I really appreciated the transparency instead of being pushed into a costly fix. On top of that, they worked with me on the diagnostic fee, which shows they actually care about their customers. They said they could and gave me a timeline for working on the vehicle that matched my needs. While I appreciate them getting me in on short notice, they consistently over-promised and under-delivered on when they would be able to work on my vehicle. They were able to diagnose a couple of leaks that they thought were the problem and sent me photos to show me what they were looking at. In the past when I've left my car at this shop for work they sent over a detailed estimate before starting the work, but this time I only received the verbal estimate over the phone. I drive an old car, which isn't worth much, and I did let the person know that I wasn't interested in investing more in repairs than the vehicle is worth. As it was, the two leaks were just over $1K to fix, and I OK'd the work to begin. After fixing the first two leaks, they then came back and told me there was a third leak, which would require a more major repair to the transmission and they would have to have their transmission person (who wasn't there that weekend) send me an estimate the next day. While I understand that it's plausible that the third leak wasn't something they could have originally diagnosed, it felt a bit weird that the photo they used to show me the leak was one of the original photos they had sent before starting any work. If the leak was visible in that photo, I'm unclear why they couldn't have diagnosed it earlier. The added cost of this additional repair definitely tips the scales of worth-it/not-worth-it to repair vs replace this car, so I wish I had had all the information before deciding to make the initial repairs. Unfortunately, despite stabilizing the ATF level, fixing the leaks did not resolve the transmission issue. On a smaller scale, they didn't check or top up the tire pressure, which most mechanics I've gone to have done as a courtesy when working on my vehicle. The day after I picked up my car the tire pressure light went on, and when I checked my tires all four of them had low pressure. It's a small thing, but especially when dealing with expensive mechanical items like cars, the small things matter a lot in creating a sense of security and trust with your mechanic. They did mention that they were under new management since the last time I had been in, which may account for the different experiences.

After not hearing anything for 2 weeks, I stopped by to check on the truck and agree on an approximate date of completion. I wasn't given anything specific other than excuses about this not being what they normally work on. The girl with the colorful hair told me they should be able to get it started by the end of the following week. Once again I stopped by 2 weeks later and got nothing but more of the same excuses. I was told that they are backed up but I cannot believe that EVERYONE waits over 4 weeks before anyone even looks at their trucks... with ZERO notification of any kind. I finally decided to pick up the truck as it was there for over 1 month, UNTOUCHED!! ANY communication regarding the status of the truck would have avoided this experience. I was looking forward to having these guys work on my truck. Knowing what I know now, I don't care what they think they can do. Running a service oriented business requires PROVIDING a service... both mechanical service and customer service in this case. I have nothing good to say but stay away. Update... I became upset, since I had been dealing with his bad attitude since I walked in and he was trying to rip me off. Inimmediately walked away and I said "You have a bad attitude by the way." To which he replied "Me?!" And I said "Yeah, you dip$h*t." Granted, I was a little rude but mostly because I wanted to get my car fixed for the price he gave me in the estimate. Flash forward a couple hours later, after fixing my car myself, I left a bad Google review for this guy so that people know he is a scammer. Well he replies and makes up a whole story about how I was cussing him out for a long time and interupting other customers. His story in the review had several contradictions in it and he must have realized it, since he deleted it or challenged my review via the system. After reviewing the other reviews, it appears clear to me that he is manipulating the Google system for a better rating. Definitely avoid if you do not know about auto repairs. Felt the need to post about this awesome automotive shop because it's new and more people should…read moreknow about it. Chris and Danny run this beauty of a shop, and they can help you out with both simple car maintenance (oil and brake changes) to both more involved mechanical repair work (transmission replacements) and custom modifications. I saw all kinds of cars in their shop -- American muscle, Japanese, and Euro cars. I had Chris and Danny help me out with a coilover suspension swap and a paddle shifter installation on my Infiniti G35. They were able to swap out my suspension in a matter of a couple of days. The paddle shifters were special order from Japan (thanks Chris!) and came stock only on JDM-spec cars, so they required a little more time to figure out and wire in. With little information available on the internet, Chris and Danny were able to create a custom bracket to mount the shifters to my steering column and were able to figure out the wiring so paddle shifters performed as they should. They also advised me on other work that might need to be done in the future on my car. They also replaced a water pump on my gf's Volvo S60 that was causing a check engine light. As a result of their work, the car passed smog. In this world of new cars that have a lot of electronics, Chris and Danny are not only computer technicians but also mechanics. They are friendly, quick to respond to phone calls and texts, reasonably priced for the top notch level of service they provide, and, most importantly, honest. So when I got there explained my situation well long story short I told him tired of the run arounds he said don't worry this will be your last stop! He was right him and his brother Danny got down and figured it out I needed a new battery! Damn makes me start to question Triple A and auto zone!?!
