So I called to ask if someone could replace the trim clips. I have an enormous assortment, which I purchased online. Anthony said to bring the car over, and he'll take a look. Well, none of the 620 clips in the box will work. Pfffft. He said that the clips have to go in a certain way, and they slide on. He said that I will have to go to Land Rover for the clips, and he would install them. He very kindly put some more tape on the trim, and didn't charge me for it. I will get the clips, and return. I also need his help with another issue, and I feel very confident that he'll do a great job at a fair price. I am delighted to have found a good mechanic!! I have a wonderful mechanic in Colorado, and wasn't sure if I could find one of his caliber in NY. I'm happy to say that I believe that I have!

Andrew is very nice and articulate on the phone. That is my 1st impression of a good company. The person who answers the phone is usually the face of the company. He's got a good face. He has a sense of responsibility and pride for the technicians that work for the company and I could tell that by how he spoke about them. The technicians are very detailed, they show you photos of what they are inspecting and give you a lot of information. For me it's great as I have a mechanical background so I understood everything that was pointed out. I felt confident that my truck was thoroughly looked at. Went into to figure why my alarm has been going off randomly. They said it might be the auto start…read morethat was put on after buying the car but we told them that wasn't the problem since We had that removed then put back on by another mechanic since the alarm went after during that time. So that wasn't the issue. This mechanic still proceed to say that was the issue then took out the auto start and didn't put it back in after the alarm still went off with the auto start unplugged. We still payed for the first time and the second time since they said they'd put auto start back but didn't. They didn't listen. Didn't fix the problem and it was a waste of time and money for nothing to be done.

The first place I tried, in Southold, said I needed an appointment and the first one available was the next day. Next I tried On the Move and was told he could fit me in without an appointment. I stopped in 10 minutes later and my tire was fixed on the spot for a reasonable price, I think $25, even though I was driving a Tesla. The hole in the tire was near the edge, so it was a tricky repair, but it has held up for six months and counting. I would go to On the Move again. In fact, we plan to bring our Kia there today because the brakes are making a funny noise.
