I originally didn't plan on changing the diff fluid, but Rei recommended doing it while the car was already there and explained why it was a good idea. I'm glad I went ahead with it. They also took the time to inspect my front struts while the car was there and let me know they're starting to go and should be replaced soon. I appreciated them pointing that out and explaining it instead of just ignoring it. Their pricing was fair too, especially after getting quotes from a couple other places. The whole process was smooth and the car honestly feels better driving now. Definitely a shop I'd come back to and would recommend if you need work done on your car.

While, I would give my one-time experience with the mechanics a 0 star rating, I would give the follow-up by the ownership and absolute 6 star rating out of 5. That averages out to 3 stars. I would say that I have rarely seen this type of follow-up and care for their customers and their experiences from any other business. This was truly the example of good business practices. Mark compensated me for the outstanding bill associated with my issue and then some for my horrible day. I will assume my experience was an anomaly as I have never had this issue prior to this day. I thank Mark for reminding me that Casey is a family-owned business and a member of our community and I will do my part and continue to pledge my future business to their garage. Their waiting room is nice, clean, and spacious. There are complimentary coffee and beverages, tv and Wi-Fi (and it's fast enough to stream an episode of Game of Thrones). I took my car in for an oil change, but they threw in a car wash and wiped some of the dust off my dash. They also performed a full visual inspection and recommendations for my next service. I felt the price was fair and not once did I feel like they where screwing me over like I sometimes feel at the dealership. As I left, Dave handed me an envelope that contains a free gift, but I must not open it until the next visit. Went in on a Friday afternoon for a scheduled oil change and was there for 2.5 hours! I was told that my car was done so I paid for the oil change. Side note: I was told AFTER I tapped my credit card that there would be a 3% fee. I asked if I could use my debit card instead. There was an option to select Yes or No to the fee so the lady behind the counter clicked No and said the charge still went through. What is the point of having this option??!! Irritating and somewhat shady. Back to the story: The lady saw me get ready to go and did say that my car would be another 10 minutes because they had taken it to drive around the block. Fine. I waited and waited and my car still wasn't ready and no one was available behind the counter to ask. Luckily another man came out to help another customer and I asked him about my car which he automatically brushed me off with a response "yeah it's coming out." But still no car. Another man came out to help another customer and I asked him if he could check the status of my car which I got an annoyed look from him with no response except he just walked to the back and asked about my car. Seriously?! No one else came back out but I heard someone yell "it's coming out right now" and when I looked outside, my car was being driven out of the garage. The man driving my car apologized and explained that the lady should have communicated better and told me that they were still performing tests which took longer than she told me. "Performing more tests", "driving it around the block"...generic excuses thrown at me while not being told exactly what the real status of my car was, all the while behind an enclosed garage with no visibility to what they were actually doing with my car. I don't like being treated like this especially because I didn't see them treating anyone other customers like this. Like the other bad reviews on here and Google, the service you get here is hit or miss. You might save some money on a couple of things but just think if it's really worth it including the time you lose. For me, it's not worth being treated like this and not being able to trust the level of service I'll be getting.

We recently had to send our manual car in because of some starting issues. They listened to some other problems my husband was noticing and let him know what else they could look at while they were down there. If it was something they could do easily, it would save them time from having to take the part out again and fix it later, then they would be able to offer a discount on the bundled repairs. If the issue was something that required them to be in a different part of the car, then they recommended we wait because it would cost more for the labor of looking/disassembling/reassembling. Totally reasonable! While they were fixing the car, they noticed something with the clutch that was making it wear faster. They provided a recommendation that would improve the engagement plus allow it to last longer. Anyway, the details are just to prove that they're great to work with. They communicate really well and make sure you're comfortable and educated with your options.

I still tried to get through the conversation (due to the earlier mentioned advantages) to set an appointment but all the "sighs" and "condescending tone" drove me off and I decline my appointment time of 11am. Maybe they have wonderful service at this shop but I never made it past a phone call...very disappointed!
