AC finally got fixed after being without for 12 days. 2 weeks after AC was fixed Thompson came back out, without letting us know they was coming and broke our AC. Said they had to fix a "sensor" but the AC was working perfectly until they started messing with it again for absolutely no reason without even telling us. 1 week later, without much communication they FINALLY came back out to fix the problem that they caused for absolutely no reason. I called and they verifies that it had been 8 month since my HVAC service 14 month since my generator. My winter HVAC service was skipped and my annual 2025 generator service was skipped......however I had paid for them. The customer service person did not seem to care in the least and actually told me I should have called them to schedule the service. I asked to speak with her manager (Mason) and he never called me back. Worst customer service I've experienced in a very long time!

My two cents - While he may not walk in the door looking like a model wearing a white dress shirt with his sleeves rolled up, he's nothing short of amazing! Technically very capable, fast, and extremely fair and honest as well - As service providers go ... he's the best you'll find. o This may not seem like much, but never once has he tried to upsell me anything I didn't need or want. o I had him do a repair at my mother-in-law's house. The original installer had been out to 'fix' the 3yr old system FOUR TIMES over the course of a year. Tired of ignorance, I called Morgan out and the system has worked perfectly ever since. o I've had him repair an ancient (1980's) system at my office - while I only needed a few more months out of it, it was good to have heat in the winter! o And later I had him replace the system at my office and at my house as well - both jobs done professionally and, I might add, at a decent discount to what others had quoted me. o Finally, I just had him out to replace the system at our mountain cabin - amazing. Did his damndest to schedule an emergency replacement to my spec and on my time (before the next day's 85deg weather hit), and never once complained. I work hard for my money and appreciate people who 1) work hard themselves, and, 2) actually care about their customers (and not just their money) ... that'd be Morgan, in a nutshell.

I call Full Air AC Repair to get Freon put in my unit. Justin came out for $110 and told me…read moreexactly what I already knew.... That my unit needed Freon. He said the Freon would cost about $750 and that I had a leak and needed stop leak and it would need to be changed to take a different kind of Freon because R22 is not available anymore. (It's available on Amazon). Anyways he quoted $2,000 to put Freon or $9,000 for a new unit. (I'm like I could get a couple of window units for cheape.) I asked him to put a duct back on that the water heater guys knocked off and he told me that he didn't have any supplies on the truck. After he left, I thought that I would consider putting Freon in myself. I went out to look at the unit and I heard a hissing sound coming from a valve. I took a video and sent it to him and asked about it. He said he could've hear anything. (The Freon that was in my unit was being drained!) I called someone else and they came out and put a new valve stem, reattached my duct, filled the unit with nitrogen to see if it would hold, then recharged my unit with 6lbs of Freon for $460. I highly recommended that everyone look elsewhere for their hvac needs. I saw these great reviews and thought I was getting some honest help. Nope!

As of today, we were forced to install an entirely new HVAC unit to replace the one we purchased…read moreonly 15 months ago from Energy Sharks. The original unit we were sold is no longer manufactured with replacement parts available. After waiting extensively for a resolution, we ultimately had no choice but to move forward with purchasing a new unit - this time the correct size. During this process, we also learned that the explanations previously given to us, by Energy Sharks ,that the problems were due to using the wrong filters, that the system was filthy, and that nothing could be done - were false. The new installer worked directly with York to help us secure another unit, but we still incurred an additional cost of $6,200 for installation. In total, within just 16 months, we have spent over $15,000 to have a functional HVAC system - double what the actual cost should have been. My concern remains that others may be misled or treated as poorly as we have been, and I do not want additional consumers to experience the same level of frustration and financial burden. I would encourage everyone to just look through the recent reviews to see how bad this company has become. New ownership came with horrible people.

During the inspection of the unit the tech from five star gave me a laundry list of things that were needed to be replaced along with a whopping $1300 bill for repairs should I choose to have it repaired. He also stated he would have to order the parts which would take a week. Lastly He suggested I just replace the unit. Going for a second opinion I reach out to Chandler of DC group heat and air. He was quickly able to discover the issue and guess what he had all the parts needed on his truck. He repaired the unit and had my unit up and running in less than 2 hrs. Entire bill was less than 15% of the quoted price from Five star heating and cooling. Honest, friendly, and professional service with that it's safe to say DC group heating and air has found a return customer in me. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the area!
