I pass the shop daily on my way to work and was curious about the place. I always see a lot of cars there. So I recently called for a service appointment. Andrew is very nice and articulate on the phone. That is my 1st impression of a good company. The person who answers the phone is usually the face of the company. He's got a good face. He has a sense of responsibility and pride for the technicians that work for the company and I could tell that by how he spoke about them. The technicians are very detailed, they show you photos of what they are inspecting and give you a lot of information. For me it's great as I have a mechanical background so I understood everything that was pointed out. I felt confident that my truck was thoroughly looked at. The appointment process is easy, just give then a call. For me, thankfully I have not needed a major repair "yet" but if and when I do, taking my Jeep Trailhawk to R and K.

Agree with other reviewers here who say this fellow "fleeces you depending on your level of car knowledge and whether or not you live in the area. Ridiculously overpriced... greedy, unhelpful." Well, none of the 620 clips in the box will work. Pfffft. He said that the clips have to go in a certain way, and they slide on. He said that I will have to go to Land Rover for the clips, and he would install them. He very kindly put some more tape on the trim, and didn't charge me for it. I will get the clips, and return. I also need his help with another issue, and I feel very confident that he'll do a great job at a fair price. I am delighted to have found a good mechanic!! I have a wonderful mechanic in Colorado, and wasn't sure if I could find one of his caliber in NY. I'm happy to say that I believe that I have!

Being a Saturday, not many shops were open. I used Yelp, and found this place. Not only were the reviews great, but they were open! My fiancé called, explained his current issue and the lovely gentleman on the phone took his name and told him to bring it in! He brought his car in and they told him they probably won't be able to get to it today due to closing in a few hours, but would try and then with the incoming storm it would probably be Tuesday. Not a problem at all! After I picked him up after he dropped his car off he said the gentleman behind the counter was very nice! Fast forward to Tuesday morning (due to the storm, didn't open Monday) they told him they couldn't find anything wrong or a reason for the smoke/steam. They stated they looked it over, drove it, had it run and still couldn't find anything. They also repaired another issue that a previous mechanic quoted him over $2k to fix for about $500. My fiancé was and is very happy with the service he received on his car. He stated he will now bring both of our cars here for all of our car needs!
