That only his banks wanted bank statements over pay stubs. He didn't even want a year to date statement. Like what? To continue, the price of the vehicles are INSANELY over priced. Anyone who does any research can see that. I looked at marketplace values, KBB values, Edmund's values, and more. Their prices were nearly TWICE the value of the actual vehicle. That is just mind blowing to me and he couldn't explain to me why the prices were so high for such old vehicles. These vehicles were 10 to 15 years old and they were asking $12k and UP. No. I could buy the same vehicle for maybe $3k to $5k anywhere else. Place is a rip off. Please. Do your research before you buy here! Recently ((January 2025) I was pulled over by a police officer and given a warning because the stickers for the month and year were reversed on the license plate; I told the officer that I had no idea this happened because it was taken care of by the dealer at pruchase. When I called David at Auto Leader he was borderline disinterested in the conversation at first not even acknowledging they made an error. (as if I wouuld call about this falsly out of the blue and as if I did not buy a car from him that was not cheap!) This made me annoyed. He then told me I needed to come in and they would try to fix it. I asked if he could come to my work place, 2 blocks from their shop, and he could fix it there. He refused and said he was trying to seve me time and aggravation over having to go to MVA for new stickers. His solution was in no way saving me time and aggravation already caused by the error, and in the future to get it fixed. His attitude was terrible- he accused me of "pointing fingrer". I would be VERY CAREFUL about doing business with this complany, especially if you want a company with customer services that stands behind their work.

There was always a little wiggle room. But here in 2025, it seems like those days are over. Whether you're paying cash or not, most dealerships--including this one--just aren't open to negotiating on price. I found this dealership online through CarGurus. While I didn't see a vehicle I absolutely loved, my situation pushed me to make a quick decision. The fuel pump went out on our Chrysler 300, we were burning through money on Turo rentals, and our Kia had recently been involved in a serious accident. We were stuck between a rock and a hard place, so we needed a car fast. When I visited the lot, the selection was limited, but I managed to find a diamond in the rough--the vehicle I eventually purchased. As mentioned, there was no flexibility on the price, even though I was ready to pay in full. Still, the car met our needs, and time was of the essence, so we went ahead with the purchase. On the positive side, the dealership has an on-site title and registration office, which was a huge convenience. I got my tags the same day--no waiting, no paper tags--which was a big plus. The owner of the dealership also gave me $20 for gas since the tank was low. It wasn't much, but it was a kind gesture, and they even installed the tags for me before I drove off. Kudos!! So, would I return? More likely than not. The salesperson was a decent guy--no pressure, and easy to talk to. Overall, it was a good experience considering the urgency of our situation.
