If you don't ask any questions and trust his 35 years "professional" experience, you can hire him. He broke my gutter down sprout on the day of power wash. He didn't tell me and collected my $2000 deposit. After three days, I find there is a water fall around my deck and basement wall is soaked in the accumulated water. So I tried to fix it by myself but I can't reach it because it is too high. I called him to fix it. He insisted it isn't a issue based on his 35 years experience and he will come to check on the day of painting. I think it is a urgent issue especially Seattle rain heavily recently. He doesn't want to be responsible for any further damage and doesn't want to fix the issue soon. We wasted too much time on the call and I noticed him with a formal text and explained all possible damage he will own. Then he asked someone to fix it by putting it together by hand without tightening the screw. It isn't an appropriate fix. His ability maybe only can support this simple fix. The surprise thing is he terminate the contract on his own and charged me a power wash with $650. It doesn't make sense because there is no contractor will continue to work on his unprofessional mess. The most important thing is there isn't fee for power wash only on contract. I asked him to full refund, he told me you can go ahead to file complaint with his bond company. He has lawyer to handle this.

Evidently their calling card is the ability to prep and paint an entire house in a day, which led them to miss a few things that Mr. Lee had to bang out quickly as they were packing up their van. I even had to pick up a few misses the next day, but I was a painter in my younger days, so it was no big deal given the low price. If I weren't handy with a brush, I would've been more annoyed. When we later attempted to return the unused material, we were told there was a 14-day deadline and a minimum quantity requirement--neither of which had been disclosed to us before the purchase. To make matters worse, they also sold us the wrong underlayment for a wood-on-wood installation, forcing us to spend more money to buy the correct product elsewhere. Management had every opportunity to make this right but instead hid behind the fine print and blamed their supplier. No accountability, no customer service, and no attempt to resolve a problem caused by their own staff providing inaccurate information. I found the floor I wanted (on sale!) showed Ryan, and he informed me that it was in stock. He then squeezed me in for an estimate that same day, and was able to drive to my house after his lunch break to take measurements. After he took measurements, he got back to me that evening with the quote break down. I was pleased that it came in 4K lower than the previous contractors. Once I confirmed that I wanted to move forward, I went to the show room (after the long l weekend) and Ryan was able to set me up for installation a week later. The estimate time of the project was 2 days but his workers got it done in 1! I am pleased with the whole experience, appreciate the efficiency of the process!
