The guy I was talking to gave me information about anything that might need to be replaced soon in the future and he gave me pricing as well. (My tire sensors cause god forbid I tried to pump air in my tire and a fluid went in my tire and he said it might of damaged my tire sensors.) I purchased a used Yukon from them, and it was refreshing to deal with approachable, down to earth people instead of the stereotypical slick salesman types. Without argument, they fixed a couple of small things that I requested as part of the purchase, and when I had my mechanic go over the vehicle immediately after purchase, he gave it a clean bill of health, aside from a couple of recommended routine maintenance items. My only critique was that their detail guy didn't clean under the hood and around the inside of the rear hatch-- kind of picky, I know, but that's all I could find to give negative feedback on. By 08/09/2024 a mechanic I trust told me I was sold a messed up car. John is a prick! Dexter is a wolf in sheepskin. I had the worst experience with this dealership. My tags ran out and the gave another one and it ran out and they finally got them after 80 days. They wouldn't even overnight my tags. They said they would send in regular mail. In the meantime, I have been stopped several times and given tickets for expired tags. I have never had this happen before. They said it was Delaware but when I called DMV said that they hadn't sent the money for the tags. So I wouldn't buy another car from them for this reason. I bought a 2011 f-150 in may 2021 put less then 5000 miles on the truck there was a noise coming from the motor so I called them they sent me to a auto service place they deal with. Two days later the mechanic told me I have two internal engine parts bad a froze brake caliber a leaking jackpot and the timing chain was bad. I called Dawson to tell them about the issues I had and they told me well it can be worse you could of not got the insurance and they told me that when does the truck belong to you and not us. I purchased an used vehicle in December 2021... It is now February 2022. In this short amount of time, I had to return vehicle for several issues! When I purchased car it had smoke coming from under hood, they said they would take care of that, driver side sun visor was taped to roof of car, they said they would take care that, back driver side tail light, filled with water and light did not work, they said they would take care of that, alternator, battery, gasket val and spool Val went up in car.... Purchased Wynn warranty and it only covered the alternator..... to make a long story short, customer service was great( guess it would be when your selling a car with these many issues) however, I really feel I was taken advantage of and this dealer knew they were selling me a car with major issues! I have only made 1 finance payment as of today and already have to come out of pocket 1389.00 to have issues fixed! Very disappointed as a customer and very frustrated as a female customer because I really got the run around about my car issues but everything went smooth when it came to taking my money for this car!!!!! buyers beware !!!!! please do not buy from this establishment i purchased a vehicle from here 14 days later i returned it the front end was so bad it could have costed me my life if i slammed on breaks then to turn around and experience transmission issues shortly after i refused to take the vehicle he put me in another vehicle 14 days later from several different top rated mechanic shops around the glen burnie area they told me that the whole front end was bad and that it shouldn't of passed inspection but magically it did *wink *wink i took the vehicle back and proceeded to what i thought was going to a dealer or a mechanic shop it didn't and i was put in a loner truck of theirs (Dawsons) the loner truck i was placed in i had to return the next business day because the transmission light came on in the truck took that back and got another loaner vehicle the owner replied upon me leaving (try not to blow this one up) it made me feel very bad because he didn't care so my car sat on a lot and wasn't suppose to be there for 3 days to come and find out a buddy of the owner was going to be working on my vehicle on the side with no diagnosis of my vehicle i went to the person who was supposedly working on it for questioning about the vehicles diagnosis he told me i was trying to get him fired so idk if he was driving my vehicle or what but please don't buy from these people please read this fully before buying from there read more

well I took my truck to a real mechanic unlike the one at Dawson s where i got my truck and they told me not only is my transmission shot but my rear end def is shot to and they said it was done before I even purchased the vehicle. Its going to cost me $4300 just to get them fixed, its pretty much what I need to pay the truck off. So im stuck with a big decision should I fix it or just let it go back? I need a vehicle there is no doubt about that and if I let it go back I am going to be messing my credit up and they will just fix it and sell it to make more off of it.
