote over the phone for dryer duct/vent cleaning and scheduled me for a few days later. About 30minutes after the call I received a confirmation text telling me who was coming out on a date and time. Today, I received a text telling me the technician was on his way. Philip arrived and explained what he would be doing and went right to work. He was friendly, knowledgeable and communicated with us and showed us what he found in our vent. He used a camera and we could not believe how clogged our vent was (a real fire hazzard). When I called I was asked to send photos of my recliner, couch, and room that needed serviced. I was given a quote immediately. And the service could be done in the next day!!
