On September 20th 2022 one of their drivers named Roman ran into my Honda Civc with their company car. Roman didn't have his insurance card on him so his boss Rocky was the one that had to get it for me. it took from Sept 20th to Sept 26th before Rocky sent me the insurance card. Since then Romans insurance company has been trying to contact him to get the process started but Roman keeps dodging all of his insurance companies calls and my calls. It is now Sept 30th a full 10 days without being able to use my car. My driver side mirror is broken hanging off of the handle and my door is caved in unable to be opened. Not sure what damage has been done to the engine. I'm wondering how much longer this will go on before action is taken. The manager and Roman both know how to contact me to fix this. read more

On July 15 around 3 PM, I witnessed a driver from AB Towing driving recklessly on the 15 Freeway. He was driving on the shoulder, weaving through traffic as if the highway were his personal racetrack. Despite my attempts to avoid him, he intentionally cut me off, putting my family and I in danger and causing a major safety risk to everyone on the freeway. I called AB Towing immediately to report the incident. The dispatcher assured me they would notify the owner and would follow up on the issue. However, while I was on the phone, the driver cut me off again. I expressed my frustration to the dispatcher and said your driver just FUkn cut me off again, who simply stated that the call was being recorded, then hung up without any concern for the situation. I called back and spoke to another representative who claimed this behavior wouldn't be tolerated and would be dealt with accordingly. I informed them that I had recorded the driver's actions, including him flipping us off, and my wife captured it on video. This driver was smiling while displaying such disrespect, all while operating a company tow truck affiliated with AAA.I strongly advise against using AB Towing. I will be reporting this behavior to AAA as well, as it reflects poorly on their partnership with this company. Don't use this company for any Towing service! read more

Long story short, this horrible tow service first YANKS my door handle OFF my car, the driver asks me "was your door handle broken" - well obviously it wasn't prior to their lovely "Service". Conveniently he then dropped it on the ground. I'll leave the part about it being towed to the wrong destination out because I'm just pissed about my door handle. And no, there was no body damage, the car just needed a tow. Was not in any accident. Now multiple days later they are claiming that my door handle had prior damage and they won't cover it. I've been using A&B for years to tow. Today I called to book a tow. They explained that they are under new management and have substantially raised their prices. I asked them if this was there way of telling me that they don't want to tow my car. They said, 'you can do whatever you want. We are under new management and our rates are our rates.' Oh, okay, sorry to have bothered you guys. I didn't even question the rates. I would've been fine paying them. Just was amazed at the lack of care from their employees. From answering the phone with 'hello?' to hanging up after telling me to do whatever I want, it's clear that the new management doesn't care about their customers - especially the loyal ones like me. I ran out of gas in a very old car I have that doesn't have a good gas gauge. AB showed up very rapidly with gas (via AAA) to help out. I was in a sketchy part on the side of the freeway. But the main reason for the review is the driver then asked if I knew the area for another gas station. I said yes and booked it to the next off-ramp. When I got to the gas station, it was all yellow taped and closed. Luckily the tow guy followed me from a distance as he looped back into the city and saw the station was closed. He turned around and pulled in laughing with me. He then gave me an escort to the nearest station a few miles away in case I ran out of gas again! I called for a tow and was told they couldn't help me because I was too far away. According to google I was just over 5 miles away, 5.7 to be exact from their location in Costa Mesa to where I was at the Newport Beach/ Corona Del Mar border. Additionally and ironically the tire shop I needed to be towed to was right by them . I went to run errands on my lunch only to return to a completely dead car. I called my AAA service provider and someone came out only to tell me they can't do anything and I need to spend nearly $900 to get it fixed. I was then sent an angel (Don from A & B Towing) who not only towed my car to my apartment successfully, but also found a way to calm my nerves and anxiety over the whole car ordeal, talked me through all the possibilities of what could actually be wrong, and performed a ton of different tests to narrow things out (which my original AAA guy did none of). Sina assisted me with a battery check and jump today. I had called AAA for a possible tow since I tried to jump start my car with a neighbors vehicle without any luck. Sina called me within 10 minutes of my service call & was only 5 minutes away. That was the quickest response time I had ever witnessed. My battery was checked with his status device and the results stated that my battery was very low...only at 7%. He said that it only showed that the battery was drained...not that it was bad. So he suggested I drive my car for at least 1/2 hour on the freeway and that should work to get the battery back to normal. I did try this, but a few hours later, my car would not start. I just need a new battery. Sina was quick and efficient, but I still have a battery problem. AAA and A&B towing are there to assist, but cars are just not always easy to diagnose outside an auto shop. read more
