Upon entering the store, it appeared closed. There were ripped-up dog pee pads on the floor, and the space felt unkempt and unprofessional. A man eventually came out from the back, seemed visibly annoyed, and barely acknowledged us. When I asked about resizing the ring, he handed us a ring sizer with little explanation. When we asked for guidance--specifically whether the ring should fit tighter or allow room--he offered no real direction. I then asked about the process for resizing, and he immediately quoted $200, stating that they are "the best in the area" and that everyone else is "learning from them." That price raised red flags. Since then, I've contacted two other reputable jewelers who both quoted $50 for the same exact resize. Additionally, the man was wearing a shirt that was ripped, stained, and literally held together with a pipe cleaner. Presentation matters--especially in the jewelry business. I've worked closely with people in this industry for years, and jewelers are typically polished, respectful, and detail-oriented. This experience was the complete opposite. Based on cleanliness, professionalism, attitude, and pricing, I would not recommend this business.

i had the wedding ring buying experience of a lifetime here. i came in one night to do some recon…read moreon my own, before my fiance and i went in together. i worked with Connor, who was very down to earth, and respectful of my budget. not only did he not push me toward anything we couldn't afford, he was also very genuine and transparent on how Hannoush was willing to work with us inside our budget. when my fiance and i went in today, i actually went in a completely different direction from the options Connor had shown me previously, but he very patiently listened to my needs, and showed me every ring i wanted to see. we found the winner, and could not be happier. our transaction process was smooth and easy, and Heather the store manager was also very helpful. we felt like they were genuinely interested in us, not just the money we were spending, and we left feeling secure in our purchase. i am so incredibly happy with my ring, and will come back to this particular store for future jewelry purchases. (as an FYI- the appraisal you will need for your insurance policy is actually included in the purchase price, which is amazing. that was a totally unexpected and welcome surprise.)

Second visit was to ask about appraisal for insurance to find out it has to be sent off for weeks (already dealt with this during COVID and didn't get my husbands band back for FOUR months and after wedding - we had to call to many no return calls). This was after waiting for 30 minutes after same salesman was working alone while you could hear another associate in the back on the phone (on a personal call and could hear conversation). I also had people waiting after me too. If you want to be waited on in appropriate fashion, go somewhere else. This location needs more associates. :/

So, I let her know on the budget we had agreed on before going. She looked at me and said "you need to get him to up that budget. You won't be able to get anything in that range". I was appalled. People go in looking at rings in all budgets and we didn't go in with an unhealthy budget as we had already looked online and knew an approx range of the type of ring we wanted to purchase. Once he came back, she told me that all we could afford was cluster rings and showed me a few rings that looked like they came out of charming charlies and was quite pushy that we purchase one. We left. If that is how Zales wants to do business by insulting their clients - then they can keep their jewelry. We ended up going to another jeweler and found exactly what we wanted, within our price point, with significantly better customer service!

I brought in my antique engagement ring that was incorrectly resized by a previous jeweler…read moreresulting in an oval shank. I had concerns about the ring spinning despite resizing. Gary inspected the ring in great detail and made a recommendation to remove some of the shank and rebuild it, as well as to place tension springs to prevent spinning and slipping. He took his time to measure my finger for the optimal fit. I was told by another jeweler that all of my prongs needed replacement and I wanted a second opinion. Gary again took his time to inspect all the prongs and reassured me that they didn't need replacement. I was very glad for his honesty. The next business day, Gary fixed the ring in 3-4 hours and it came out beautifully. I was so nervous previously to entrust someone with my ring, but I felt at ease. Gary offered that I stay and watch the entire process. He told me to inspect my gemstone carefully after his job was complete as general good practice after having my jewelry worked on! I am so happy with the end result and strongly recommend this jeweler. The key factors that impressed me most were honesty, trustworthiness, attention to detail, patience, mastery of his craft, and sharing of knowledge/providing an understandable rationale for his decision-making. I will absolutely be returning for intermittent ring checks!
